The Ukrainian American Archives and Museum of Detroit, founded 1958, is a museum focused on Ukrainian immigration to the Detroit area, and Ukrainian culture, art, and contributions to the United States. The collections include Ukrainian art, crafts, musical instruments, textiles and photographs. The archive holdings relate to Ukrainian immigration and the library contains 20,000 books. Classes are given in English as a second language and Ukrainian folk arts and embroidery. The museum is located at 11756 Charest St., Hamtramck, Michigan.

Hamtramck Disneyland is a yard art folk art located in Hamtramck, Michigan begun by a man named Dmytro Szylak. Hamtramck Disneyland was started in 1992 and came to be finished in 1999. It is built on a 30-foot backyard on top of two adjacent garages. Dmytro was born in Ukraine, and also once lived in Germany. After immigrating to the United States, he worked for General Motors, but soon after his retirement he felt the need to find a hobby. Dmytro began piling together different objects—some old, some new, and some bought, while others were hand crafted. This towering structure stands tall above his house and garage. Over the course of 12 years, Dmytro continued to add different pieces to his work, which eventually grew to be a collage.

Al-Islah Mosque (Bengali: আল-ইসলাহ জামে মসজিদ), also known as the Al-Islah Islamic Center or the Al-Islah Jame Masjid, is a mosque following the Sunni tradition in Hamtramck, Michigan. It was founded in 2000 by immigrants from Bangladesh, of which a large community exists in Hamtramck. Al-Islah Mosque is currently expanding to a bigger building next door.

Hamtramck High School is a public high school in Hamtramck, Michigan, United States in Metro Detroit. It is a part of Hamtramck Public Schools.

Planet Ant is a non-profit artist community housed in a three-story tenement in Hamtramck, Michigan. The community has several branches, including a record label, a theatre company, an improv colony and a film production company. Planet Ant is a valuable example of an artist incubator where young actors, directors, sound designers, and stage managers practice their craft as they audition for more prestigious jobs. In the area of Detroit culture, at least five actors in major roles can trace their beginning to Planet Ant. Planet Ant also hosts one of two vital, international film festivals in the Southwestern Michigan region, the second being Detroit Docs. The concern has operated since 1996 and has won support from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs.

St. Ladislaus High School was a coeducational Catholic high school in Hamtramck, Michigan. It opened in 1921 and was run by the Sisters of St. Francis (Sylvania, Ohio). The school closed in 1981.

The Elizabeth Cleveland Intermediate School, also known as Elizabeth Cleveland Middle School, is a historic building located at 13322 Conant Street in Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The school is an excellent example of Collegiate Gothic style, with no alteration to its exterior since construction. The building is still in use as a school, and now houses Frontier International Academy.

The Joseph Campau Historic District is a commercial historic district located along Joseph Campau Street in Hamtramck, Michigan. The district runs from roughly Holbrook and Lehman Streets on the south to Pulaski and Casmere Streets on the north. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Hamtramck ( ham-TRAM-ik) is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. An enclave of Detroit, Hamtramck is located roughly 5 miles (8.0 km) north of downtown Detroit, and is surrounded by Detroit on most sides. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 28,433, and was by far the most densely populated municipality in Michigan. It is notable as the only Muslim-majority city in the United States.Known in the 20th century as a vibrant center of Polish-American life and culture, Hamtramck has attracted new immigrants in the 21st century, especially from Yemen, Bangladesh and Pakistan. In 2013, it reportedly became the first Muslim-majority city in the U.S. In 2015, Hamtramck became the first city to have a Muslim-majority city council in the history of the United States, with four of the six council members being Muslim.

St. Florian Church is a Roman Catholic Church at 2626 Poland Street in Hamtramck, Michigan. The church was designed by Ralph Adams Cram of the firm Cram and Ferguson.

Buddy's Pizza is an independent pizza restaurant chain based in Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 1946, the company has an annual revenue of US $30 million. The chain's 23 restaurants have over 700 employees. Buddy's has been called one of the five best pizzerias in the United States by the Food Network. It has a bocce ball league that plays every Saturday morning at its original Conant Street location.

The Highland Park Chrysler Plant, located in Detroit, was the original headquarters campus of the Chrysler Corporation, which was originally the Brush Motor Car Company factory location until through a series of acquisitions, became the property of Chrysler. It was the location of research and development, and at one time, the location of a wind tunnel that was used to develop the Chrysler Airflow and other subsequent models like the Chrysler Turbine Car. It was closed when Chrysler moved into their current Chrysler World Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Metro Detroit, Michigan in 1996.The address was at 12000 Chrysler Service Drive. It was off the Chrysler Freeway (I-75) and Davison Freeway (Route 8), with Brush Street one block away, and predated the formation of Chrysler Corporation itself. The facility was used to improve product development efficiency, increase the ease of inter-departmental collaboration, and create a more satisfying workplace. It was approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) southeast from the Highland Park Ford Plant. It was approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of the former Dodge Factory in Hamtramck, Michigan, and 5 miles (8.0 km) northwest of the Jefferson North Assembly. It was the assembly location of the Chrysler Imperial Airflow, Chrysler Airflow, and the DeSoto Airflow from 1934 until 1937 on a dedicated factory assembly. The facility was demolished and reclaimed and is now the location of several businesses. Chrysler still maintains a presence at the former campus called FCA Detroit Office Warehouse.
