Tanglin Community Club is a community centre on the corner of Whitley Road and Malcolm Road in Novena, Singapore.

Stevens MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown line (DTL), situated along the boundary of Novena and Tanglin planning areas, Singapore at the junction of Stevens Road and Bukit Timah Road. Located along the Bukit Timah corridor, it serves the nearby Singapore Chinese Girls' School and St. Joseph's Institution schools, as well as the Raffles Town Club and the surrounding private estates. The station opened on 27 December 2015 when the DTL stage 2 opened. A new underpass connecting to two new exits at Dunearn Road and Whitley Road opened on 23 November 2019. The upcoming Thomson–East Coast line (TEL) will interchange with the DTL at this station in the second half of 2022.

St. Joseph's Institution (SJI) is an independent Catholic boys' secondary school in Novena, Singapore. Founded in 1852 by the De La Salle Brothers, it is the first Catholic school and the third-oldest secondary school in Singapore. From 2013, SJI offers a dual-track education comprising the GCE Ordinary Level Programme (OP) and the Integrated Programme (IP) track. The IP track which leads to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), which integrates the four-year secondary education with a two-year IBDP, where IP students can proceed onto the two-year IBDP without the need to complete the O-level examinations at the end of their 4th year. The OP students will take their GCE 'O' level examinations at the end of their fourth year. Based on their O-level examination results, they can apply to continue the IBDP at SJI, or pursue courses at other junior colleges or polytechnics. The school had its first IP intake at Secondary 1 and Secondary 3 in 2013 and 2014 respectively while the first IBDP intake was in 2013. The school's current principal is Mr Justin Arul Pierre, a former cluster superintendent in the schools division, who assumed principalship in January 2022.The school's four fraternities, Fintan, Lawrence, Marcian and Michael, are named after Brother Fintan Blake, Brother Lawrence Robless, brother Marcian James Cullen and Brother Michael Noctor respectively. The school's thirteen blocks, not counting the chapel or the brothers’ quarters, are named after Julian-Nicolas Rèche, Benildus Romançon, Cyril Bertrán, the school's founder Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, Evencio Uyarra, Florencio Martín, Gabriel Drolin, Jaime Hilario Barbal, former principal Kevin Byrne, the school's first principal Liefroy Bajon, Mutien-Marie Wiaux, the Notre Dame de La Star and Salomone Leclercq.

The Former Command House is a historic building, located at Kheam Hock Road in Singapore. It was the residence of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Malaya during British colonial period.

Jacob Ballas Children's Garden is a children's garden in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Named after Joseph Ballas, the garden was the first children's garden in Asia.

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is an autonomous postgraduate school of the National University of Singapore (NUS), named after the late former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew.

The Pan Island Expressway (Abbreviated as: PIE) is the oldest and longest expressway in Singapore. It is also Singapore's longest road. The expressway runs from the East Coast Parkway near Changi Airport in the east to Tuas in the west and has a total length of 42.8 kilometres (26.6 miles). Initially conceived by the Public Works Department in the 1960s as part of road expansions for handling rising traffic volumes, work on the PIE commenced in 1964. The first section, Jalan Toa Payoh, was completed by 1969. Construction of the other segments of the expressway were carried out in the 1970s. The initial expressway, from Jalan Boon Lay to the East Coast Parkway, was completed in June 1982. The PIE was then realigned and extended further westward to Tuas between 1991 and 1993. By the 1990s, the expressway was able to handle large amounts of traffic. The expressway and the interchanges along its route were expanded in the 1990s and 2000s to alleviate traffic congestion.

Botanic Gardens MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the Downtown line and Circle line in Tanglin, Singapore, located at the junction of Bukit Timah Road and Cluny Park Road. The station is located at the northwestern corner of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, where it was named after. It is the nearest MRT station to the Bukit Timah campus of the National University of Singapore. As Bukit Brown MRT station is currently non-operational, the section of tracks between Botanic Gardens station and Caldecott MRT station is the longest between any two stations on the Circle line. Botanic Gardens station is the only currently operational MRT station in Singapore to have an official Malay name.

The Garage is a historic building in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Built in the 1920s, it currently houses the Bees Knee's cafe and the Au Balcon restaurant.

The National Biodiversity Centre (abbr.: NBC; Chinese: 国家生物多样性中心; Malay: Pusat Kepelbagaian Bio Nasional; Tamil: தேசிய பல்வகை உயிரியல் நிலையம்) is a branch of the National Parks Board and serves as Singapore's one-stop centre for biodiversity-related information and activities. It manages all available information and data on biodiversity in Singapore. Diverse biodiversity-related information and data are currently generated, stored and updated by different organisations and individuals. The National Biodiversity Centre will maximize the usefulness of such information and data by linking them in a single meta-database. Having complete and up-to-date information is crucial for many decision-making processes involving biodiversity. This hub of biodiversity information and data at the National Biodiversity Centre will also allow knowledge gaps to be better identified and addressed. The National Biodiversity Centre takes responsibility for the conservation of both terrestrial and marine flora and fauna in Singapore and represents the National Parks Board in its role as the government's scientific authority on nature conservation. The National Biodiversity Centre will also represent Singapore in various biodiversity-related international and regional conventions, including the Convention on Biological Diversity, ASEAN Center for Biodiversity, ASEAN Working Group on Nature Conservation and Biodiversity and ASEANET.

The East Asian Institute (EAI) is an autonomous research institute and think tank of the National University of Singapore (NUS), that focuses on the political, social and economic development in East and Southeast Asia. As of 2022, the institute's chairman and director are Teh Kok Peng and Bert Hofman respectively.
