Goulding is a census-designated place (CDP) in Escambia County, Florida, United States. The population was 4,102 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pensacola–Ferry Pass–Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Brownsville-Brent-Goulding was a Census-designated place in Escambia County, Florida during the 1950 United States Census, which consists of the communities of Brent, Brownsville, Goulding and West Pensacola. The population in 1950 was 20,269.The census area's name was reduced to just "Brownsville" during the 1960 Census, when the population increased to 38,417. During the 1970 census, the census area was reduced and was reassigned to West Pensacola, with a recorded population of 20,924. The communities of Brent and Goulding were not returned separately by census enumerators until 1980.

Baptist Hospital is a health care facility in Pensacola, Florida. It was the first to operate medical evacuations by helicopter in Florida. The hospital opened in 1951, and is the largest facility in the Baptist Health Care network.

The James House, also known as the "Chappie" James House, was the home of Daniel "Chappie" James, Jr. in Pensacola, Florida. It is located at 1606 North Martin Luther King Boulevard. On December 13, 2000, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Crystal Ice Company Building is a historic building located at 2024 North Davis Street in Pensacola, Florida. Built in 1932, the building was used by the Crystal Ice Company to sell ice to travelers. The building, which resembles a block of ice, is one of the few surviving vernacular roadside buildings in Pensacola. On September 29, 1983, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

WRRX (106.1 FM) is an urban adult contemporary music formatted radio station in the Pensacola, Florida, market owned by Cumulus Media. Its studios and transmitter are separately located in Pensacola. WRRX signed on in 2000 as WZRO with an active rock format as "Rock 106, Pensacola's Real Rock." Shortly thereafter, WZRO changed calls to WRRX. In 2004, WRRX changed format to Urban AC. It is one of two Urban ACs that Cumulus owns in the Gulf Coast area, the other being WDLT-FM in Mobile, Alabama.

The Temple Beth-El (Hebrew: ק.ק. בית אל), located in downtown Pensacola, Florida, is the oldest dedicated Jewish house of worship in Florida. The temple was founded in 1876.Beth-El is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, and has led the congregation in Reform Judaism services since the temple's foundation. The current rabbi is Joel Fleekop.

Pensacola ( PEN-sə-KOH-lə) is the westernmost city in the Florida Panhandle, and the county seat and only incorporated city of Escambia County, Florida. Pensacola is the principal city of the Pensacola Metropolitan Area, which had an estimated 502,629 residents in 2019. At the 2020 United States census, the population was 54,312. Pensacola was first settled by the Spanish in 1559, predating the establishment of St. Augustine by 6 years, although the settlement was abandoned due to a hurricane and not re-established until 1698. Pensacola is a seaport on Pensacola Bay, which is protected by the barrier island of Santa Rosa and connects to the Gulf of Mexico. A large United States Naval Air Station, the first in the United States, is located southwest of Pensacola near Warrington; it is the base of the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and the National Naval Aviation Museum. The main campus of the University of West Florida is situated north of the city center. The area was originally inhabited by Muskogean-speaking peoples. The Pensacola people lived there at the time of European contact, and Creek people frequently visited and traded from present-day southern Alabama and Mississippi and southeast of Louisiana. Spanish explorer Tristán de Luna founded a short-lived settlement in 1559. In 1698 the Spanish established a presidio in the area, from which the modern city gradually developed. The area changed hands several times as European powers competed in North America. During Florida's British rule (1763–1781), fortifications were strengthened. It is nicknamed "The City of Five Flags", due to the five governments that have ruled it during its history: the flags of Spain (Castile), France, Great Britain, the United States of America, and the Confederate States of America. Other nicknames include "World's Whitest Beaches" (due to the white sand of Florida panhandle beaches), "Cradle of Naval Aviation", "Western Gate to the Sunshine State", "America's First Settlement", "Emerald Coast", and "P-Cola".

Agrico Chemical Co. is a Superfund site located in Pensacola, Florida. The facility operated under different companies from 1881 to 1975, when it was shut down by Agrico Chemical Company. The EPA found radium-226, radium-228, sulfuric acid, lead and fluorides in the groundwater. The facility produced sulfuric acid from pyrite from 1881 to 1920. The EPA believes that the lead and sulfuric acid came from corroding lead tanks that held the sulfuric acid. From 1920 to 1975, the facility produced fertilizer.By 1979, all of the equipment had been removed from the site.

Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a national historic site located at 528 West Jackson Street, Pensacola, Florida in Escambia County. It is the second oldest black Baptist church in Pensacola. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 24, 2013.
