The Sun Bowl Amphiteathtre is an outdoor amphitheatre in Sun City, Arizona owned by Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc. It hosts numerous concerts, performances and other events geared towards the retirement communities of Sun City. The Sun Bowl complex comprises approximately 9.1 acres (37,000 m2), including a regulation softball field and parking area.

Marinette was a ghost town in Maricopa County, Arizona, located just northwest of Peoria, Arizona, along the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The site was promoted in the early 20th century for production of citrus fruit, apricots, olives, and other crops. The town was purchased by the Southwest Cotton company, a Goodyear subsidiary, in 1920. It existed until 1957, when the post office serving Marinette was moved to Youngtown. The place where Marinette once was later became the site of Del Webb Corporation's Sun City, Arizona.

Youngtown is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the town was 7,056, up from 6,156 in 2010. It is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Sun City is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, that is located within the Phoenix metropolitan area. The population was 39,931 as of the 2020 census. Its adjoining sister city is Sun City West. Both Sun Cities are retirement communities popular with snowbirds.

Peoria High School is a public secondary school located in Peoria, Arizona, United States, serving grades 9 to 12. It is the oldest high school in the Peoria Unified School District and opened in 1919; its original building Old Main was constructed in 1922, renovated in 2014, and named a Historic Place in 2019. The school enrolls around 1,500 students, 10% of which participate in the school's Advanced Placement program. There are over 40 clubs on campus, as well as a strong athletics program.

The Peoria Center for the Performing Arts is a community theater and event space located in the historic Old Town district of Peoria, Arizona. The building houses two theaters. The venue was completed and a dedication ceremony was held on December 15, 2006 as a joint venture with the City of Peoria and the theater company, Theater Works, who operates the building. Theater Works is a non-profit community theater company that operated out of the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts in Peoria, Arizona. The company produces more than 200 events a year for audiences of all ages, including their own productions as well as running and managing outside productions and rentals that use the arts center. Theater Works has the Mary Jane Gyder Theater, a 274 seat state-of-the-art “Main Stage” theater with stadium style seating, and the Constance W. McMillin Theater, an 80 seat Black Box theater. The company also has two classrooms, a set construction shop, a costume shop, dressing rooms, and office space for the theater’s staff.

The Central School in Peoria, Arizona, at 10304 N. 83rd Ave., was built in 1906. It is a two-room schoolhouse, built in Mission Revival architecture and/or Spanish Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Its two classrooms are each 39 by 25 feet (11.9 m × 7.6 m) and are separated by an 11 feet (3.4 m) central hall.

Raymond S. Kellis High School is a public secondary school located in Glendale, Arizona, United States, part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened its doors in August 2004 due to overcrowding at Peoria High School and rapid population growth in the surrounding area. The school is the district's fourth-largest, with approximately 1,850 students. Kellis High School is located near State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, and Desert Diamond Arena, former home of the Arizona Coyotes.

Westgate Entertainment District, formerly known as "Westgate City Center" is a mixed-use development in Glendale, Arizona. Westgate is described as a super-regional destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and commercial offices. Funded by millionaire New York architect Ron Elsensohn and anchored by the Desert Diamond Arena, the former home of the NHL team Arizona Coyotes, the complex has 8,000,000 sq ft (740,000 m2) of retail space and is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region, attracting over 22 million visitors annually. In 2011, the property went into foreclosure and reverted to lenders. The shopping center was reopened under the name Westgate Entertainment District, operated by Vestar Capital Partners, which also manages other properties in the Phoenix area.
