Sacramento Union Traction Depot

The Sacramento Masonic Temple, built between 1913 and 1918, is a five-story building on J Street in downtown Sacramento, California. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.Since 1918, the Masonic Temple has hosted numerous events from weddings to family celebrations, meetings and Conferences to product launches. It is considered one of the most intact architectural period pieces in downtown Sacramento, California. It has an 8,000 square feet (740 m2) room which can accommodate up to 499 guests for a sit-down meal.

12th & I station is an at-grade light rail station on the Blue Line of the Sacramento RT Light Rail system operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. The station is located alongside 12th Street at its intersection with I Street, after which the station is named, in the city of Sacramento, California. Due to the tracks running in both directions on a one-way thoroughfare (12th Street is one-way southbound), wheelchair users can only access northbound trains from the adjacent curbside platform. The stops are located adjacent to the former Sacramento Union Station, where Sacramento Northern Railroad interchanged with Central California Traction Company interurban services.

The Cal/EPA Building is a 25-floor, 372 ft commercial office skyscraper in Downtown Sacramento that serves as the headquarters for the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA). It also known as the Joe Serna Jr. Building, named to honor the late mayor of Sacramento, Joe Serna Jr. Built in 2000, the building stands 372 feet tall and sits across the street from Cesar Chavez Plaza and Sacramento City Hall. It has a daily population of 3,500. It is recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as one of the most energy-efficient high-rise office buildings in the United States, with a score of 96 out of 100. In 2003, it was recognized by Energy Star as the most energy-efficient high-rise in the nation. Solar panels are installed that generate electricity soundlessly for the building.

Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF) is a libertarian public interest law firm in the United States. PLF was established for the purpose of defending and promoting individual and economic freedom in the courts. To that end, PLF attorneys provide pro bono legal representation to clients, file amicus curiae briefs, and participate in administrative proceedings with the goal of supporting property rights, equality before the law, freedom of speech and association, economic liberty, and separation of powers. They have represented clients in 14 cases before the United States Supreme Court, which are listed below. PLF is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It does not charge for legal services, but instead is funded by donations from individuals (53%), foundations (17%), and associations, small businesses and corporations (17%). Except for court-awarded attorney fees for case victories, the organization receives no money from government.The organization was founded in 1973, making it the first and oldest libertarian public interest law firm.

Esquire Tower, also known as Esquire Plaza, is a 322-foot (98 m) 248,816 square foot office building in downtown Sacramento, California. The Esquire IMAX Theater as well as a restaurant are located on the ground level of Esquire Plaza.

The University of Northern California, Lorenzo Patiño School of Law (UNC) was a private law school located in Sacramento, California. UNC offered a part-time, four-year law program as well as a paralegal program. Law school registration was terminated during the June 28–29, 2013 meeting of the State Bar. As of June 30, 2013, UNC was no longer listed as a law school by the State Bar of California Committee of Bar Examiners and the University of Northern California's website removed the listing of the Juris Doctor as one of its academic programs.

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento, in Sacramento, capital of the state of California. The cathedral holds the diocesan bishop’s throne or “cathedra”, which represents the bishop's teaching authority over his flock. The present ordinary of the Diocese of Sacramento is Jaime Soto, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. The cathedral is located downtown at the intersection of 11th and K Streets. The cathedral is considered both a religious and civic landmark. The diocese stretches from the southern edge of Sacramento County north to the Oregon border and serves approximately 1,000,000 Catholics. The diocese encompasses 102 churches in a 42,000 square mile region. The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is one of the largest cathedrals west of the Mississippi River. Because of its size, it has sometimes been used as the site of final funeral Masses for former governors of California, most recently that of Pat Brown in 1996.

Sacramento City Hall is a five-story, 267,000-square-foot building that combines modern and historic structures in Sacramento, California. The building can house up to 730 staff members. Prominent local architect Rudolph A. Herold designed the building in 1908. Completed in 1909, the building is located at 915 I Street. Sacramento City Hall went through a major $11 million restoration from 2003 to 2005. The restoration was part of an overall $60 million civic center project with city hall as the cornerstone. Another part of the civic center project was the construction of underground parking garage for 170 cars. Sacramento City Hall now houses all of the city's significant municipal functions.

The Charles Lais House is a historic home built in 1896, located in Sacramento, California. It is designed in the Queen Anne style. It was commissioned by Charles Lais, an employee of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The third floor was used as a rooming house and the family occupied the house until his death c. 1930. A fire in 1980 destroyed the back end of the house and 50 percent of the roof. It was restored in 1982.
