Starbeck is an area of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England. The population of Starbeck Ward taken at the 2011 census was 6,226. It has many facilities, including Starbeck railway station, which serves the Harrogate Line. Frequent services depart to Harrogate, Leeds and York.

Rudding Park Hotel, Spa and Golf is a Grade I listed Regency-style country house in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England.It is situated within the 2,000-acre (8.1 km2) Rudding Park estate at Follifoot on the southern outskirts of Harrogate. It is a two-storey building made of ashlar with a Westmorland slate roof, designed in the style of the Wyatts by an unknown architect.

The Great Yorkshire Show (GYS) is an agricultural show which takes place on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in the North of England annually from the second Tuesday of July until the following Thursday. It is organised and run by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS). Since the demise of the Royal Show the GYS has been the largest agricultural show in England, however within the UK it is surpassed by both the Royal Welsh Show and the Royal Highland Show. The show is highly successful and the Society generated income of £9.6 million in 2016. A new Hall at the showground, costing £11 million, opened in 2016 and produced more than £1 million of income in its first year.

The Great Yorkshire Railway Preservation Society was a short-lived preservation scheme, based in Starbeck, North Yorkshire in England. It was formed in 1980 with the aim of restoring part of the Leeds-Northallerton Railway and based at the former Starbeck loco shed, then owned by Octavius Atkinson steel works. The steel works closed in 1989, and the group moved to the Yorkshire Museum of Farming at Murton, near York, where they went on to successfully restore part of the former Derwent Valley Light Railway.

St Andrew's Church is in High Street, Starbeck, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Harrogate, the archdeaconry of Richmond, and the Diocese of Leeds. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The current vicar is the Reverend Phil Carman.

Starbeck Hall is a historic building in Starbeck, a suburb of Harrogate, a town in North Yorkshire, in England. The building was constructed between 1810 and 1811 as the town's workhouse. It replaced a smaller building at Land Green Farm, near Pannal. In 1854, a new Poor Law Union was established, based in Knaresborough, and in 1858 a new workhouse was opened there. The old building was converted into the Beech Grove Academy boarding school, and then later into apartments, named Starbeck Hall. The building was grade II listed in 1975. The building is constructed of stone, with an eaves cornice, and a tile roof with a coped shaped gable containing a round-headed arch surmounted by an urn, and kneelers with finials. It has three storeys and seven bays, the middle three bays projecting. In the centre is a porch set in an earlier porch, with a cornice on bracketed consoles, and the windows are recessed sashes.

Harrogate and Knaresborough () is a parliamentary constituency in North Yorkshire which has been represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2010 by Andrew Jones, an MP from the Conservative Party. The constituency was formed in the 1997 boundary shake-up, which was originally named Harrogate a Conservative stronghold.

St Joseph and St James' Church is an Anglican church in Follifoot, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The church was commissioned by Joseph Radcliffe and the Reverend James Tripp, originally as a chapel of ease to All Saints' Church, Spofforth. It was opened on 22 October 1848, by the Bishop of Ripon. Its construction cost £750 and it could accommodate up to 150 worshippers. The pulpit dates from 1955 and was designed by Robert Thompson, while the pews, altar rail, table and Bishop's chair were replaced between 1964 and 1966. The tower was restored and reduced in height in 1975, and the whole church was restored in 1991. The building was grade II listed in 1985. The church is built of gritstone with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. It consists of a nave, a south porch, and a chancel with a small north vestry. On the west gable is a gabled bellcote with one round-headed arch. The porch is gabled and contains an entrance with a pointed arch and a hood mould, and the windows are lancets. The windows in the chancel have stained glass inserted between 1879 and 1881 and are dedicated to the memory of Radcliffe.
