Holy Cross Regional High School, or "HCRHS", is a Catholic school, under the administration of CISVA (Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese) school board located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Robert Dejulius (March 12, 1943) served 28 years as principal since the high school opened in 1982 and retired at the end of school season in 2010. Chris Blesch is the current principal. Stanley Kazun has also served as vice principal since the opening in 1982. Ex-BC Lions linebacker Glen Jackson retired as a social studies, business ed, and athletics teacher.

Bakerview–166 Street is an elevated station under construction on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It will be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Fraser Highway and 166 Street in the Fleetwood town centre of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It is scheduled to open in 2029. The station is named after the view of Mount Baker from the neighbourhood, and will be adjacent to Bonnie Schrenk Park and the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex. Bakerview–166 Street station is the starting point for the Fleetwood Flyer launching gantry, which will construct the elevated guideway for the Surrey–Langley extension towards 152 Street station.

North Surrey Secondary is a public high school in Surrey, British Columbia and is part of School District 36 Surrey. The current structure dates from 1993, but the site has been in use since 1949. During the 1999–2000 year, a track was constructed on property north of the main building. The school is notable for its drama and art departments, both of which have been the recipient of several awards. Several movies have been filmed at the school including Agent Cody Banks.

152 Street is an elevated station under construction on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It will be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Fraser Highway and 152 Street in the Fleetwood town centre of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It is scheduled to open in 2029. The station will feature a pedestrian bridge that will connect to the east side of 152 Street. 152 Street station is the starting point for the Surrey Sprinter launching gantry, which will construct the elevated guideway for the Surrey–Langley extension towards King George station.

Johnston Heights Secondary is a public high school in Surrey, British Columbia and is part of School District 36 Surrey. The newest building was built in 1989. Johnston Heights' exterior highly resembles that of its neighbouring high school, North Surrey Secondary School. The Canadian government chose to highlight the school for its program to improve intercultural understanding. Yearly, Johnston Heights' REACH Council has been working to support Multicultural Week, Health Week, World Causes Week and annual holiday celebrations are also held. In 2007-2008, Johnston Heights initially set out to raise $2000.00 for the KIVA organization (kiva.org) and eventually raised over $2,500.00 to provide micro loans to people in the third-world for their businesses.

The Greater Vancouver Open was a professional golf tournament in Canada on the PGA Tour, held in southwestern British Columbia from 1996 to 2002. It was played after the majors in late summer, at the Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, a suburb southeast of Vancouver.

Guildford is a town centre and neighbourhood of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It is known for its retail corridors along 104 Avenue and 152 Street. At the intersection of these two streets sits the 200-store Guildford Town Centre (also known as the Guildford Shopping Centre). The community is named after Guildford in Surrey, England. Although Guildford is geographically large, the Guildford "area" is locally considered to centre around the Guildford Town Centre mall and its surrounding blocks. A notable landmark in Guildford is the 86-metre (282 ft) tall flagpole, which had been located at the Expo 86 fairgrounds, and was then the record holder for world's tallest flagpole. It is also home to the Guildford Recreation Centre, which is owned and operated by the City of Surrey to serve the recreational needs of local residents. As of the 2016 census, the population of Guildford is 60,745.

Pacific Academy is a private Christian school in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada that spans from preschool to Grade 12. The school has 4 classes per grade, and has over 200 staff members as well as 1500 students. It was started by Jim Pattison, a billionaire who donated money to create Pacific Academy. Pacific Academy also has an outreach program (PAOS) that spans the far reaches of the globe. For example, it supports the Kibaale community schools in Uganda. Pacific Academy was ranked by the Fraser Institute in the school year of 2017/2018, as 7th out of 251 British Columbian Secondary Schools.

Fraser Heights Secondary is a public high school in the upper-class Fraser Heights neighbourhood situated in Surrey, British Columbia and is part of School District 36 Surrey. The school is known for its excellence in provincial badminton and volleyball; academics, particularly in the sciences; and extracurricular opportunities. University of Toronto ranked Fraser Heights in the top 50 of all of secondary schools in Canada for the success students have had after leaving high school.Fraser Heights has an average class size of 28 students. A $14 million expansion wing with sixteen new classrooms and an open area for community use opened in the spring of 2014.
