The Snell Arcade (also known as the Rutland Building) is a historic site in St. Petersburg, Florida. The building was designed by the architect Richard Kiehnel of Kiehnel and Elliott. Built in 1926, it is located at 405 Central Avenue. On November 4, 1982, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The Snell Arcade was developed by C. Perry Snell, a wealthy landowner and philanthropist.

The S. H. Kress and Co. Building, a historic building located at 475 Central Avenue at the corner of 5th Street S. in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. It was built in 1927 in the classical Commercial style influenced by the Beaux-Arts movement. The building operated as a "five and-dime" store from 1927 until the company closed it c.1981.The building is located within the Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 1, 2001.

The Dennis Hotel (also known as the McCarthy Hotel) is a historic hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 326 1st Avenue North. On April 17, 1986, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Florida Holocaust Museum is a Holocaust museum located at 55 Fifth Street South in St. Petersburg, Florida. Founded in 1992, it moved to its current location in 1998. Formerly known as the Holocaust Center, the museum officially changed to its current name in 1999. It is one of the largest Holocaust museums in the United States. It was founded by Walter and Edith Lobenberg both of whom were German Jews who escaped persecution in Nazi Germany by immigrating to the United States. Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel served as Honorary Chairman and cut the ribbon at the 1998 opening ceremony. The Florida Holocaust Museum is one of three Holocaust Museums that are accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The museum works with the local community and survivors of the Holocaust to spread awareness and to educate the public on the history of the Holocaust.

The Alexander Hotel is an historic hotel located at 535 Central Avenue between 5th Street S. and 6th Street S. in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The four-story, buff-colored brick building was built in 1919 and was designed by Neel Reid in the Classical Revival style. It has been converted to an office building. On November 1, 1984, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is located within the Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District.

The Domestic Science and Manual Training School (also known as the St. Petersburg City Hall Annex) is an historic school in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 440-442 2nd Avenue North. On October 14, 1999, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Cathedral Church of St. Peter is an Episcopal cathedral in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. It is the seat of the Diocese of Southwest Florida. In 2004 it was included as a contributing property in the Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.

As of the 2020 census, the population was 258,308, making it the fifth-most populous city in Florida and the second-largest city in the Tampa Bay Area, after Tampa. It is the largest city in the state that is not a county seat (the city of Clearwater is the seat of Pinellas County). Along with Clearwater, these cities are part of the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area, the second-largest in Florida with a population of around 2.8 million. St. Petersburg is on the Pinellas peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, and is connected to mainland Florida to the north. Locals often refer to the city as St. Pete. Neighboring St. Pete Beach formally shortened its name in 1994 after a vote by its residents. St. Petersburg is governed by a mayor and city council.With an average of 361 days of sunshine annually, and a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive days of sunshine (768 days between 1967 and 1969), it is nicknamed "The Sunshine City." Located on the Gulf of Mexico, the average water temperature is typically around 76 °F (24 °C). Due to its good weather, the city has long been a popular retirement destination, although in recent years the population has moved in a much more youthful direction.

Jannus Live (originally known as Jannus Landing) is an outdoor music venue in St. Petersburg, Florida. Located in the Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District, the courtyard venue has hosted numerous concerts for local and mainstream artists. The venue was founded in 1984 by Bob Barnes & Bill Pendergast & Gene Bryant and was named after pilot, Tony Jannus. In 2009, the venue was renovated and opened later in March 2010 under a new owner Jeff Knight "Jannus Live" and management. The venue is cited for hosting the most concerts in the Bay Area. In 2010, the venue was awarded "Best Small Concert Venue" and "Best Back in the Saddle" from the Creative Loafing Best of Bay Awards. This venue is known for having outdoor standing room only. No outside seating is permitted to enter the venue.

Priatek Plaza, formerly known as One Progress Plaza and the Bank of America Tower, is a 28-story skyscraper designed by Jung Brannen Associates located at 200 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. It was completed in 1990, and at 117.65 m (386.0 ft), it is the second tallest building in the city after One St. Petersburg, tallest building in Pinellas County, and has the largest tenant occupancy in a commercial office building on the entire South West coast of Florida. On September 18, 2015, Kucera Properties announced that the tower would be renamed Priatek Plaza after the company Priatek. Priatek, which occupies about 8,000 square feet (740 m2) on the 23rd floor of the tower, had moved its headquarters into the tower after Kucera Properties had offered them an undisclosed amount. The official dedication ceremony for the new plaza's name was held on September 17, 2015.Other major tenants located in Priatek Plaza include The Mill Restaurant, Merrill Lynch, American Express Serve, Raymond James, and iQor.
