Hamtramck Disneyland is a yard art folk art located in Hamtramck, Michigan begun by a man named Dmytro Szylak. Hamtramck Disneyland was started in 1992 and came to be finished in 1999. It is built on a 30-foot backyard on top of two adjacent garages. Dmytro was born in Ukraine, and also once lived in Germany. After immigrating to the United States, he worked for General Motors, but soon after his retirement he felt the need to find a hobby. Dmytro began piling together different objects—some old, some new, and some bought, while others were hand crafted. This towering structure stands tall above his house and garage. Over the course of 12 years, Dmytro continued to add different pieces to his work, which eventually grew to be a collage.

Hamtramck High School is a public high school in Hamtramck, Michigan, United States in Metro Detroit. It is a part of Hamtramck Public Schools.

Al-Islah Mosque (Bengali: আল-ইসলাহ জামে মসজিদ), also known as the Al-Islah Islamic Center or the Al-Islah Jame Masjid, is a mosque following the Sunni tradition in Hamtramck, Michigan. It was founded in 2000 by immigrants from Bangladesh, of which a large community exists in Hamtramck. Al-Islah Mosque is currently expanding to a bigger building next door.

St. Ladislaus High School was a coeducational Catholic high school in Hamtramck, Michigan. It opened in 1921 and was run by the Sisters of St. Francis (Sylvania, Ohio). The school closed in 1981.

The Joseph Campau Historic District is a commercial historic district located along Joseph Campau Street in Hamtramck, Michigan. The district runs from roughly Holbrook and Lehman Streets on the south to Pulaski and Casmere Streets on the north. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Elizabeth Cleveland Intermediate School, also known as Elizabeth Cleveland Middle School, is a historic building located at 13322 Conant Street in Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The school is an excellent example of Collegiate Gothic style, with no alteration to its exterior since construction. The building is still in use as a school, and now houses Frontier International Academy.

Planet Ant is a non-profit artist community housed in a three-story tenement in Hamtramck, Michigan. The community has several branches, including a record label, a theatre company, an improv colony and a film production company. Planet Ant is a valuable example of an artist incubator where young actors, directors, sound designers, and stage managers practice their craft as they audition for more prestigious jobs. In the area of Detroit culture, at least five actors in major roles can trace their beginning to Planet Ant. Planet Ant also hosts one of two vital, international film festivals in the Southwestern Michigan region, the second being Detroit Docs. The concern has operated since 1996 and has won support from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs.

Hamtramck ( ham-TRAM-ik) is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. An enclave of Detroit, Hamtramck is located roughly 5 miles (8.0 km) north of downtown Detroit, and is surrounded by Detroit on most sides. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 28,433, and was by far the most densely populated municipality in Michigan. It is notable as the only Muslim-majority city in the United States.Known in the 20th century as a vibrant center of Polish-American life and culture, Hamtramck has attracted new immigrants in the 21st century, especially from Yemen, Bangladesh and Pakistan. In 2013, it reportedly became the first Muslim-majority city in the U.S. In 2015, Hamtramck became the first city to have a Muslim-majority city council in the history of the United States, with four of the six council members being Muslim.

St. Florian Church is a Roman Catholic Church at 2626 Poland Street in Hamtramck, Michigan. The church was designed by Ralph Adams Cram of the firm Cram and Ferguson.

Buddy's Pizza is an independent pizza restaurant chain based in Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 1946, the company has an annual revenue of US $30 million. The chain's 23 restaurants have over 700 employees. Buddy's has been called one of the five best pizzerias in the United States by the Food Network. It has a bocce ball league that plays every Saturday morning at its original Conant Street location.

Hamtramck Public Schools (HPS) is a public school district based in the city of Hamtramck, Michigan (USA) in Greater Detroit. The district has the Schools of Choice program, which allows non-district students to enroll in district schools.As of 2011 the official graduation rate is 62%. In 2011 the United Way for Southeastern Michigan arranged a program, funded by a $27.1 million General Motors Foundation grant, intended to improve the graduation rate.

Keyworth Stadium is a 7,933 seat multi-purpose stadium located in Hamtramck, Michigan, an enclave of Detroit. It was opened by former president Franklin Delano Roosevelt on October 15, 1936, during his second campaign for president. Keyworth was the first Works Progress Administration project in the state of Michigan. Democratic Senator John F. Kennedy spoke at Keyworth Stadium during his successful 1960 presidential campaign.The stadium is owned by Hamtramck Public Schools and it is currently used mostly for soccer and American football matches. The professional soccer club Detroit City FC initiated a crowd-based investment program to renovate and rehabilitate the stadium, intending to move their home games to the stadium in 2016. On February 5, 2016, Detroit City owners announced that they had successfully raised the minimum $400,000 to begin renovations, with the investment drive topping off at $741,250 by the midnight deadline on February 15, 2016.The club played their first game at their new home on May 20, 2016.DCFC set a new club attendance record of 7,887 in a 0–10 loss to Serie A side Frosinone Calcio on July 31, 2018. On September 11, 2020, the National Independent Soccer Association announced that Keyworth Stadium would host the 2020 NISA Fall Playoffs. The tournament took place behind closed doors owing to the then on-going COVID-19 pandemic in Michigan.
