Shinjuku-nishiguchi Station

The Sompo Museum of Art is an art museum in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. It is owned by the Japanese insurance company SOMPO and is located next to the company's headquarters. It started as the Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Museum of Art in 1976 and gradually expanded. The current six-storey building was completed in 2020. The museum became famous when it bid 5.8 billion yen (£25 million) for one of Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers paintings at Christie's in London on 30 March 1987, far exceeding the largest amount ever paid for a painting. The record up to that point was 1.95 billion yen (£8.2 million), which was paid for Adoration of the Magi by Mantegna. The painting has been in the museum's collection ever since.

Seibu-Shinjuku Station (西武新宿駅, Seibu-Shinjuku-eki) is a railway station in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Seibu Railway. It is the terminus of the 47.5 km Seibu Shinjuku Line, which extends to Hon-Kawagoe in Saitama Prefecture.The station is located approximately 420 meters by foot from Shinjuku Station. It is part of the Shinjuku Prince Hotel and Seibu Shinjuku PePe shopping complex, with the ticket machines and platforms located on the second-floor level. The main entrance is located at the southern end, and a smaller "North entrance" is located at the north end of the station.

Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower (モード学園コクーンタワー, Mōdo gakuen kokūn tawā) is a 204 metres (669 feet), 50-story educational facility located in the Nishi-Shinjuku district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The building is home to three educational institutions: Tokyo Mode Gakuen (fashion vocational school), HAL Tokyo (special technology and design college), and Shuto Ikō (medical college). Completed in October 2008, the tower is the second-tallest educational building in the world and was the 17th-tallest building in Tokyo. It was awarded the 2008 Skyscraper of the Year by Emporis.

The Myojo 56 building fire (明星56ビル火災, Myōjō Gojū-Roku Biru Kasai) was a structural fire that began at about 01:00 local time on September 1, 2001 in the Myojo 56 building, located in the Kabukichō section of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The fire, the fifth-deadliest in post-war Japanese history, burned for five hours before being extinguished and resulted in the deaths of 44 people. It is suspected that the fire resulted from arson, but no suspect was ever arrested. In the aftermath of the incident, media coverage focused on the arrest and conviction of the property owners for criminal negligence and on the building's putative ties to organized crime.

Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is a 48-storey skyscraper located in the Kabukichō district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The 225 m (738 ft) tower was designed by Yuko Nagayama & Associates and developed by Shimizu Corporation. It was completed in 2023 as Japan's 19th tallest building.

The Sompo Japan Head Office Building (損保ジャパン本社ビル, Sonpo Japan Honsha Biru) is the corporate headquarters for Sompo Japan Insurance. It is located in the district Nishi-Shinjuku in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. At 200 metres (656 ft), the building is the 28th tallest building in Tokyo and the 33rd tallest in Japan. It was designed by Yoshikazu Uchida. On the street level is Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Museum of Art, where one of Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers" series of paintings is located. The building is similar in appearance to Chase Tower. The building made an appearance in the 1984 film The Return of Godzilla.

The Godzilla head is a landmark and tourist attraction in Kabukichō, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The sculpture is accessible from Hotel Gracery Shinjuku's Godzilla Terrace, on the Shinjuku Toho Building. It depicts Godzilla, occasionally with "glowing eyes and smoky breath". The 80-ton head, based on Godzilla's appearance in Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992), was unveiled in 2015. Its placement on the Hotel Gracery's terrace matches Godzilla's 50 meter height seen during the Showa era films in the franchise.

Shinjuku Face (新宿FACE, Shinjuku feisu) is an event hall located on the 7th floor of the Humax Pavilion Shinjuku complex, 1-20-1 Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan. It mainly hosts mixed martial arts, boxing and professional wrestling events. Shinjuku Face has a capacity of approximately 600 people.

The Shinjuku Koma Theater (新宿コマ劇場, Shinjuku Koma Gekijō) was a major theatre in the Kabukichō, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The theatre opened in 1956 and it had a capacity of 2,088 seats.

Shinjuku Toho Building (新宿東宝ビル, Shinjuku Tōhō Biru) is a building in Kabukichō, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. It features Toho Cinemas Shinjuku (TOHOシネマズ新宿), a theater run by Toho's subsidiary Toho Cinemas, and the Godzilla head on the terrace of its Hotel Gracery.

Shinjuku Highway Bus Terminal (新宿高速バスターミナル, Shinjuku Kōsoku-basu Tāminaru) was a bus terminal once operated by Keio Bus, in Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. This bus terminal has been closed and replaced with the much larger South exit dedicated Bus Terminal housing all companies under one roof, unifying ticketing systems and signage, whereas previously each company had their own terminal serving the station. The new terminal (Busta for short, Shinjuku Bus Terminal) is the nation's largest bus terminal.

The Shinjuku L Tower (新宿エルタワー) is a skyscraper located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Construction of the 121-metre (397 ft), 31-storey skyscraper was finished in 1989. It was built by the Japanese construction firm, Shimizu Construction Company.
