Westgate Entertainment District, formerly known as "Westgate City Center" is a mixed-use development in Glendale, Arizona. Westgate is described as a super-regional destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and commercial offices. Funded by millionaire New York architect Ron Elsensohn and anchored by the Desert Diamond Arena, the former home of the NHL team Arizona Coyotes, the complex has 8,000,000 sq ft (740,000 m2) of retail space and is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region, attracting over 22 million visitors annually. In 2011, the property went into foreclosure and reverted to lenders. The shopping center was reopened under the name Westgate Entertainment District, operated by Vestar Capital Partners, which also manages other properties in the Phoenix area.

State Farm Stadium is a multi-purpose retractable roof stadium in Glendale, Arizona, west of Phoenix. It is the home of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) and the annual Fiesta Bowl. It replaced Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe as the home of the Cardinals, adjacent to Desert Diamond Arena, former home of the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League. The stadium has been the host of the Fiesta Bowl since 2007. It hosted two BCS National Championship games in 2007 and 2011 respectively. It hosted the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2016, three Super Bowls (2008, 2015, and 2023), as well as the Pro Bowl in 2015. For soccer, it was one of the stadiums for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup also the first semi-final of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Copa América Centenario in 2016. For basketball, it hosted the NCAA Final Four in 2017, which is scheduled to return in 2024. The stadium opened in 2006 as Cardinals Stadium. Later that year in September, the University of Phoenix acquired naming rights, renaming it University of Phoenix Stadium, in what was then a 20-year agreement. It was renamed in September 2018 for insurance company State Farm, which has an 18-year naming rights deal.

Mattel Adventure Park is an upcoming theme park under construction in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb in the metropolitan area of Phoenix. It will be the first real-world attraction to feature properties adapted from toys and games manufactured by Mattel. The park is scheduled to open on an undisclosed date in 2024.

Raymond S. Kellis High School is a public secondary school located in Glendale, Arizona, United States, part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened its doors in August 2004 due to overcrowding at Peoria High School and rapid population growth in the surrounding area. The school is the district's fourth-largest, with approximately 1,850 students. Kellis High School is located near State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, and Desert Diamond Arena, former home of the Arizona Coyotes.

The Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) is a joint technological education district based in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It provides career and technical education services to ten school districts in the West Valley of Phoenix.

Copper Canyon High School is a public high school located in Glendale, Arizona, United States; it is part of the Tolleson Union High School District. The school opened its doors in August 2004 and had its first graduating class in May 2008. Copper Canyon High School requires students to wear student IDs to identify them as students, and are used to access lunch accounts and conduct business in the bookstore or library. CCHS has a security staff of four members on campus to help students follow the rules, and to maintain safety on campus. CCHS holds graduation ceremonies at the State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals.

It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned GEU by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA The airport's ICAO identifier is KGEU.

Camelback Ranch–Glendale is a baseball complex located in Phoenix, Arizona and owned by the city of Glendale. It is operated by Camelback Spring Training LLC. It is the spring training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. The main stadium holds 13,000 people. Camelback Ranch replaced Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, Florida as the Dodgers' spring training home, and Tucson Electric Park in Tucson, Arizona as the White Sox spring training home. The park is also home to the Arizona Complex League Dodgers, who moved to Camelback Ranch with the Major League team in 2009. The Arizona Complex League White Sox play there as of 2014, after the White Sox rejoined the Arizona rookie circuit. The stadium name is derived from the longstanding name of the property it is built on.Roger Bossard, White Sox head groundskeeper, designed and put in all of the fields for the Dodgers and the White Sox. During the park's first year, Dodger fans noted and expressed their dismay at the absence of the Dodger Dog at the ballpark concession stands. The following season, Dodger Dogs began to be sold at the ballpark.

KPXQ (1360 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station, airing a Christian talk and teaching radio format. It is licensed to Glendale, Arizona, and serves the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is owned by Salem Media Group with studios on East Camelback Road in Phoenix.By day, KPXQ is powered at 50,000 watts non-directional, the highest output for commercial AM stations. But to protect other stations on 1360 AM from interference, at night it reduces power to 500 watts and uses a directional antenna. The transmitter is on also on Camelback Road, but at a different location near North 73rd Avenue.

The West Valley is a region within the Phoenix metropolitan area, in central Arizona. It is located west of the Phoenix city limits, within Maricopa County, Arizona. The boundaries of the west valley is generally considered Interstate 17 in the east, Buckeye in west, the Sierra Estrella Mountains in the south, and Anthem in the north.

The Central School in Peoria, Arizona, at 10304 N. 83rd Ave., was built in 1906. It is a two-room schoolhouse, built in Mission Revival architecture and/or Spanish Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Its two classrooms are each 39 by 25 feet (11.9 m × 7.6 m) and are separated by an 11 feet (3.4 m) central hall.
