Ra'anana (Hebrew: רַעֲנָנָּה, lit. "Fresh") is a city in the southern Sharon Plain of the Central District of Israel. It was founded in 1922 as an American-Jewish settlement, c.1 km south of the village of Tabsur, where an important World War I battle had taken place four years previously.Bordered by Kfar Saba and Hod HaSharon on the east and Herzliya on the southwest, it had a population of 78,562 in 2021. While the majority of its residents are native-born Israeli Jews, a large part of the population consists of Jewish immigrants from the Americas and Europe. Ra'anana's industrial park, built over the depopulated village of Tabsur, is home to global and local start-up companies. It was designated a "Green City" by the World Health Organization in 2005.

Karnei Oren Memorial Field, also known as Histadrut Field (as it is located at the corner of Keren Hayesod and Histadrut streets) or Ra'anana Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Ra'anana, Israel. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used previously by Hapoel Ra'anana, while playing in Liga Leumit, most recently in 2012–13, and it is currently used by Bnei Ra'anana, who play in Liga Bet. The stadium was opened in 1940 and has a capacity of 2,500 spectators.

Ra'anana West railway station is an Israel Railways passenger station in the median of Highway 531, between the cities of Ra'anana and Herzliya, as part of the Sharon Railway. The addition of this station and its sister station Ra'anana South, is intended reduce travel time for Ra'anana residents to Tel-Aviv to approximately 11 minutes. The station was scheduled to open on 1 July 2018 but was delayed till 3 July.

Tabsur (Arabic: تبصر), also Khirbat 'Azzun (Arabic: خربة عزون), was a Palestinian village located 19 kilometres southwest of Tulkarm. In 1931, the village had 218 houses and an elementary school for boys. Its Palestinian population was expelled during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.

Ra'anana Park is a public park spanning 200 acres, serving as the grand and central park of the city of Raanana. Nestled at the western edge of Ahuza Street, on the western border of the city, the park adjoins Kfar Batya and the 'Lev Hapark' neighborhood to the north. To the south and west, it borders the fields between Raanana and Herzliya. The park is enclosed from all sides, with entrance facilitated through five gates—two on its eastern side and three on its western side near the lake. Inaugurated in 1995, the park has undergone various upgrades and expansions since its establishment.

Givat Hen (Hebrew: גִּבְעַת חֵ"ן, lit. HN Hill) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Ra'anana, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 364.

The Open University of Israel (Hebrew: האוניברסיטה הפתוחה, Ha-Universita ha-Ptuha) is a distance-education university in Israel. It is one of ten public universities in Israel recognized by the Council of Higher Education (CHE). The Open University is unique in that it does not require a matriculation certificate, psychometric exam, or other entrance exam for admission to undergraduate studies. Open University teaching methods are based primarily on distance learning technologies, with the option of face-to-face tutorial sessions. Campuses are located in Ra'anana, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Beersheba, Givat Haviva, and Nazareth, in addition to approximately fifty study centers located throughout the country. Most students study remotely from their homes in Israel and around the world. As in other higher education institutions, graduation from the OUI is contingent upon successfully fulfilling degree requirements; English-language proficiency is also required. The university offers bachelor's degrees, as well as a number of master's degree programs, and a doctoral program in Education: Technologies in Learning Systems. Acceptance requirements to master's programs are similar to those at most universities.

Ra'anana South railway station is an Israel Railways passenger station at the boundary between Ra'anana, Kfar Saba and Kfar Malal. It serves the residents of the southern Sharon region. The station is located on the Sharon Railway, in the center of the large interchange connecting highways 4 and 531. The addition of this station and its sister station Ra'anana West will reduce the travel time for Ra'anana and Kfar Saba residents to Tel-Aviv to approximately 11 minutes when the link via Herzliya railway station opens. The two stations were opened on 3 July 2018, and the link via Herzliya is scheduled to open in early 2020. With only 233,114 passengers recorded in 2019, the station is the least used in the Central District.

Ramot HaShavim (Hebrew: רָמוֹת הַשָּׁבִים, lit. Heights of the Returnees) is a Jewish village in central Israel. Located between Hod HaSharon and Ra'anana and covering around 2,300 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,695.

Herzliya ( hurts-LEE-yə; Hebrew: הֶרְצְלִיָּה [heʁts(e)liˈja]; Arabic: هرتسليا, romanized: Hirtsiliyā) is an affluent city in the central coast of Israel, at the northern part of the Tel Aviv District, known for its robust start-up and entrepreneurial culture. In 2021 it had a population of 103,318. Named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, Herzliya covers an area of 21.6 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi). Its western, beachfront area is called Herzliya Pituah and is one of Israel's most affluent neighborhoods and home to numerous embassies, ambassadors' residences, companies headquarters and houses of prominent Israeli business people.

Meir Medical Center (Hebrew: מרכז רפואי מאיר, Merkaz Refu'i Me'ir) is regional hospital in Kfar Saba, Israel. It is the seventh largest hospital complex in the country, and is part of a network of hospitals owned and operated by Clalit Health Services.
