The 133rd Street station was a station on the IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bronx, New York City. It was originally opened on May 17, 1886 by the Suburban Rapid Transit Company, and was the first stop in the Bronx after crossing the Harlem River. It had two tracks and one island platform, and was also the terminus of the Third Avenue Line until May 23, 1886 when it was expanded to 143rd Street. Besides Third Avenue Line trains, it was also served by trains of the IRT Second Avenue Line until June 11, 1940, when Second Avenue service ended. This station closed on May 12, 1955, with the ending of all service on the Third Avenue El south of 149th Street.

The Willis Avenue station was an elevated rapid transit station of the Willis Avenue Spur that branched off of the IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bronx, New York City. It opened in 1886 and closed in 1924.

It was also served by trains of the IRT Second Avenue Line until June 11, 1940. A paid transfer was available to IRT Pelham Line trains at the underground Third Avenue – 138th Street station. This station closed on May 12, 1955, with the ending of all service on the Third Avenue El south of 149th Street.

The Willis Avenue Bridge is a swing bridge that carries road traffic northbound (and bicycles and pedestrians both ways) over the Harlem River between the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx, United States. It connects First Avenue in Manhattan with Willis Avenue in the Bronx. The New York City Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining and operating the bridge. The bridge is part of the course for the annual New York City Marathon. The runners, after crossing over from Manhattan to The Bronx via the bridge (which has been dubbed "the wall" because it marks the 20-mile point on the run) then follow a short course through the borough and return to Manhattan for the race's final leg via the Madison Avenue Bridge.Between 2000 and 2014, the bridge opened for vessels 214 times.

Harlem River Yards (also known as Harlem River Yard) is a waterfront industrial property located in the Mott Haven and Port Morris neighborhoods of the Bronx in New York City. It is operated by Harlem River Yard Ventures, part of the Galesi Group, under a 99-year lease with the State of New York signed in 1991.The yard owes its name to the property's prior and current use as a freight rail yard. However, only a 28-acre portion of the site has been retained for intermodal rail use, with rail traffic to and from the yard limited to municipal solid waste shipment. Beginning in the late 1990s, Harlem River Yards has been the site of substantial commercial development, including a New York Post printing plant, a waste treatment plant, and a FedEx distribution center.

Crack Is Wack is a mural created in 1986 by American artist and social activist Keith Haring. Located near the Harlem River Drive in East Harlem, the mural serves as a warning against crack cocaine use, which was rampant in major cities across the United States during the mid to late 1980s. As a symbol of anti-drug activism, Crack Is Wack commemorates Haring's powerful sociopolitical presence as an artist and remains a part of New York City's repertoire of iconic public art.

The Third Avenue Bridge carries southbound road traffic on Third Avenue over the Harlem River, connecting the boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx in New York City. It once carried southbound New York State Route 1A. The Third Avenue Bridge carries traffic south from the intersections of either Third Avenue and East 135th Street, or Bruckner Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue, in the Bronx. On the Manhattan side, the bridge funnels traffic into three locations: East 128th Street; the intersection of East 129th Street and Lexington Avenue; or the southbound Harlem River Drive in Manhattan. The bridge was formerly bidirectional, but converted to one-way operation southbound on August 5, 1941 on the same day the Willis Avenue Bridge was similarly converted to one-way northbound. In 1955, the original multi-truss bridge constructed in 1898 was removed and sold. A rebuilt bridge reopened in December 1956.

BronxArtSpace is a non-profit gallery that promotes underrepresented and emerging artists and curators. It is an independent venue not associated with any college or institution.It fosters arts education through exhibitions and cultural events in Mott Haven in the South Bronx, New York. Events include exhibitions in collaboration with visual artists, performers, filmmakers, dancers, musicians, actors and curators. BronxArtSpace was started in 2008 by artists Linda Cunningham and Mitsu Hadeishi.When she couldn’t afford living in Soho anymore, Cunningham moved to an apartment building in Mott Haven. She renovated the five-story building on East 140th Street and created the BronxArtSpace gallery on the ground floor.

The 129th Street station was a transfer station on the IRT Third Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City, shared by elevated trains of both the Third Avenue Line and IRT Second Avenue Line. The next stop to the north was 133rd Street for the main line and Willis Avenue for the Willis Avenue spur, both of which were across a swing bridge above the Harlem River in the Bronx. The next stop to the south was 125th Street−Third Avenue for Third Avenue Line trains and 125th Street−Second Avenue for Second Avenue Line trains.
