Sursoptok Underpass (Bengali: সুরসপ্তক আন্ডারপাস) is a pedestrian underpass located in Bangladesh. It is one of the four underpasses in Dhaka. The underpass with 15 meter high, 135 meters long, 5 meters, four 42 meter long tunnels is currently the largest underpass in Bangladesh. Prior to its construction, Gulistan underpass was the largest underpass in the country.

Shaheed Bir Bikrom Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College is a school and university college in Dhaka, Bangladesh, adjacent to Sursoptok underpass. It is managed by the Bangladesh Army and primarily for the children of Army personnel. Pupils from the civilian section also can study in this college.

Armed Forces Medical Institute (AFMI) is the premier educational institute of the Army Medical Corps of Bangladesh Army. The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a military medical school in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is run by the Armed Forces of Bangladesh, under the Ministry of Defense of Bangladesh. A major general of Bangladesh Army's Medical Corps is the Commandant of the college.

Dhaka Cantonment railway station is a railway station located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is notable as one of the termini of the Bangladesh-India Maitree Express international passenger train service. The station is located in its namesake Dhaka Cantonment, Cantonment Thana, in the north of Dhaka. The station is near the Shahjalal International Airport (however the airport has its own station).

Combined Military Hospital (Dhaka) or CMH is a hospital located in Dhaka Cantonment. It is part of the Combined Military Hospital chain situated in all cantonments of Bangladesh. Cantonmen Thana (Bengali: ক্যান্টনমেন্ট) is a Thana of Dhaka district in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It includes the Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters and the Air Force Headquarters. Cantonment Thana was formed in 1976.

Baridhara Scholars Institution was established on 1 January 2001. It follows the Edexcel curriculum, and is located in Baridhara DOHS. The school is run by the commandant of Dhaka Cantonment board. Dhaka Cantonment (Bengali: ঢাকা সেনানিবাস) is a cantonment located in the northern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The headquarters of the Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force are situated within the cantonment which combined form the Armed Forces of Bangladesh. Airport Road (Bengali: বিমানবন্দর সড়ক), also known as Tongi Diversion Road, a part of the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway (N3), is an 8-lane major artery road in Dhaka, that connects Dhaka city, with the Shahjalal International Airport. It is also the main artery that connects Dhaka with the northern suburb of Uttara and the only road that connects Dhaka with northern Districts of Bangladesh and vice versa. Traffic is fairly smooth throughout the road, due to flyovers and interchanges.
