The Flag Square (Spanish: Plaza de la Bandera) is a public square in Lima, Peru. It is located next to the Mateo Salado Huaca at the intersection of Breña, Lima and Pueblo Libre districts.

Breña District (Spanish: Distrito de Breña) is the smallest district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is part of Lima city metropolitan area.

Pueblo Libre (originally called La Magdalena or Old Magdalena to differentiate it from Magdalena del Mar District) is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. Its name, which means Free Town or Free People, was granted by José de San Martín on April 10, 1822, as a recognition of the patriotism shown by its inhabitants during the Peruvian War of Independence. The district was created by law 9162 on November 5, 1940. Pueblo Libre is a middle-class residential community and has the most parks in Lima, although it has several branches of banks, local private universities and major corporations.

Universidad Alas Peruanas (UAP or Peruvian Wings University) is a university located in Lima, Peru, founded on April 26, 1996, by Joaquin Ramirez thorough an Cooperativa Alas Peruanas, composed of members of the Peruvian Armed Forces. In January 2014, the school launched UAPSat-1, a satellite that monitors the environment outside the earth's atmosphere aboard the Cygnus CRS Orb-1 mission.

The Museo Nacional de Arqueología Antropología e Historia del Perú (English: National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology, and History of Peru) is the largest and oldest museum in Peru, located on Plaza Bolívar in the Pueblo Libre district of Lima. The museum houses more than 100,000 artifacts spanning the entire history of human occupation in what is now Peru. Highlights include the Raimondi Stele and the Tello Obelisk from Chavín de Huantar, and an impressive scale model of the Incan citadel, Machu Picchu.

The Palacio de la Magdalena (Spanish for Magdalena Palace) is a viceregal house located in the district of Pueblo Libre in Lima. It is located near the Plaza de los Libertadores, and is also known as the Quinta de los Libertadores. The building was declared a national monument in 1972.

Centro de Convenciones Agua Viva (formerly known as Coliseo Amauta) is the biggest multi-use indoor arena in Peru, located in the southern zone of the Lima District in Lima, Peru. The arena has a capacity for 20,000 people, which can vary depending on use. It originally opened in 1946. It is the largest covered arena in Peru, today it is being renovated by its current owner, Agua Viva Church. In the past it hosted events such as a Soda Stereo concert in 1987, and it was the home of the children's TV program Nubeluz, who used the arena for the broadcasting of the show until 1995 when they moved to Panamericana Television studios in Santa Beatriz.

The Larco Museum (officially known as Rafael Larco Herrera Archaeological Museum, in Spanish: Museo Arqueológico Rafael Larco Herrera) is a privately owned museum of pre-Columbian art, located in the Pueblo Libre District of Lima, Peru. The museum is housed in an 18th-century vice-royal building. It showcases chronological galleries that provide a thorough overview of 5,000 years of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. It is well known for its gallery of pre-Columbian erotic pottery.

The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene (Spanish: Iglesia de Santa María Magdalena) is a Catholic temple that belongs to the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Lima, located in the district of Pueblo Libre, Lima, Peru. It was declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation in 1942 by resolution LN° 9599.It features a traditional Isabellan-style hall plan and a main altar with baroque decoration, as well as a series of eight side altars, all covered in gold leaf. Since 1944, the church and its premises have been run by the Order of Augustinian Recollects.

La Cruz del Viajero (The Cross of the Traveller) is a monumental cross located in what now Pueblo Libre, a district of the city of Lima, Peru. It was erected in 1579 by Catholic missionaries. Travellers would stop at the cross to ask for protection on the road to the port of Callao, a route which was beset by bandits. In 1759 the cross was moved 100 metres from its original location to a plaza that bears its name on the corner of Torre Tagle and Julio C. Tello streets. Both José de San Martín and Simón Bolívar are said to have knelt before the cross.The cross was declared a Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación (Cultural Patrimony of the Nation) in 1998.

The Church of Our Lady of the Forsaken and of Saint Joseph (Spanish: Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados y de San José), known commonly as the Church of the Forsaken (Spanish: Iglesia de los Desamparados), is a Catholic church located between Venezuela Avenue and the Jirón Recuay of the main square of Breña, in Lima, Peru. The current building is the successor of the church built between 1669 and 1671, formerly located at the first block of Jirón Áncash until its demolition in 1937 to make way for the construction of posterior garden of the new Government Palace.

Jesús María is one of the most centrally located districts of Lima, Peru. It is an upper class, high-density district and it usually ranks in the top districts with the best quality of life in Peru with an HDI of 0.8372 (2019), only behind the districts of La Molina and Lince. Jesús María is located 103 meters above sea level and bordered by the districts of Pueblo Libre and Breña District on the west, downtown Lima on the north and east, Lince District on the southeast, and San Isidro and Magdalena del Mar on the south. Until 1963, when it was made into a separate district, Jesús María was attached to Lima District.
