Ma'ale Hever

Bani Na'im (Arabic: بني نعيم, romanized: Banī Naʾīm) is a Palestinian town in the southern West Bank located 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) east of Hebron in the Hebron Governorate of the State of Palestine. It is situated at a higher elevation than most localities in the area, with an altitude of 951 meters (3,120 ft). The town is best known as the burial place of Lot, a fact already mentioned around 400 CE, when it was known as 'Caphar Barucha'. Following the Muslim conquest, its name was eventually Arabicized as Kafr al-Burayk. The tomb of Lot was turned into a mosque during Islamic rule and remained so under Crusader rule. Later, the Arab tribe of Bani Nu'aym settled there, giving the town its current name, Bani Na'im, first used by Muslim scholar Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi in 1690. In the 1838, Bani Na'im was completely uninhabited. Its residents resettled in surrounding areas, living in caves and temporary dwellings. During the late 1930s, the population took part in the Arab Revolt against the British Mandate. Following the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, the town came under Jordanian rule. Since the 1967 Six-Day War, Bani Na'im has been occupied by Israel; since 1995, it has been governed by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). In 2017 the town had a population of 24,628.

Zif (Arabic: زيف) is a Palestinian village located 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) south of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Zif had a population of 1,061 in 2017. The primary health care facilities in the village itself are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1 and at nearby Yatta as level 3.

Ar-Rifa'iyya (Arabic: الرفاعيّة), is a Palestinian village in the Hebron Governorate, located east of the city of Yatta and south of the city of Hebron in the West Bank, and within the lands occupied after the 1967 war.

Ad-Deirat (Arabic: الديرات), is a village on the outskirts of Yatta in the Palestinian Hebron Governorate. It is part of the Khalet al-Maiyya village cluster, 11 km to the southeast of Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank. It was occupied in 1967.

Hureiz (Arabic: حريز) is a Palestinian village located seven kilometers south-east of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 997 in mid-year 2006. The primary health care facilities for the village are at Zif designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1 and at Yatta, level 3.

Khalet al-Maiyya خلة المية is a Palestinian village located nine kilometers south of Hebron and four kilometers west of Yatta. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 2,149 in 2017. The primary health care facilities for the village is designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Carmel (Hebrew: כרמל) is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav in the south-east Mount Hebron (Har Hevron in Hebrew) area of the West Bank. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Har Hevron Regional Council and associates ideologically with the Amana settlement movement. In 2022 it had a population of 465. The settlement is close to the Israeli settlement of Ma'on, a moshav shitufi which shares a dairy cow farm with Carmel. It is also close to the village of Umm al-Kheir settled by Palestinian Bedouins, which has drawn criticism of Israel due to the difference in living conditions under Israeli occupation of the West Bank. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

al-Heila (Arabic: الحيلة) is a Palestinian village located eight kilometers south of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,277 in 2007. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1.

al-Uddeisa, also spelled Al 'Uddeisa, is a Palestinian village located four kilometers east of Hebron.The village is a locality of Sa'ir, in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,474 in mid-year 2006. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1.

Kiryat Arba or Qiryat Arba (Hebrew: קִרְיַת־אַרְבַּע, lit. 'Town of the Four') is an urban Israeli settlement on the outskirts of Hebron, in the southern West Bank. Founded in 1968, in 2021 it had a population of 7,499. The international community considers Israeli settlements illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Givat Harsina (Arabic: جفعات هرسينا Hebrew: גִּבְעַת חַרְסִינָה), also Ramat Mamre (Hebrew: רָמַת מַמְרֵא), is an Israeli settlement on the outskirts of the Palestinian city of Hebron, in the Judean Mountains region of the West Bank. Israel officially considers it part of the settlement of Kiryat Arba, and its population statistics are included with those of Kiryat Arba.

Worshippers Way or Prayers Road in Hebron, West Bank is a road linking the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba with the Cave of the Patriarchs and with the Jewish settlements in Hebron. The road is used by Israelis and tourists who visit the Cave and the Old City of Hebron. Palestinians are denied vehicular use of the road. The road was expanded after an ambush near Kiryat Arba that took place in November 2002. The expansion required that adjacent Palestinian land be expropriated, which resulted in a legal battle. A number of buildings of architectural and historical value, dating back to the Mamluk-Ottoman period, were also expropriated and destroyed.
