Ad-Deirat

Ar-Rifa'iyya (Arabic: الرفاعيّة), is a Palestinian village in the Hebron Governorate, located east of the city of Yatta and south of the city of Hebron in the West Bank, and within the lands occupied after the 1967 war.

Khalet al-Maiyya خلة المية is a Palestinian village located nine kilometers south of Hebron and four kilometers west of Yatta. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 2,149 in 2017. The primary health care facilities for the village is designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Carmel (Hebrew: כרמל) is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav in the south-east Mount Hebron (Har Hevron in Hebrew) area of the West Bank. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Har Hevron Regional Council and associates ideologically with the Amana settlement movement. In 2022 it had a population of 465. The settlement is close to the Israeli settlement of Ma'on, a moshav shitufi which shares a dairy cow farm with Carmel. It is also close to the village of Umm al-Kheir settled by Palestinian Bedouins, which has drawn criticism of Israel due to the difference in living conditions under Israeli occupation of the West Bank. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Ma'on (Hebrew: מָעוֹן) is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav shitufi in the West Bank. Located in the Judean Hills south of Hebron and north of Beersheba, it falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. In 2022, it had a population of 607. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Tawani or at-Tuwani (Arabic: التواني) is a small Palestinian village in the south Hebron Hills of the Hebron Governorate. Many of the village's residents live in caves. The village is located south-east of the village of Yatta. Approximately one kilometre (0.62 miles) away lies Tel Tuwani, near the Israeli settlement of Ma’on. Frequent disputes occur between at-Tawani's residents and settlers over land, roads and water resources. The village had a population of 194 residents in 2017.

Zif (Arabic: زيف) is a Palestinian village located 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) south of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Zif had a population of 1,061 in 2017. The primary health care facilities in the village itself are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1 and at nearby Yatta as level 3.

al-Karmil (Arabic: خربة الكرمل) is a Palestinian village located twelve kilometers south of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank, within Area A under total Palestinian control. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 9,740 in 2017. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Carmel was an ancient Israelite town in Judea, lying about 11.2 kilometres (7.0 mi) from Hebron, on the southeastern frontier of Mount Hebron. According to the Bible, Saul erected a victory monument in Carmel to memorialize his triumph over Amalek. The site is generally identified with the Arab village of al-Karmil.

Umm al-Khair (Arabic: أم الخير) is a Palestinian village located in the Hebron Governorate of the State of Palestine, in the southern West Bank. It was inhabited by five families, roughly 70 people, in 2008. By 2017, the population of the village was 686.

Ma'ale Hever (Hebrew: מַעֲלֵה חֶבֶר) or Pnei Hever (Hebrew: פְּנֵי חֶבֶר) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the eastern Hebron Hills to the east of Hebron at an elevation of 810 m (2,660 ft), it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 743. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government, as of 2019, disputes this.

Hureiz (Arabic: حريز) is a Palestinian village located seven kilometers south-east of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 997 in mid-year 2006. The primary health care facilities for the village are at Zif designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1 and at Yatta, level 3.

Ma'in (Arabic: معين) is a small Palestinian village in the south Hebron Hills of the Hebron Governorate, located 14 kilometers south of Hebron. It is bordered by the villages of at-Tuwani to the east, al-Karmil village to the north, Khallet Salih to the west, and Qawawis to the south. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 459 in 2007. The village is situated immediately to the north of Khirbet Ma'in (Horvat Maon), an archaeological site containing the remains of the ancient town of Ma'on. It is home to members of several clans, including Makhamra, Dababsah, Hamamdah, Muhammad, and Abu Taha.
