Hakdong Park (Korean: 학동공원) is a public park in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. It first opened on January 15, 1985, and has an area of 29,947 square meters (322,350 sq ft).The park is a ten-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sinsa station.

The Nonhyeon-dong massacre was a mass murder that occurred in the Gangnam-gu ward of Seoul, South Korea on October 20, 2008, when 30-year-old Jeong Sang-jin (정상진) set fire in a goshiwon and slashed several women with a sashimi knife. A total of six people died in the incident and seven more were injured. Jeong was sentenced to death on May 12, 2009.

Nonhyeon Station is an underground metro station on Seoul Subway Line 7 located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It will become a transfer station to the Shinbundang Line in a planned extension.

Hak-dong Station (Korean: 학동역) is a rapid transit station on Seoul Subway Line 7. It is located in Nonhyeon-dong in the Gangnam-gu administrative district of Seoul. The area around the station was known as Hak-dong prior to 1982 and Hakdong intersection sits at the west end of the station. Nine buses service the station through 10 exits. The station services Nonhyeon 1-dong and Nonhyeon 2-dong. This station cannot be crossed in the opposite direction because the turnstiles are divided by direction.

The Museum of Korean Embroidery is a museum in Seoul, South Korea. It originally opened in 1976 and moved to its current location in the Nonhyeong-dong neighborhood of Gangnam in 1991. The museum holds several national treasures and has loaned pieces for traveling exhibits.

Solbam (Korean: 솔밤), stylized as SOLBAM, is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It first opened in 2021, and serves contemporary Korean cuisine. It received one Michelin Star from 2023 through 2024. The Korea Herald rated it the best restaurant in Seoul in 2022. The restaurant first opened in Gangnam District. It relocated to a different space and reopened on February 17, 2024. The restaurant's owner-chef is Eom Taejun (엄태준). Eom graduated from a culinary school in South Korea, then attended the The Culinary Institute of America beginning in 2013. He worked at the restaurant Eleven Madison Park. After he returned to Korea, he founded Solbam. The restaurant earned a Michelin Star just a year after its opening. The restaurant is named for an area in Andong in North Gyeongsang Province. The restaurant is reportedly themed after a quiet forest in the area at nighttime. By 2024, it only operated a dinner service; each dinner reportedly lasts around 3 to 4 hours.

Sinnonhyeon Station is a railway station on Line 9 of the Seoul Subway located by the Kyobo Tower sageori in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was the southern terminus of Line 9 from 2009 to March 2015, when the line was extended to Sports Complex station. Gangnam Station and Nonhyeon Station are near here. It will become a transfer station to the Shinbundang Line in 2022. The section of Gangnam Boulevard from exit No.5 of this station to exit No.2 of Gangnam Station of Line 2 is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Gangnam District office.

Soigné (lit. 'well-groomed'; Korean: 스와니예) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It serves contemporary cuisine, and first opened in 2015. It received one Michelin star from the first year the guide was offered in Seoul in 2017 through 2022. In 2023 and 2024 it received two Michelin stars.

The Simone Handbag Museum in Seoul, South Korea, is a museum dedicated to handbags. 300 bags are on display at the museum, dating from 1550 to the present day.The museum is divided into two halves, Twentieth Century and Contemporary, and Historic (1500–1900). The museum opened on 19 July 2012 in Seoul's Gangnam District, in a building resembling a handbag. The collection was established by Kenny Park, founder and CEO of Simone Handbags, and was assembled and curated by Judith Clark, Professor of Fashion and Museology at the London College of Fashion. The collection was assembled at a cost of £1 million. Most of the handbags are European in origin, with some contemporary bags from the United States. Bespoke mannequins at the museum have been designed to draw the visitors' attention to the bags on display. Two of the mannequins were designed by the milliner Stephen Jones.The museum is housed in a 10-story building called Bagstage. Bagstage also incorporates a shop selling bag materials, workshops where new Korean designers can work rent-free, a section where craftsmen will produce bags and two shops.

Eonju Station is a Seoul Metropolitan Subway station on Line 9. It opened in March 2015.

Kukkiwon (Korean: 국기원; Hanja: 國技院), also known as World Taekwondo Headquarters, and home of the World Taekwondo Academy, is where the official taekwondo governing organization was established by the South Korean government. It is supervised by the International Sports Division of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Hyundai Senior High School (Korean: 현대고등학교; Hanja: 現代高等學校) is a private high school located in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The school was established by Hyundai Group (현대그룹), and the founder is Chung Ju-yung (정주영). The school acquired establishment permission on April 29, 1978, and opened in 1985.
