The Grove, Harrow School

St Mary's, Harrow on the Hill, is the Borough and Parish Church at Harrow on the Hill in northwest London, England. It is a Grade I-listed building.

Harrow School () is a public school (English independent boarding school for boys) in Harrow on the Hill, Greater London, England. The school was founded in 1572 by John Lyon, a local landowner and farmer, under a Royal Charter of Queen Elizabeth I. Harrow's history and influence have made it one of the most prestigious schools in the world.The school has an enrollment of about 820 boys, all of whom board full-time, in twelve boarding houses. It is one of the original nine public schools listed in the 1868 parliament act, and a member of the prestigious Rugby Group schools. With Eton College and Radley College, Harrow retains status of an all-boy, full-boarding school. Harrow's uniform includes morning suits, straw boater hats, top hats and canes. Its list of distinguished alumni includes seven former British Prime Ministers: Aberdeen, Perceval, Goderich, Peel, Palmerston, Baldwin and Churchill, as well as the former Indian Prime Minister, Jawarhalal Nehru; numerous former and current members of both Houses of the UK Parliament, several members of various royal families, three Nobel Prize winners, twenty Victoria Cross holders and many prominent figures in the arts and sciences.

The Harrow School bombing happened on 24 October 1974, when the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) bombed Peterborough Cottage, a three-storey former caretaker's house in the grounds of Harrow School. A warning was given and there were no deaths or injuries.

Harrow College is a further education college in the London Borough of Harrow, England, with two campuses in Harrow and Harrow Weald. It was established in 1999 by the merger of two tertiary colleges. Since 2017 it has been legally merged with Uxbridge College, although it retains its individual identity. Harrow College was medium-sized and had over 2,400 full-time and 4,700 part-time learners as of 2013.

The Castle is a Grade II listed public house at West Street, Harrow-on-the-Hill, London.It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.The Castle can trace its roots back as far as 1716. The current building dates back to 1901. The building has Heritage status, with several listed features.

Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury is a Grade II listed Roman Catholic church at 22 Roxborough Park, Harrow-on-the-Hill, London.It was built in 1894 in a 14th-century style, and the architect was Arthur Young.

Uxenden Hall or Uxendon Hall was an English manor house near Harrow-on-the-Hill. In the sixteenth century it was inhabited by the Bellamy family.

Harrow-on-the-Hill is an interchange railway station in Harrow, served by suburban London Underground Metropolitan line services and commuter National Rail services on the London–Aylesbury line. It is 9 miles 18 chains (9.23 mi; 14.85 km) down the line from London Marylebone. Harrow-on-the-Hill is the final Metropolitan line stop from Central London before the line splits with the main branch towards Moor Park and the diverged Uxbridge branch towards Uxbridge. It is in Travelcard Zone 5.

Harrow on the Hill was an urban district in Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1934.It was created under the Local Government Act 1894. This Act split the historic parish of Harrow on the Hill several ways, with parts becoming the new parishes of Harrow Weald, Wealdstone and Wembley. The remaining part of the parish formed Harrow on the Hill urban district. It took in 101 acres (0.41 km2) from the disbanded parish of Northolt in 1928. In 1934 the district was abolished by a County Review Order, becoming part of the new Harrow Urban District; a precursor of the London Borough of Harrow.

Harrow bus station serves the town of Harrow in the London Borough of Harrow, Greater London, England. The station is owned and maintained by Transport for London. The bus station is on College Road situated approximately 100 metres away from Harrow-on-the-Hill rail and tube stations. The bus station is also across the road from the St Ann's Shopping Centre.There are five stands within the bus station. The main operators at the bus station are London Sovereign, Metroline and Arriva London.Buses go from Harrow as far afield as Watford, Ealing, Edgware, Brent Cross, Golders Green, Wembley, Heathrow Airport, Ruislip, Northolt, Greenford, Charing Cross (Night Bus), Bushey Heath and Northwood.

St. Anns is a shopping centre in Harrow town centre in Greater London, England. It has two entrances, one on College Road opposite Harrow-on-the-Hill station and another on the pedestrianised St Anns Road. The centre was opened in 1987 and currently covers 280,000 square feet of retail space.Like the St Anns Road street it is on, the centre does not officially use an apostrophe for "Ann".

Harrow Central was a parliamentary constituency in Harrow, London, which returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1950 until it was abolished for the 1983 general election.
