Seven Park Place

The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a not-for-profit members' organisation with international headquarters in its clubhouse in central London, England. Founded by Sir Evelyn Wrench in 1910 as the Over-Seas Club, it was given a Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1922 and Queen Elizabeth II granted the title "Royal" to mark its golden jubilee in 1960.The league today is both an association of individual members and a supporter of Commonwealth art, music and welfare projects. The ROSL clubhouse in Edinburgh closed in January 2018, but ROSL continues to have a national and international presence from honorary representatives, a network of branches and reciprocal clubs in more than 100 countries.

The Primrose Club was a short-lived political London gentlemen's club founded in 1886 and located at 4-5 Park Place, St. James's. It was aligned to the Conservative party, with members having to pledge support. It was launched as a bid to combine the explosion of the popularity of clubs in London at the end of the nineteenth century with the phenomenal success of the Conservative-aligned Primrose League. At first it proved highly successful, with Whitaker's Almanack reporting 6,500 members, but within a decade this had already shrunk to 5,500, and by 1910 it had just 350 members, and was disbanded shortly afterwards.

The Stafford is a five star hotel in St James's Place in London, England. Built in the 17th century CE, its wine cellars may be the oldest in London. Previously used as private residences, the buildings were opened as a hotel in 1912. Allied soldiers used them as air raid shelters during the Second World War.Numbers 16-18 St James's Place were built as private residences in the 17th Century. With the addition of number 18 in 1912, the block of houses was converted into the Stafford Hotel. Since its founding, the hotel has passed through several ownership groups and undergone a major renovation.

The Royal Ocean Racing Club is a club in London with a further clubhouse and office in Cowes, Isle of Wight. It was established in 1925 as the Ocean Racing Club, as a result of a race to the Fastnet Rock from Cowes, finishing in Plymouth. It received royal approval by King George V in November 1931 since when it has been known as the Royal Ocean Racing Club. The RORC is the principal organiser of offshore yacht races in the United Kingdom, including the Fastnet Race, the RORC Caribbean 600, the RORC Transatlantic Race and the quadrennial Round Britain and Ireland Yacht Race. It was also the organiser of the Admiral's Cup and the Commodores' Cup. RORC was founded to encourage long distance yacht racing and the design, building and navigation of sailing vessels in which speed and seaworthiness are combined.In co-operation with the French offshore racing club, UNCL, RORC is responsible for IRC, the principal international handicap system for yacht racing.

Le Caprice was a restaurant in London's St James's area famous for being frequented by celebrities. It was originally opened by Marco Gallati in 1947 at 20 Arlington St. Famous patrons included Princess Diana.It closed in 2020. Its owners plan to reopen it in a new location.

Arlington is a restaurant located at 20 Arlington Street in London's St James's area. Between 1947 and 2020 the building was occupied by Le Caprice, formerly run by Jeremy King and his then business partner Chris Corbin. It has been described as an 'unabashedly sentimental remastering of Le Caprice' with a similar menu and interior. It launched on 11 March 2024, following a soft opening during the week prior. Giles Coren, writing in The Times, described the food as 'sort of stuff that you really can eat every day'.

The St James's Hotel and Club is a hotel at 7-8, Park Place, St. James's, London SW1A 1LP and is part of Pakistani multinational conglomerate Nishat Group, owned by Mian Mohammad Mansha.The hotel has fifty-six rooms and twelve suites, many of which have their own terraces, plus a penthouse with a party deck for sixty people.

26 St James's Place is a grade II* listed block of flats in St James's Place, St James's, London W1. The block of eight flats was built in 1959–60, and designed by Denys Lasdun and Partners, with Alexander Redhouse as the partner in charge, and Graham Lane, Lyall Anderson and Maya Hambly as assistant architects, and Ove Arup and Partners as the engineers. It is built with reinforced concrete clad with Baveno grey granite and white vitreous mosaic on the soffits.In 1960, it was awarded the RIBA London Architecture Bronze Medal.It replaced a house built in about 1692, and destroyed by German bombing in World War II. Notable residents included Sir John Harpur, and Lieutenant-General Sir John Cope, who demolished it in 1745 and built a larger house, where he lived until his death in 1760. Later occupants included Richard Rigby, Richard Vernon, Robert Smith, 1st Baron Carrington, who extended the house, and the Dowager Lady Arden.

Wimbourne House (also known as Wimborne House or the William Kent House) is a historic townhouse at 22 Arlington Street in St James's, a district of the City of Westminster in central London, England. Designed in the Neo-Palladian style by William Kent, it was built between 1743 and 1754, being completed after the architect's death. It is a Grade II* listed building, and the west front overlooks Green Park. The building now houses special event rooms for the adjacent Ritz Hotel.

Pratt's is a gentlemen's club in London. It was established in 1857, with premises in a house in Park Place, off St James's Street, and close to the Ritz London.

The Diana Fountain, also known as Diana of the Treetops, is a fountain and statue of Diana by Estcourt J Clack that stands in Green Park. The park and statue are in the City of Westminster in central London.The statue was a gift of the Constance Fund, which had been established by artist Sigismund Goetze to gift sculptures to London parks in memory of his wife. Sigismund pre-deceased his wife in 1939 and she administered the Constance Fund until her death in 1951, commissioning a number of sculptures in his memory. Constance Goetze was approached by the Ministry of Works in April 1950 with a view to securing financial support from the Fund to replace a fountain in Green Park by Sydney Smirke that was deemed beyond repair. Following an exchange of letters the Fund in June 1950 the fund agreed their support and a competition was organised with Sir William Reed Dick assisting the Fund in selecting a successful winner.Six sculptors took part in the competition: Maurice Lambert, Harold Dow, Siegfried Charoux, Geoffrey Hampton Deeley, Escourt J.Clack and Hamish Macpherson. In October 1951 it was announced that Clack, a teacher at Blundell's School in Devon, had won. The statue was presented to Sir David Eccles, the Minister of Works, by Constance's niece, Countess May Cippico, on behalf of the Fund on 30 June 1952.From 1952 until 2011, the statue stood in the centre of the park, on the site of the earlier fountain it had replaced. In 2011, Clack's statue was removed from that site, restored with the addition of some gilding and was then placed to form the centrepiece of a new entrance that gives direct access to the park from Green Park Underground station.

The Representative of Bermuda in London is the diplomatic mission of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda in the United Kingdom. It is located in a multi-use office building in St James's. Unlike most diplomatic missions there is no flag or plaque indicating its existence, only a small label on the door-buzzer.
