Stockholes Turbary is a hamlet and nature reserve on the Isle of Axholme in the parish of Belton in North Lincolnshire unitary area of Lincolnshire, England. It is also close to the former Sandtoft Airfield and the village of Westgate.

Belshaw is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Lincolnshire, England. It lies to the west of the village of Belton in the Isle of Axholme. The site, which was designated a SSSI in 1988, is a short length of land along a disused railway line and is important because it supports a colony of greater yellow-rattle. This is a nationally rare plant which receives special protection under Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981. Once widely distributed, this species is now known to occur at only six localities in Great Britain.

Within the parish is the now dispersed country house estate of Temple Belwood. Hirst Priory at Sandtoft still stands. According to the 1991 Census, Belton had a population of 2,549, increasing to 2,968 at the 2011 census.

Hirst Priory is an 18th-century country house in Belton on the Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. The current house was built on the site of a 12th-century Augustinian priory (Hirst Priory).Hirst Priory served as a family residence first for the Stovin family, and later for the Lister family in the 19th century. In 1903, the property was purchased by D. Stubley for £18,000. In the early 1990s, a development group purchased Hirst Priory in order to develop a hotel and leisure complex, but these plans were abandoned. In 2014, Hirst Priory was converted to a wedding and events venue, with renovation work carried out to ensure the preservation of the Grade II listed building.
