The Yusof Ishak Mosque (Malay: Masjid Yusof Ishak) is a mosque in Woodlands, Singapore. It was announced by Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong during the 2013 National Day Rally The mosque is located at 10 Woodlands Drive 17, Singapore 737740. The mosque is named after Singapore's first President, Yusof Ishak.The mosque officially opened to public on 14 April 2017 by the former President's widow, Madam Noor Aisha, witnessed by guests including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Yaacob Ibrahim.

Christ Church Secondary School (CHR) is a co-educational government-aided secondary school located in Woodlands, Singapore, next to the Singapore Sports School and Woodlands South MRT station. Affiliated with Saint Andrew's Junior College, CHR was first established in 1952 at Dorset Road as a private institution, eventually becoming a government-aided school in 2002.

Woodlands South MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Woodlands, Singapore. Serving the Thomson–East Coast line (TEL), it is underneath Woodlands Avenue 1. The station is near Christ Church Secondary School, Yusof Ishak Mosque and the Singapore Sports School. The station will also serve the Woodlands Health Campus. First announced in August 2012 as part of the Thomson line (TSL), the station was constructed as part of TEL Phase 1 (TEL 1) after plans for the TSL and the Eastern Region line (ERL) were merged. Along with the TEL 1 stations, Woodlands South station opened on 31 January 2020. The two-level underground station is designed by Aedas and has five entrances. The station features an Art-in-Transit artwork 3652 + 50 by Kng Mian Tze.

Mandai Depot (Malay: Depot Mandai; Chinese: 万礼车厂) is an integrated train and bus depot located in Mandai, Singapore. The train depot serves as the maintenance and control centre of the Thomson-East Coast line while the bus depot is used for the Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package.The facility is located on a 32 ha (79 acres) site bounded by Mandai Road, Seletar Expressway and Lorong Lada Hitam, on the former site of Orchidville.The depot is located between Woodlands station and Springleaf station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and has three reception tracks: one track northbound towards Woodlands station and two tracks southbound towards Springleaf station.

Singapore Sports School (SSP) is a specialised independent boarding school and statutory board under the purview of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth of the Government of Singapore that offers an integrated sports and academic programme to secondary and post-secondary students in Singapore.

Innova Junior College (IJC) (Chinese: 星烁初级学院) was a government co-educational junior college located in Woodlands, Singapore, offering two-year pre-university courses leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level examination. Innova Junior College was merged into Yishun Innova Junior College in 2019.

The Woodlands Regional Library (WRL; Chinese: 兀兰区域图书馆; Malay: Perpustakaan Wilayah Woodlands) is a regional public library in Woodlands in the North Region of Singapore. It is located within the premises of the Woodlands Civic Centre, near Causeway Point, Woodlands Bus Interchange and Woodlands MRT station. The library has a floor space of 11,100 square metres and currently has 540,000 items in its collection.

Woodlands ( (listen)) is a planning area and residential town located in the North of Singapore. As of 2019, the town has a population of 254,733. It is the densest planning area and is the regional centre for the North Region of the country. The Woodlands planning area borders Sembawang to the east, Mandai to the south and Sungei Kadut to the west. Woodlands New Town, which was developed during the 1980s, is situated within the Woodlands planning area. Woodlands also serves as one of the two land border connections on the Singaporean side between the countries of Singapore and Malaysia, called the Johor–Singapore Causeway, the other being the Tuas Second Link at Tuas.

Causeway Point is the seventh largest suburban shopping mall in Singapore. It is operated by Frasers Property. Causeway Point is located in the town centre of Woodlands, a town in the North of Singapore. Completed in 1998, it is located beside the Woodlands MRT station and the underground Woodlands Bus Interchange. It has 250 retail outlets spread over five floors and a basement.

Woodlands MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the North South (NSL) and Thomson–East Coast (TEL) lines in Singapore. Located in Woodlands, the MRT station was the first to feature an underground bus interchange underneath the NSL station. The station is also integrated with surrounding developments, including Causeway Point and the Woodlands Civic Centre. The NSL station was first announced in November 1991 as part of the Woodlands MRT extension. Completed on 10 February 1996, the elevated station has a circular, barrel-like roof with beige and green tiles. Min Chan's Faces II sculpture is displayed near the station. With the opening of TEL Stage 1 on 31 January 2020, Woodlands station became an interchange station with the TEL. Designated as a Civil Defence Shelter, the TEL platforms have a brown, grey and green scheme designed to be spacious and well-lit. Woodlands Bus Interchange (formerly Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange) is a bus interchange in Singapore. Located at Woodlands, the interchange is linked to Woodlands MRT station and adjacent to Causeway Point shopping mall. It is the largest and among the busiest bus interchange in Singapore. The interchange is also known as Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub.

Mandai Road (Chinese: 万礼路) is a major road located in Mandai, in the northern area of Singapore. The road starts from Woodlands Road and ends at the junction of Sembawang Road and Upper Thomson Road. The road was built in 1855 in a jungle and appeared in the Franklin and Jackson Plan of Singapore (1828) as a river indicated as "R. Mandi". It has been said the name of the road comes from a tree known as the "Mandai tree". As the road is the main access to the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, it is common to refer to the zoos collectively as the "Mandai Zoo". The Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium is also located in the area, and is the resting places for those honourable leaders, such as Lee Kuan Yew, the former and first Prime Minister of Singapore. Mandai Road is one of the heritage road in Singapore.
