Meridian Water railway station is on the Lea Valley Lines in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield, north London. It opened on 3 June 2019. The station is approximately 580 metres (630 yd) south of the closed Angel Road railway station, which Meridian Water has replaced.

Angel Road was a railway station in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield, north London, on the Lea Valley line that forms part of the West Anglia Main Line, 7 miles 57 chains (12.4 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street. It was between Northumberland Park and Ponders End in Travelcard zone 4 and had the three-letter station code AGR. It is located beneath the A406 flyover of Meridian Way, and was accessed via a footpath from Conduit Lane, on an adjacent flyover to the north. The station's immediate surroundings include non-manufacturing industrial businesses and a former gas works. In 2016–17 it was the least-used station in London, with an estimated 33,500 passenger entries/exits. Angel Road closed permanently to the general public on 31 May 2019 and was replaced by Meridian Water station, which opened on 3 June 2019 and is located 630 yards (580 m) south of Angel Road.

Meridian Water is a £6bn, 20-year regeneration programme in Upper Edmonton, in the south-east of the London Borough of Enfield, North London. Led by the council, the project will build 10,000 homes next to the Lee Valley Regional Park. The development has its own railway station which opened in June 2019, replacing Angel Road, connecting to Stratford and London Liverpool Street to the south, and Stansted and Cambridge to the north.

Eley Industrial Estate is in Edmonton, London. Bordered by the Angel Road which is part of the North Circular Road A406 road, the River Lee Navigation, and the Lea Valley Lines railway line. The estate is named after Eley Brothers who manufactured firearms cartridges here.

Building BloQs is an open workshop in Enfield, London. A social enterprise, their emphasis is on creating and maintaining space and resources for people to make a living off their craft. The model is in response to rising rental prices and gentrification in London. In 2017, it had 300 professional members, a 10,000 square foot space, and was called a "proof of concept" for a new 55,000 square foot space. That new space will be part of a 200-acre, £6B urban development project called Meridian Water. The £2.7m project will make Building BloQs the biggest Open Workshop in Europe.As of September 2017, BloQs maintained studios and tools for Metal and Woodworking, cnc milling, laser cutting, and Textiles. Their space also includes an Artist studio and a cafe, and is mostly flexible space.

Eley is a British manufacturer of firearms cartridges. Historically the company has produced a broad variety of ammunition, but today specialises in .22 Long Rifle cartridges for competitive target shooting. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, six of the twelve medals for cartridge rifle and pistol were won using Eley ammunition.

St. John the Evangelist, Upper Edmonton, is a church in Edmonton and is within the Diocese of London and are under the Bishop of Edmonton, formerly the Rt Revd Peter Wheatley. St John is within the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England and has the Mass at the centre of parish life.

EcoPark is a waste-to-energy plant which burns waste from several London boroughs to provide electricity for the National Grid. It is located on the River Lee Navigation and bordered by the North Circular Road, in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield. It is also known as Edmonton EcoPark (formerly Edmonton Incinerator, and later as London Ecopark).

Northumberland Park railway station is on the Lea Valley line that forms part of the West Anglia Main Line, serving the ward of Northumberland Park in Tottenham, north London. It is 6 miles 73 chains (11.1 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Tottenham Hale and Meridian Water. Its three-letter station code is NUM and it is in Travelcard zone 3. It is one of the stations that can be used to access Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Greater Anglia. The station was upgraded starting 2017 to add an extra track and a new island platform. It had one of north London's few level crossings to its immediate north, but this was removed in the rebuilding of the station as a result of the STAR (Stratford to Angel Road) project. Northumberland Park Depot for the London Underground's Victoria line is sited adjacent to the station and it is close to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Stonebridge Lock (No16) is a paired lock on the River Lee Navigation in the London Borough of Haringey, England and is located near Tottenham, London. Like other locks as far as Ponder's End Lock it is large enough to take barges of up to 130 tons. The primary lock has been upgraded to mechanical operation, but the secondary lock is operated manually.
