2025 SEA Games closing ceremony

The opening ceremony of the 2025 SEA Games took place on 9 December 2025 across Bangkok, began at 19:00 ICT (12:00 UTC) and ended at 21:30 ICT (14:30 UTC). The Games was formally opened by the king of Thailand, Vajiralongkorn. The ceremony marked the decades of the 1975, 1985 and 1995 Southeast Asian Games.

The Rajamangala National Stadium (Thai: ราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน; RTGS: Ratchamangkhala Kila Sathan, pronounced [râːt.t͡ɕʰā.māŋ.kʰā.lāː kīː.lāː sā.tʰǎːn]) is the national stadium of Thailand. It is part of the Hua Mak Sports Complex, and is located in Hua Mak Subdistrict, Bang Kapi, Bangkok. It officially opened on 6 December 1998 during the 1998 Asian Games opening.

Indoor Stadium Huamark (Thai: อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก, RTGS: Indo Satediam Hua Mak, pronounced [ʔīn.dɔ̄ː sā.tēː.dîa̯m hǔa̯ màːk]) is an indoor sporting arena, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The original capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and it was built in 1966 for the 5th Asian Games. After renovation for 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup, the capacity is reduced to 6,000 seats and expandable to 8,000 seats.It is used mainly for concerts, badminton, boxing, basketball, futsal, and volleyball. On 22 May 2001, Irish vocal pop band Westlife held a concert for their Where Dreams Come True Tour supporting their album Coast to Coast.

Ramkhamhaeng University (RU) (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง, RTGS: Mahawitthayalai Ramkhamhaeng) is Thailand's largest public university. It was named in honour of King Ramkhamhaeng the Great of Sukhothai. The university provides an effective and economical way to meet public demand for higher education.

Ramkhamhaeng University Stadium (Thai: สนาม มหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง) is a multi-purpose stadium in Bang Kapi District, Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium holds 6,000 people. The stadium has a grass surface.

Traill International School, Bangkok (Thai: โรงเรียนนานาชาติเทร็ลล์, RTGS: Rong Rian Nana Chat Thren) is a school in Bang Kapi District, Bangkok, Thailand.Established in 1966, it has an enrollment of approximately 500 students ranging from Pre - Kindergarten to Sixth Form. The standardised British National Curriculum (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) is followed by all year groups in the school.

Rama IX Road, also written as Rama 9 Road (Thai: ถนนพระราม 9, RTGS: Thanon Phra Ram Kao) is one main road in east Bangkok. It starts at Rama IX Intersection, where Ratchadaphisek meet Asok-Din Daeng Roads and acted a boundary between Din Daeng and Huai Khwang Districts, then eastward through Watthana Tham Junction, through the crossroad of Pradit Manutham and intersects with Ramkhamhaeng Road in Bang Kapi District to the end at Srinakarin Interchange, the starting point of Srinakarin Road in the area of Suan Luang District, Motorway 7 (commonly known as Motorway) is a continuous route. Total distance is about 8.7 km (5.4 mi).The phase between Ramkhamhaeng Intersection to Srinakarin Interchange, it has the status of National Highway 343, formerly under the supervision of the Department of Highways. Currently under the supervision of Bangkok (BMA). The distance from the crossing of Khlong Chuad Yai, it runs parallel to the Si Rat Expressway in form of frontage road all the route. Its named in honour of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) (reigning 1946–2016). It is regarded as one of the Rama Series Road, consisting of Rama I, Rama II, Rama III, Rama IV, Rama V, Rama VI, and Rama IX is the last.The road was opened in 1978 under the unofficial name "Liap Khlong Samsen Fang Nuea Road" (ถนนเลียบคลองสามเสนฝั่งเหนือ, "northern Samsen waterside road").Rama IX Road is considered to be one of Bangkok's nightlife spots like the neighbouring Ratchadaphisek Road, especially in the 1990s (before 1997 Asian financial crisis) many nightclubs were operating on this road. They are known among Thai people as "café".Bordering the road are Phra Ram 9 MRT station, MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), Government Housing Bank (GH Bank), Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), Royal City Avenue (RCA), Rama IX Super Tower, etc.

Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) School (โรงเรียนบดินทรเดชา (สิงห์ สิงหเสนี)), commonly abbreviated as Bodin, is a Thai high school. It teaches students from grades 7–12. The school is in Wang Thong Lang, Bangkok. The number of currently registered students is approximately 5,000. The school was established on 30 April 1971. The school is named in honour of Chao Phraya Bodindecha, also known as Sing Singhaseni, who was a general from Yasothon under King Rama III (Phra Nangklao) of Siam.

St. Mark's International School (Thai: โรงเรียนนานาชาติเซนต์มาร์ค, RTGS: Rong Rian Nana Chat Sen Mak) is an international Australian school located in Suan Luang District, Bangkok.It is a Christian school and a member of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). It was established in 1999 as the first Australian international school in Thailand. The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Students come from a range of countries including Australia, England, New Zealand, the US, India, Singapore, Brazil, China, Japan and Thailand. The schools offers an Australian and Singapore curriculum at primary level, and an IGCSE and A Level program in the secondary school. St. Mark's will be opening its second campus on Srinakarin Road in 2022.

Kasem Bundit University (KBU) is a private university in Thailand. Established in 1987, it offers academic programs at graduate and undergraduate levels. Among its institutes are the Institute of Digital Media Law at Kasem Bundit University. The school has been hired by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to perform joint research. The university's journal was started in 1999, while the university was started in 1993 out of Kasem Bundit College.

Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) is an industry-oriented private college located in Bangkok, Thailand. The college was established in 2006 by the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan). It was founded with the cooperation of Thai and Japanese organizations. The main distinction of all of its curriculum is the inclusion of a half-year long internship in industry (cooperative program), especially in a Japanese company, and also mandatory Japanese and English language courses every semester. The first enrollment in 2007 was approximately 300 students. In 2008, there were about 900 students. Many of the students received scholarships from Thai-Japanese organizations, Japanese companies and the Japan Chamber of Commerce (JCC).

Hua Mak (Thai: หัวหมาก, pronounced [hǔa̯ màːk]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Bang Kapi District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 67,798 people.
