Armed Forces Medical Institute

Combined Military Hospital (Dhaka) or CMH is a hospital located in Dhaka Cantonment. It is part of the Combined Military Hospital chain situated in all cantonments of Bangladesh. CMH has also promoted doctors who have continued to work as military officials, even after retiring or relocating due to family man. Brigadier General Jamil Ahmed, BSP, MPhil, MPH, is the Commandant (Director) and Brigadier General Md Abdur Razzak is Chief Physician of this hospital.

Shaheed Bir Bikrom Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College is a school and university college in Dhaka, Bangladesh, adjacent to Sursoptok underpass. It is managed by the Bangladesh Army and primarily for the children of Army personnel. Pupils from the civilian section also can study in this college.

Sursoptok Underpass (Bengali: সুরসপ্তক আন্ডারপাস) is a pedestrian underpass located in Bangladesh. It is one of the four underpasses in Dhaka. The underpass with 15 meter high, 135 meters long, 5 meters, four 42 meter long tunnels is currently the largest underpass in Bangladesh. Prior to its construction, Gulistan underpass was the largest underpass in the country.

The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a military medical school in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is run by the Armed Forces of Bangladesh, under the Ministry of Defense of Bangladesh. A major general of Bangladesh Army's Medical Corps is the Commandant of the college.

The Bangladesh Army Stadium (formerly the Ershad Army Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and hosts the home sport matches of the Bangladesh Army. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000. In 2021 Pandemic, this stadium used for Covid testing venue, for the people going abroad.

Dhaka Cantonment railway station is a railway station located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is notable as one of the termini of the Bangladesh-India Maitree Express international passenger train service. The station is located in its namesake Dhaka Cantonment, Cantonment Thana, in the north of Dhaka. The station is near the Shahjalal International Airport (however the airport has its own station).

Baridhara Scholars Institution was established on 1 January 2001. It follows the Edexcel curriculum, and is located in Baridhara DOHS. The school is run by the commandant of Dhaka Cantonment board. After the Principal change in 2018, The institution was renamed as Baridhara Scholars' International School & College (BSISC). It is situated at Baridhara DOHS in Dhaka-1206. It has classes from Nursery to Class XII.
