Kanazawa Umimirai Library is a public library located in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. This is a contemporary building by the Japanese architects Kazumi Kudo and Hiroshi Horiba, completed in 2011. Its surface creates a decorative grid made of some 6000 small circular blocks of glass which puncture the concrete surface of the building in a triangular array.

Ishikawa Prefecture (石川県, Ishikawa-ken) is a prefecture of Japan located in the Chūbu region of Honshu island. Ishikawa Prefecture has a population of 1,140,573 (31 October 2019) and has a geographic area of 4,186 km2 (1,616 sq mi). Ishikawa Prefecture borders Toyama Prefecture to the east, Gifu Prefecture to the southeast, and Fukui Prefecture to the south. Ishikawa is located on the Sea of Japan coast and features the most of the Noto Peninsula which forms Toyama Bay, one of the largest bays in Japan. Ishikawa Prefecture is part of the historic Hokuriku region and formerly an important populated center that contained some of the wealthiest han (domains) of the Japanese feudal era. Ishikawa Prefecture is home to Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, Nyotaimori ("body sushi"), and Kutani ware.

Ishikawa Sports Center (いしかわ総合スポーツセンター, Ishikawa sogo supo-tsu senta-) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the city of Kanazawa, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 5,000 and was opened in March 2008.

Ishikawa Prefecture Seibu Ryokuchi Park Athletic Stadium is an athletic stadium located in Seibu Ryokuchi Park in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is also used as a ball game field. The facility is owned by Ishikawa Prefecture and is operated and managed by the Ishikawa Prefectural Fureai Public Corporation as a designated manager.

The Chikamori Site (チカモリ遺跡, Chikamori iseki) is an archaeological site with the ruins of a late Jōmon period settlement in what is now the Shinbohon neighbourhood of the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa in the Hokuriku region of Japan. It was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1987.

Kanazawa Station (金沢駅, Kanazawa-eki) is a major railway station in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West), the private railway operator Hokuriku Railroad, and the third-sector operator IR Ishikawa Railway. Beneath a square in front of the JR station is Hokutetsu-Kanazawa Station, the terminal of the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line.

Ishikawa Ongakudō (石川県立音楽堂, Ishikawa kenritsu ongakudō) is a concert hall in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It opened in 2001 and has two principal performances spaces: the shoebox-style Concert Hall, which seats 1,560; and the Hōgaku Hall, with a capacity of 720, for traditional Japanese music, kabuki, and bunraku. The walls of the main auditorium are finished with urushi. Yoshinobu Ashihara was the architect with acoustic design by Nagata Acoustics, who trialled their concept with a 1:10 scale model. The organ, with sixty-nine stops, is by the Karl Schuke company. Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa is the resident orchestra.

Uchinada (内灘町, Uchinada-machi) is a town located in Kahoku District, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 28 February 2018, the town had an estimated population of 26,811 in 10783 households, and a population density of 1300 persons per km2. The total area of the town was 20.33 square kilometres (7.85 sq mi).

The Porte Kanazawa (ポルテ金沢, Porute Kanazawa) is a skyscraper located in Kanazawa, Isikawa Prefecture, Japan. Construction of the 131-metre, 30-story skyscraper was finished in 1994.

Kanazawa Medical University (金沢医科大学, Kanazawa ika daigaku) is a private university in Uchinada, Ishikawa, Japan, established in 1972. A general hospital Kanazawa Medical University Hospital is attached to the university. The university has operated Kanazawa Medical University Himi Municipal Hospital in Himi, Toyama since 2008.

Shin-Nishi-Kanazawa Station (新西金沢駅, Shin-Nishikanazawa-eki) is a railway station on the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture Japan, operated by the private railway operator Hokuriku Railroad (Hokutetsu).
