Southfleet (also known as Southfleet for Springhead) was a railway station on the Gravesend West Line which served the small village of Southfleet in Kent, England.

Northfleet School for Girls is a high school for girls, located in Northfleet in the English county of Kent.The school first opened in March 1937 in a new building next to Northfleet School for Boys in Colyer Road. In 1950 The Upper School moved to the current school site in Hall Road in 1950, with the rest of the school following in 1955. that the whole school was able to move to the new buildings. Building work for the South Wing of the school were started in 1971.It is a foundation school administered by Kent County Council, who coordinate admissions. As a foundation school, it is supported by a Cooperative Learning Trust which includes The Co-operative Group, Age UK, North West Kent College, the University of Greenwich and the Workers' Educational Association as partners.Northfleet School for Girls offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A Levels and further BTECs.

Ebbsfleet International railway station (IATA: XQE) is in Ebbsfleet Valley, Kent, 10 miles (16 kilometres) east of London, England, near Dartford and the Bluewater shopping centre to the west and Gravesend to the east. The station, part of the Thames Gateway urban regeneration project, is on the High Speed 1 rail line, 400 metres (1,300 feet) south-west of Northfleet railway station, off the A2 trunk road, 5 mi (8.0 km) from its junction with the M25 motorway. It served as a primary park-and-rail service for the London 2012 Olympics. Ebbsfleet International is owned by HS1 Ltd, which operates the High Speed 1 railway and St Pancras railway station, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International.

Northfleet railway station serves the town of Northfleet in the Borough of Gravesham in Kent, England. It is 21 miles 69 chains (35.2 km) down the line from London Charing Cross. Train services are operated by Southeastern and Thameslink. The ticket office located on platform 2, on the 'down' side, is situated in the substantial station building. This is staffed between 06:00 - 10:00 Monday to Friday; at other times a ticket machine can be found outside the entrance, accepting card and contactless payments only. There is no step-free access to platform 1 on the 'up' side. A foot tunnel connects the two platforms. The station is very close to Ebbsfleet International station (the NNE entrance is only 334 yards (305 m) from Northfleet's station), but passengers (using public transport) will find it far easier to access Ebbsfleet International from Gravesend or Greenhithe, as these stations are more accessible and offer easy access to Fastrack bus services. The walking route between the two stations is 0.6 miles (1 km) or 0.8 miles (1.3 km) and a suitable pedestrian link has not been built because of funding issues and objections from Land Securities.

Southfleet is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Dartford in Kent, England. The village is located three miles southwest of Gravesend, while the parish includes within its boundaries the hamlets of Betsham and Westwood. Southfleet takes its name from the River Fleet, a minor tributary of the River Thames. The water that supplied the river came from a place called Springhead, where there were watercress and oyster beds; the river then flowed through Southfleet, Ebbsfleet and Northfleet.

Northfleet Green is a hamlet in the borough of Gravesham in Kent, England. It is located around two miles southwest of Gravesend and just east of Southfleet in the neighbouring borough of Dartford. The High Speed 1 railway line passes just to the north of the hamlet. The population of the hamlet is included in the ward of Istead Rise.

Baker's Hole is a 6.9 hectares (17 acres) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest, mostly consisting of a back-filled quarry, adjacent to Ebbsfleet International railway station in Kent. It is a Geological Conservation Review site. It is a nationally significant site for finds during quarrying of Stone Age tools, which are now dispersed among many museums.

The Ebbsfleet Academy (formerly Swan Valley Community School) is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Swanscombe in the English county of Kent.The school converted to academy status on 1 November 2013 and was renamed The Ebbsfleet Academy. Until 2021 the school was sponsored by The Brook Learning Trust, but it was previously a community school administered by Kent County Council. However The Ebbsfleet Academy continues to coordinate with Kent County Council for admissions. It was taken on by the Leigh Academies Trust in 2021. The Ebbsfleet Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. The school is located at a community campus which includes a health centre, library and pharmacy and is adjacent to the Manor Primary School.

Ebbsfleet River in Kent, south-east England, is a tributary of the Thames Estuary. It joins the Thames at Northfleet, opposite the container port of Tilbury Docks. Today, the river gives its name to the Ebbsfleet Garden City which is currently (2020) being developed in and around the course of the Ebbsfleet.

Ebbsfleet United Football Club is a professional football club based in Northfleet, Kent, England. The club compete in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. The club was formed in 1946 from the merger of Gravesend United and Northfleet United, and was known as Gravesend & Northfleet before changing to its current name in 2007.Home matches have been played at Stonebridge Road since the club's inception. Between 2008 and 2013, the club was owned by the web-based venture MyFootballClub, whose members voted on player transfers, budgets and ticket prices among other things instead of those decisions being made exclusively by the club's management and staff as at most other clubs.
