Tschiertschen

Tschiertschen-Praden is a municipality in the Plessur Region in the Grisons, Switzerland. It was formed on 1 January 2009 through the merger of Praden and Tschiertschen.

Plessur District (German: Bezirk Plessur, Romansh: ) is a former administrative district in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It had an area of 266.73 km2 (102.99 sq mi) and has a population of 40,707 in 2015. The former district is named after the river Plessur which crosses it. However, the region along the Plessur –and therefore the whole valley–is called Schanfigg. It was replaced with the Plessur Region on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.Plessur District consisted of three Kreise (sub-districts) Chur, Churwalden and Schanfigg, which are formed from a total of twelve municipalities:

The Plessur Region is one of the eleven administrative districts in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It had an area of 285.30 square kilometers (110.15 sq mi) and a population of 42,822 (as of 31 December 2020). It was created on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.

Castiel () is a former municipality in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Castiel, Calfreisen, Langwies, Lüen, Molinis, Peist and St. Peter-Pagig merged into the municipality of Arosa.

The Castielertobel Viaduct (German: Castielertobel-Viadukt) is a single track railway bridge spanning the Castielertobelbach, and linking the municipalities of Castiel and Calfreisen, in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It was built between 1913 and 1914 for the Chur–Arosa railway, and is now owned and used by the Rhaetian Railway.

Lüen-Castiel railway station is a railway station on the Chur–Arosa railway (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It is situated in Lüen and also serves nearby Castiel. A short distance to the west of the station, in the direction of Chur, is the Castielertobel Viaduct, which, after the Langwieser Viaduct and the Gründjitobel Viaduct, is the third-largest bridge on the Arosa line.

Calfreisen (Romansh: ) is a former municipality in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Calfreisen, Castiel, Langwies, Lüen, Molinis, Peist and St. Peter-Pagig merged into the municipality of Arosa.

Lüen is a former municipality in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Lüen, Calfreisen, Castiel, Langwies, Molinis, Peist and St. Peter-Pagig merged into the municipality of Arosa.

Bernegg Castle is a ruined castle in the village of Calfreisen in the municipality of Arosa of the Canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

The Gürgaletsch is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located between Churwalden and Tschiertschen in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

Praden (Romansh: Prada) is a village in the municipality of Tschiertschen-Praden in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The formerly independent municipality merged with Tschiertschen to form Tschiertschen-Praden on January 1, 2009.

Pagig is a village in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. An independent municipality before, it merged on January 1, 2008 with neighboring St. Peter to form the municipality of St. Peter-Pagig.
