The J. Frank Dobie House is a historic house in Austin, Texas built in the Colonial Revival style in 1925–26. The house was bought by J. Frank Dobie in 1926, and it contained the library and office where he did much of his writing. Until his death in 1964, Dobie used the house for informal entertaining with colleagues and students. It was acquired by the University of Texas at Austin in 1995, and currently houses the Michener Center for Writers.

The Worrell–Ettlinger House is a historic Craftsman-style bungalow built in 1912 in Austin, Texas. The home is located at 3110 Harris Park Avenue. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 12, 2004.

Sabah Theological Seminary (STS) is an interdenominational Protestant seminary located in the town of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia. Established in 1988, STS is accredited by the Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) and a participating school of the South East Asia Graduate School of Theology (SEAGST) from which the Master of Theology degree is awarded

Seminary of the Southwest (formally the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest and informally SSW) is an Episcopal seminary in Austin, Texas. It is one of nine accredited seminaries of the Episcopal Church in the United States. Seminary of the Southwest forms Christian leaders pursuing ordination within the church, as well as those interested in lay forms of ministry, including chaplaincy and counseling.

The Cox–Craddock House is a historic Colonial Revival-style house built in 1928 in Austin, Texas. It was designed by the architect Hugo Kuehne. Robert A. and Linda Cox, the first owners of the house, were both economics professors at the University of Texas. Linda Cox sold the house in 1948 to Larry Inge Craddock, who had a variety of business interests in the city, including a miniature golf course and gas stations. Craddock enclosed the piazza and sleeping porch on the east end of the house. The current owner has restored the piazza to Kuehne's original open design and railing.The home is located at 720 East 32nd Street. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 30, 2001, as an excellent example of a Colonial Revival residence. It is built of brick and has a "symmetrical composition" in which a "pedimented portico forms the prominent central entry." The side-gabled roof is pierced on the front side by three pedimented dormers.The design by Hugo Kuehne included a porte cochere which was not built.

The Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music in the College of Fine Arts is located on the eastern side of The University of Texas at Austin. With over 100 faculty members and more than 750 students, the Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music ranks among the top 3% in the country for size. The school was founded in 1914 (1914) and started teaching graduate courses in 1924 (1924). In 1938 it had a faculty of nine and was led by Dr. Ezra William Doty and doctoral level degrees were offered. Present facilities date to 1968 with the construction of Music Building East. In 1980 construction of Music Recital Hall, now known as Bates Recital Hall, seating 700, was added to Music Building East, united the entire school in one building complex. McCullough Theatre, seating 400, is used by the Butler Opera Center and other concerts and Jessen Auditorium, in the old Music Building across campus, seating 300, is used for recitals and chamber music concerts. The Butler School is led by Dr. Mary Ellen Poole.

The Music Building and Recital Hall (MRH) is a building on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in the U.S. state of Texas. The building was completed in 1969.Bates Recital Hall, which seats 700, is housed in the Music Recital Hall.The Longhorn Band hall is located in side MRH.

The Texas Memorial Museum, located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas, USA, was created during preparations for the Texas Centennial Exposition held in 1936. The museum's focus is on natural history, including paleontology, geology, biology, herpetology, ichthyology and entomology. At one point, the museum also had exhibits on Texas history, anthropology, geography, and ethnography, but these were relocated to other museums (including the Bullock Texas State History Museum) in 2001. The building was designed in the Art Deco style by John F. Staub, with Paul Cret as supervising architect. Ground was broken for the building by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in January 1936. The museum was opened on January 15, 1939. The museum won "Best of Austin" awards from the Austin Chronicle in 2002 and 2005.In October 2013, Linda Hicke, the dean of Austin's College of Natural Sciences, cut the museum's funding by $400,000 and transferred ownership to the American Legion Texas Branch. The staff was reduced from twelve employees to three: a security guard, a gift shop operator and one other employee.

The Seven Mustangs, or simply Mustangs, is a bronze sculpture by Alexander Phimister Proctor located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. The sculpture was commissioned in 1937, modeled from 1939 to 1941, cast in 1947 and dedicated on May 31, 1948.

The Cockrell School of Engineering is one of the eighteen colleges within the University of Texas at Austin. It has more than 8,000 students enrolled in eleven undergraduate and thirteen graduate programs. The college is ranked 10th in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities, 11th nationally for undergraduate programs and 10th nationally for graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report. Nine of the ten undergraduate programs and seven of the eleven graduate programs are ranked in the top ten nationally. Annual research expenditures are over $180 million and the school has the fourth-largest number of faculty in the National Academy of Engineering.Previously known as the College of Engineering, on July 11, 2007, the University of Texas at Austin renamed the College after 1936 graduate Ernest Cockrell Jr., whose family has over the past 30 years helped to build a $140 million endowment for the College.

Clock Knot is an outdoor painted steel sculpture by Mark di Suvero, installed on the University of Texas at Austin campus, in Austin, Texas, United States. The approximately 40-foot (12 m) sculpture was installed along Dean Keeton Street in 2007.
