Banyalbufar (Catalan pronunciation: [bəɲəlβuˈfa]) is a municipality on the Spanish Balearic island of Majorca. The town of the same name is the administrative seat of the municipality. It borders the municipalities of Estellencs, Puigpunyent, Esporles, and Valldemossa.

The prehistoric site of Son Oleza is a prehistoric "Beaker culture" dolmen and associated settlement site on the Spanish island of Mallorca. It is near to the village of Valldemossa on the island's north-west facing coast. The site is named after the nearby place of Son Oleza. The large site, a nearly complete village, has been investigated by Professor Bill Waldren. Significant features include houses, a dolmen and a water supply system. It is believed the site was occupied by several families between circa 2500BC to circa 1300BC.In 1998 it was the subject of episode 5 in series five of the archaeological television programme Time Team (Series 5).

The Valldemossa Charterhouse (Catalan: Cartoixa de Valldemossa, Spanish: Cartuja de Valldemosa, translatable as Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa) is a palace in Valldemossa, Mallorca that was royal residence of the king Sancho of Majorca and later Royal Charterhouse (15th century) of the Carthusians.

Es Capdellà (translation from Catalan: "at the end of there") is a village in the municipality of Calvià on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Situated on the hill known as the Puig de sa crane at 115 m (377 ft) above sea level, it has an area of 71.81 hectares. The closest neighboring villages are Galilee and Andratx. Es Capdellà is a residential area of various nationalities (about 80 by the year 2009). It has a population of approximately 1,000 inhabitants.

Calvià (locally [kəlviˈa]) is a municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is located in the southwestern part of the island of Majorca, between the Serra de Tramuntana and the Serra de Na Burguesa. The municipal seat is the town of Calvià Vila.Calvià has an approximate area of 145 km2 (56 sq mi). It is bordered on the north by the municipalities of Puigpunyent and Estellencs, Palma de Mallorca (Palma), the island's capital to the east, Andratx to the west and to the south by the Mediterranean Sea. According to the 2008 census, the municipality had a population of 50,777 inhabitants, of whom 18,046 were foreigners. Since 1248, Calvià has had its own parochial church, Sante Ihoannes Caviano. Despite the popularity and use of the official shield locally, the municipality has no flag.

Serra de Na Burguesa (Balearic Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsɛrə ðə nə buɾˈɣəzə], formerly Serra de Portopí or Sierra de Porto Pi, meaning "Port of Pine Mountain") is a well-defined mountain on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is the southernmost portion of the Serra de Tramuntana range, terminating in the Mediterranean Sea at Bay of Palma. Na Burguesa is located approximately halfway between Santa Ponsa and Palma. The municipality of Calvià is located between Na Burguesa and Serra de Tramuntana.

The Parc Bit is a science and technology park located in the outskirts of the city of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Many innovation research centres of enterprises related with tourism are placed here, such as Trivago or Microsoft. It was opened in 2002 and currently around 2,500 employees work there. It is located near the University of the Balearic Islands.

Parc Bit is a station on line M1 of the Palma Metro in the northern suburbs of the city of Palma de Mallorca on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It was opened on 2 July 2025 as a one-station extension from UIB and serves as the northern terminus of the line. The station is located in the technological park Parc Bit, from which it derives its name. The 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) long extension from UIB, the previous terminus of the line, to Parc Bit science and technology park was agreed in 2019. It was originally due to open in 2020.
