InterConnection.org (IC) is an American 501(c)(3), non-profit organization headquartered in Seattle, Washington. InterConnection was established in 1999 by Charles Brennick. The organization's original focus was on developing and donating websites to non-profits in developing countries. The program soon expanded to include computer donations and technology training. In 2004 the InterConnection Computer Reuse and Learning Center opened in Seattle as a hub to serve both local and international communities.

The North Transfer Station, also known as the North Recycling and Disposal Station, is a municipal waste collection and distribution facility in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is located in the Wallingford neighborhood near Gas Works Park and is one of two transfer stations managed by Seattle Public Utilities. The original facility opened in 1968 at the site of a former city stable and garage as part of a new plan to haul garbage from Seattle to the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill rather than use local dumps. In the early 2000s, the city government proposed building a modern transfer station on the site, which was approved by Seattle Public Utilities in 2011. The old facility was closed in January 2014 and replaced by a new transfer station that opened in November 2016. It includes a community center with a viewing room, public art, green architecture, and an outdoor playground.

The Fremont Troll (also known as The Troll, or the Troll Under the Bridge) is a public sculpture in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, Washington in the United States.

The Stone Avenue Bridge was a bridge in Seattle that connected Stone Avenue (now Stone Way North) in Wallingford with Westlake Avenue just north of Halladay Street. Its northern terminus was in the area of what today is North 34th Street and North 35th Street. It was a temporary replacement for the Fremont Bridge during the construction of the Lake Washington Ship Canal and was a fixed bridge; during its operation no ships with tall masts could enter or exit Lake Union. The Stone Avenue Bridge was 2,700 feet long and included two lanes for cars and wagons, two streetcar tracks, and two sidewalks. An 80-foot-long span at the north end allowed vessels up to 25 feet tall to pass underneath. Its streetcar tracks were used for routes that normally traversed the previous Fremont Bridge when that bridge collapsed in 1914.The bridge opened on May 31, 1911, and was demolished in June 1917 after the new Fremont Bridge opened. No visible evidence of the bridge remains.

The Wagner Houseboat, also known as The Old Boathouse, is a historic floating home in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is located on Lake Union at 2770 Westlake Avenue North near the Aurora Bridge. It was built in 1912 and named for Richard Wagner, who bought it in the 1950s. Wagner and his wife Colleen later founded the Center for Wooden Boats, which was based out of their houseboat. Today, the Wagner Boathouse represents the transition of South Lake Union from industrial use to a residential community. The houseboat is also one of few remaining relics of the floating resort communities that were once prominent on Lake Washington.As one of Seattle's oldest houseboats, the Wagner Houseboat was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 19, 1982.

The company sells its products primarily in the golf and corporate clothing markets in over twenty-five countries around the world, and has been recognized for its sponsorship of Swedish golfer Annika Sörenstam. It also sells into the collegiate clothing market and in 2005, commenced a consumer-direct catalogue and e-commerce site. In the mid-nineties, Cutter & Buck became a founding member of the SA 8000 Social Accountability Platform, which holds its members to a code of conduct in outsourced manufacturing and domestic operations. Originally founded by Harvey Jones and Joey Rodolfo, Cutter & Buck's headquarters are now at 101 Elliott Avenue West in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. From April 2, 2014, until present, Cutter & Buck's CEO is Joel Freet.

The Aurora Bridge (officially called the George Washington Memorial Bridge) is a cantilever and truss bridge in Seattle, Washington, United States. It carries State Route 99 (Aurora Avenue North) over the west end of Seattle's Lake Union and connects Queen Anne and Fremont. The bridge is located just east of the Fremont Cut, which itself is spanned by the Fremont Bridge. The Aurora Bridge is owned and operated by the Washington State Department of Transportation. It is 2,945 ft (898 m) long, 70 ft (21 m) wide, and 167 ft (51 m) above the water. The bridge was opened to traffic on February 22, 1932, the 200th anniversary of the birth of namesake George Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The bridge has been the site of numerous fatal incidents over the years. It is a popular location for suicide jumpers and several reports have used the bridge as a case study in fields ranging from suicide prevention to the effects of pre-hospital care on trauma victims. In 1998, a bus driver was shot and killed while driving over the bridge, causing his bus to crash and resulting in the death of one of the passengers. In 2015, five people were killed and fifty were injured when an amphibious duck tour vehicle crashed into a charter bus on the bridge in an incident that also involved two smaller vehicles.

Waiting for the Interurban, also known as People Waiting for the Interurban, is a 1978 cast aluminum sculpture collection in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. It is located on the southeast corner of N. 34th Street and Fremont Avenue N., just east of the northern end of the Fremont Bridge. It consists of six people and a dog waiting for public transportation — specifically, the Seattle-Everett Interurban. While the interurban railway ran through Fremont from 1910 until 1939, it stopped on Fremont Avenue rather than N. 34th Street, which the statue faces.The sculptor, Fremont resident Richard Beyer, included several subtleties in the sculpture which reward close viewing. The face of the dog was sculpted to resemble Fremont political leader and the city's "godfather of recycling" Armen "Napoleon" Stephanian, with whom Beyer had public disagreements in the 1970s. People living and working in the Fremont neighborhood often dress the characters in apparel appropriate to a season or local event.

Fremont is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington, United States. Originally a separate city, it was annexed to Seattle in 1891. It is named after Fremont, Nebraska, the hometown of two of its founders: Luther H. Griffith and Edward Blewett.
