East Jessamine High School

Nicholasville is a home rule city in and the county seat of Jessamine County, Kentucky. The population was 31,490 during the 2020 U.S. census, making Nicholasville the 10th-largest settlement in the state. Since the late 20th century, Nicholasville has undergone rapid growth; the population increased 440.23% between 1970 and 2020. The city serves as both a residential area for Lexington-area commuters and as an employment and shopping center for central Kentucky.

The J. S. Bronaugh House, at 103 N. 2nd St. in Nicholasville, Kentucky, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It was an Italianate-style two-story brick house with an L-shaped plan and an octagonal projecting bay at its ell gable end. The house is no longer standing.

Jessamine County () is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,991. Its county seat is Nicholasville. The county was founded in December 1798. Jessamine County is part of the Lexington-Fayette, KY Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is within the Inner Blue Grass region, long a center of farming and blooded stock raising, including thoroughbred horses. The legislature established a commercial wine industry here in the late 18th century.

Roberts Chapel is a historic chapel in Nicholasville, Kentucky. It was built in 1845 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. During the Civil War, the hospital's proximity to Camp Nelson prompted its use as a military hospital.

The Brick House on Shun Pike, near Nicholasville, Kentucky, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The listing included four contributing buildings on 40 acres (16 ha).The house is a five-bay one-story brick central passage plan house, with an original brick ell and brick end chimneys. The brickwork is Flemish bond. It has high quality Federal-style interior woodwork.It is located off what is now Kentucky Route 1268.

The John Hunter House in Jessamine County, Kentucky, near Logana, Kentucky, was built in 1792. It has also been known as the Old County Poor Farm. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It was built for one of the first two European-descent settlers in the county, John Jacob Hunter. The house was used for a time as a county poor farm during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
