The Michael G. Foster School of Business is the business school at the University of Washington in Seattle. It was founded in 1917. The school has more than 50,000 alumni, and is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The school offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Enrollment each year is about 2,500 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs and more than 1,000 working professionals in its executive education seminars and lifelong learning programs.

The School of Drama is an undergraduate and graduate theatre school in the Arts Division of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1940, the School of Drama offers a Bachelor's degree and MFA degrees in directing, design, and acting. A Ph.D. in history theory and criticism is also offered. The MFA programs have outstanding reputations as top programs in the country. Each year, the MFA programs admit up to six actors, up to six design students, (two each for costume, scenic design, and lighting), up to three for the Ph.D. program and, every other year, two students are chosen in directing. The School of Drama presents a full subscription season of six productions every academic year, which feature MFA students and undergraduates. The Undergraduate Theater Society (UTS) founded by undergraduate James Newman in 1992, self-produces a season of its own.

The Center for Digital Arts and Experimental Media, or DXARTS, is a program offering PhD studies in new media art at the University of Washington. The goal of doctoral education in Digital Arts and Experimental Media is to create opportunities for artists to discover and document new knowledge and expertise at the most advanced levels higher education can offer. While creating new art is at the center of all activities in the program, the DXARTS PhD is a research-oriented degree requiring a substantial commitment to graduate-level study and reflection. The Ph.D. degree prepares artists to pursue original creative and technical research in Digital Arts and Experimental Media and pioneer lasting innovations on which future artists and scholars can build.

The School of Art + Art History + Design is in the Arts Division of the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Washington. The school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Denny Hall is a building on the main campus of the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington, United States. Built between 1894 and 1895, it is named after Arthur A. Denny.

The Foster Business Library is the business library at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. As part of the university system of libraries, it serves the 3,500 students, faculty, and staff of the Foster School of Business. The 21,500 square-foot facility, which opened in 1997, is located under a garden, beneath an 80-foot-long (24 m) skylight, on two floors, connected with PACCAR Hall and adjacent to Dempsey Hall and the Bank of America Executive Education Center.

The Liberal Arts Quadrangle, more popularly known as the Quad, is the main quadrangle at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. It is often considered the school's trademark attraction. Raitt Hall and Savery Hall frame the northwestern boundary while Gowen, Smith, and Miller Halls frame the southeast. At the top of the quad sits the latest buildings on the quad, the Art and Music Buildings. The quad is lined with thirty Yoshino cherry trees, which blossom between mid-March and early April.

Denny Field is located on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle. It was the home grounds for the university's football team for a quarter century, from 1895 until 1920. Washington compiled an overall home record of 87 wins, 15 losses, and 13 ties (.813) on the field including an NCAA record 59–0–4 winning streak from 1907 to 1917.On Saturday, November 6, 1920, the final game at Denny Field was played, a 3–0 loss to Stanford; the only scoring was a drop-kicked field goal in the second quarter. Three weeks later, the UW Sun Dodgers hosted Dartmouth of New Hampshire in the inaugural game of the venue later known as Husky Stadium; the visitors won 28–7 on November 27.Denny Field is near the northern edge of campus at an approximate elevation of 190 feet (58 m) above sea level. It is located south of the intersection of NE 45th Street and 20th Avenue NE, by Hutchinson Hall and Hansee Hall.

The University of Washington College of Education is the school of education at the University of Washington (UW). The Department of Geography at the University of Washington is a key site for the contemporary development of critical geography and was a significant location for the quantitative revolution. The department is located in Seattle, Washington and has been highly ranked among leading geography graduate programs in the United States.

The Theodor Jacobsen Observatory is the on-campus observatory of the University of Washington. Built in 1895, it is the second oldest building on campus and was constructed using the remaining Tenino sandstone blocks from Denny Hall, the oldest and first building on campus. The refracting telescope, enclosed within the dome, has a 6-inch Brashear objective lens on a Warner & Swasey equatorial mount. The observatory also includes a transit room on the west side and a 45-seat classroom, which was built later, on the south side. Today, the observatory is primarily used for public outreach and is run jointly by the UW Department of Astronomy and the Seattle Astronomical Society. Every first and third Wednesday between April and September the observatory is open to the public.The observatory is listed on the State Register of Historical Buildings.Information on the original design and building of the observatory by Prof. Joseph Marion Taylor may be found on the University of Washington Astronomy Department website and other sources.

The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies (also known as the Jackson School and abbreviated as "JSIS") is a school within the University of Washington's College of Arts and Sciences that specializes in research and instruction in area studies and was founded in 1909 as the Department of Oriental Subjects and is named to honor Henry M. Jackson.
