Zachód (lit. West) is one of four districts (Polish: dzielnica) of Szczecin, Poland situated on the left bank of Oder river in western part of the city. Multinational Corps Northeast was formed on 18 September 1999 at Szczecin, Poland, which became its headquarters. It evolved from what was for many years the only multinational corps in NATO, Allied Land Forces Schleswig-Holstein and Jutland (LANDJUT) (in its turn, a part of Allied Forces Northern Europe). From 1962 LANDJUT had been responsible for the defence of the Baltic Approaches from a headquarters at Rendsburg, Germany. It comprised the 6th Panzergrenadier Division and the Danish Jutland Division.

Stadion Miejski im. Floriana Krygiera (Florian Krygier Municipal Stadium) is a football stadium in Szczecin, Poland. It is the home ground of Pogoń Szczecin. The stadium holds 18,027 people and was built in 1925.It is named in honour of Florian Krygier, Polish football coach and an instrumental figure in the history of Pogoń Szczecin.A major reconstruction initiated in 2019 to be completed in 2022, to reach the capacity of 21,163.

As of January 2011 it had a population of 25,500.Before 1945 when Szczecin (Stettin) was a part of Germany, the German name of this suburb was Stettin-Braunsfelde.

Krzekowo-Bezrzecze is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland situated on the left bank of Oder river, west of the Szczecin Old Town and Middle Town, in Zachód (West) District. As of January 2011 it had a population of 3,644.Krzekowo-Bezrzecze comprises Krzekowo and Bezrzecze. The church in Krzekowo is one of the oldest buildings in the city - it dates back to the 13. century.

Gumieńce (German: Scheune) is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland situated on the left bank of Oder river, west of the Szczecin Old Town, Middle Town and Pomorzany. As of January 2011 it had a population of 19,120.The Central Cemetery is located in eastern part of Gumieńce. Before 1945 when Stettin was a part of Germany, the German name of this suburb was Stettin-Scheune.

The Różanka Rose Garden (in German Staudengarten, Rosengarten), is a two-hectare botanical garden in the Łękno area of Szczecin, Poland. The Różanka Rose garden was established in 1928 to commemorate the World Gardening Exhibition. In 1935, the Bird Well was built and it included 4 concrete sculptures of flying geese by Kurt Schwerdtfeger. The garden survived World War II and until the 1970s was a public recreational place. Due to lack of funding for its maintenance, the garden gradually began to deteriorate. In 1983, the garden was put under the care of the Roman Catholic Church. Since 2005, it has been maintained by the Szczecin City Council. Between 2006 and 2007, the City Council reconstructed the garden to its appearance in the 1930s. The work was completed on 20 April 2007. Over nine thousand roses of 99 varieties were planted. Apart from the flowers, the garden also contains exotic trees and shrubs. The trees include chestnut, Amur cork trees, apple trees, cherry trees, American hornbeams, maples and Serbian spruces.

Zawadzkiego-Klonowica is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, situated on the left bank of Oder river, in Zachód (West) District. It borders Krzekowo-Bezrzecze to the west, Głębokie-Pilchowo and Osów to the north, Arkońskie-Niemierzyn to the east, and Pogodno to the south. As of January 2011 it had a population of 12,983.

Netto Arena (2014–2017 Azoty Arena, Netto Arena since 2018) is an indoor arena in Szczecin, Poland. It opened on 1 August 2014, and holds 5,403 people. Arena Szczecin hosts a variety of sports events, including basketball, volleyball, handball, indoor soccer, tennis, badminton, martial arts, fencing, sport gymnastics, pole jump.

The Province of Pomerania (German: Provinz Pommern; Polish: Prowincja Pomorze) was a province of Prussia from 1815 to 1945. Pomerania was established as a province of the Kingdom of Prussia in 1815, an expansion of the older Brandenburg-Prussia province of Pomerania, and then became part of the German Empire in 1871. From 1918, Pomerania was a province of the Free State of Prussia until it was dissolved in 1945 following World War II, and its territory divided between Poland and Allied-occupied Germany. The city of Stettin (present-day Szczecin, Poland) was the provincial capital.
