East Ciputat

Ciputat is a district in the city of South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia and is inside the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It covers an area of 18.38 km2 and its population at the 2020 Census was 208,722.Ciputat Timur ("East Ciputat") is a separate administrative district of South Tangerang, situated to the east of Ciputat. It covers an area of 15.43 km2 and its population at the 2020 Census was 172,139.

Situ Gintung (Sundanese, Lake Gintung) is an artificial lake near to the town of Cirendeu (pronounced [tʃirəndɤ]) in the city of South Tangerang, Indonesia. It was formed by a dam up to 16 metres (52 ft) high which was built by Dutch colonial authorities in 1933. The dam failed on 27 March 2009, draining the lake, with resulting floods killing at least 100 people.

Cirendeu, also spelled Cireundeu, is a suburb of the town of Ciputat. It is located in the city of South Tangerang, Banten Province in Indonesia. The suburb was home to the Situ Gintung, an artificial lake and dam which was breached on 27 March 2009, causing the deaths of at least 99 people.

State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (Indonesian: Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Arabic: جامعة شريف هداية الله الإسلامية الحكومية جاكرتا) is a public university in Indonesia, located in Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten.

Lebak Bulus MRT Station (or Lebak Bulus Grab MRT Station, with Grab granted for naming rights) is a rapid transit station on the North-South Line of the Jakarta MRT in Jakarta, Indonesia. Located in the South Jakarta, it is the terminus of the North-South Line, however the track does continue east, towards Lebak Bulus Depot. This station is connected with TransJakarta Corridor 8 bus rapid transit route.

Pondok Cabe Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Pondok Cabe) (IATA: PCB, ICAO: WIHP) is a combined civilian and military airport in Pondok Cabe, Pamulang, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. The airport is owned by the state oil company Pertamina and operated by Pelita Air Service, which also owned Indopelita Aircraft Services that has a maintenance hangar at this airport. Pondok Cabe does not handle regular airline traffic. Other than serving as the Maintenance, repair and overhaul base for Pelita Air Service and PT. Indonesia Defence Services, the airport is also the home of the Aviation Wing of the Indonesian National Police, CASA 212 equipped- Multipurpose air squadron of the Indonesian Army and Naval Aviation (Puspenerbal) of Indonesian Navy as well as Portela Jaya Light-sport aircraft hangar. Pondok Cabe Airport serves Ciputat, Cinere, Depok, other parts of Depok and districts in South Jakarta. The airport is located in South Tangerang and not far from the border of Cinere in Depok, Pamulang, West and East Ciputat in South Tangerang, and Cilandak and Jagakarsa in South Jakarta. It has a runway with a length of 1,986 metres (6,516 ft). There has been discussion to develop Pondok Cabe into a commercial airport since 2008. Indonesian flag carrier Garuda Indonesia even planned to open a base at Pondok Cabe Airport by the end of 2016. However, since Pondok Cabe airport shares the same airspace as Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, Pondok Cabe cannot be developed further as a commercial airport as initially planned.

The Kites Museum of Indonesia (Museum Layang-Layang Indonesia) is a museum in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. It is the first kites museum in Indonesia. Its collection includes more than 600 kites.

Al-Izhar Pondok Labu (AIPL) is a moderate Islamic K-12 school in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It consists of a kindergarten, primary school, junior secondary school and senior secondary school. It is a National Plus school and the language of instruction is Indonesian. The school's motto is Beriman, Mandiri, Kreatif, Nasionalis or Pious, Independent, Creative, Nationalist.

Cinere is a district of the city of Depok, West Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 10.55 km2 and had a population of 107,461 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate (for mid 2018) is 144,038. Cinere borders to its east with the Jagakarsa District and to its north with the Cilandak District, both being part of South Jakarta City; to the west it borders with the Ciputat Timur District and the Pamulang District of South Tangerang City within Banten Province; and to the south it borders the Limo District of Depok City. Cinere has a large multi-racial population as a result of long-term transmigration from elsewhere in West Java and from Banten, that began in the late 1960s.

Universitas Terbuka (UT, literally Open University) is Indonesia state university and employs Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system to widen access to higher education to all Indonesian citizens, including those who live in remote islands throughout the country, as well as in various parts of the world. It has a total student body of 1,045,665 (as of 2019/2020 according to Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture Higher Education database). According to a distance education institution in the UK, which published "The Top Ten Mega Universities", UT-3 ranks closely with universities from China and Turkey.

Pondok Indah is an upscale residential area in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Indonesia. Dubbed the Beverly Hills of Indonesia, this is a much sought-after suburb by expatriates, conglomerates, celebrities, and government officials. This area was built by the Metropolitan Kentjana Group in the 70s into the most prestigious and complete residential complex and commercial area in Indonesia. Houses in this suburb can run upwards to millions of U.S. dollars. Many mansions in the area comprise one to three floors, with designated quarters for household staff. Many of the larger mansions are inhabited by wealthy Indonesians. The 'Jakarta Post' estimates that 74.5% of residents in Pondok Indah are expatriates, following their annual survey of Indonesia. (Jakarta Post, issue 6 edition 21, January 6, 2007) A posh shopping complex, Pondok Indah Mall, caters to residents.

The Reksa Artha Museum (Indonesian: Museum Reksa Artha) is a history museum located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum has a collection of historic items related to the printing of Indonesian rupiah. Some of its collection are historic Rupiah banknotes from the independence period until the Orde Baru era, 20th century money printers, coin making tools and historic pictures about the ORI (Oeang Republic of Indonesia) which in the past was used to maintain economic sovereignty in the early independence.The building of the museum was originally an ink warehouse of Perum Peruri. Museum Reksa Artha is one of the many museums in Indonesia with low number of visitors. The museum is often closed and so appointments should be made before visiting the museum.
