Colonial High School is a public high school located in Orlando, Florida, United States. Colonial serves grades 9–12 within the neighborhoods of Azalea Park, Engelwood Park, Rio Pinar, Lake Fredrica, Ventura, Pershing, Vista East, Vista Park and parts of unincorporated Orange County.

On June 5, 2017, John Robert Neumann Jr., a 45-year-old former employee of Fiamma, killed five former colleagues inside a FIamma Inc. location in Orlando, Florida, before killing himself. Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said Neumann did not appear to belong to any kind of subversive or terrorist group, and that he appeared to be a "disgruntled employee".

Naval Hospital Orlando is a former United States Navy hospital. The hospital was founded in 1968 when the Navy took over an Air Force facility. It was closed in 1995. The facility was transferred the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic.

Azalea Park is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 12,556 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Full Sail University is a private for-profit university in Winter Park, Florida. It was formerly a recording studio in Ohio named Full Sail Productions and Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts. The school moved to Florida in 1980 and began offering online degrees in 2007.Full Sail is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges to award associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees in audio, design, computer animation and business. In November 2018, it had approximately 8,921 students at its Winter Park Campus, as well as 10,250 students enrolled in online courses.

Winter Park High School (often simply abbreviated as WPHS) located in Winter Park, Florida, United States is one of nineteen public high schools in Orange County. Winter Park High School is a International Baccalaureate school and delivers Advanced Placement courses.

Orlando Christian Prep was founded in 1960, and is currently a ministry of Orlando Baptist Church. Considered one of the most established Christian schools in the greater Orlando area, OCP serves over 600 students from various backgrounds. The school is separated into four academic divisions including Pre-K (K2-K4), Elementary (K5-5th), Middle School (6th-8th), and High School (9th-12th).

Bob Mosher Track at Showalter Field is a multi-purpose stadium located at Cady Way Park in Winter Park, Florida. It is operated by Orange County Public Schools, and serves as the primary sports facility for Winter Park High School. It is also the home venue for National Premier Soccer League side Central Florida Panthers SC. The field was named after Bob Mosher to dedicate his 33-year career at Winter Park High School. Previously, Central Florida Kraze of the USL Premier Development League played home matches at the stadium. It has also hosted the FHSAA track and field finals through 2011. The current Showalter Field is on land that was once the Aloma Country Club, until the land was purchased by brothers Howard and Sandy Showalter, and was turned into an upscale airpark for flying lessons and charter flights. In 1963 the land was purchased and changed to its present use On February 24, 1995, the US Women's National Team defeated Denmark 7–0 in a match held at the venue. Michelle Akers scored a hat trick and Mia Hamm scored two goals.

The Little Econ Greenway is a multiuse trail in Orange County, Florida, United States, maintained by Orange County Parks and Recreation. The Little Econ Greenway runs 7.5 miles from Forsyth Road to Alafaya Trail. From the east, the trail follows Lokanotosa Road before turning off behind University High School. The first road crossing from the east is Rouse Road which jogs to the north. The trail follows the Little Econlockhatchee River, past Blanchard Park, and under two underpasses (at Dean Road and at Econlockhatchee Trail). Two road crossing are at Harrell Road and Goldenrod Road as the trail continues to its western terminus at Forsyth Road. A few miles north of this trail, the Cady Way Trail also crosses Forsyth Road, a direct link is planned in the future. From the Cady Way Trail, the Orange County Trail System links to the Cross Seminole Trail.

The Crealdé School of Art is a non-profit arts organization in Winter Park, Florida. Opened in 1975, the school offers visual and three-dimensional arts classes for all ages, a summer art camp, and a visiting artist workshop series.

Orlando Fashion Square is a split one-story, two-story indoor shopping mall located in Orlando, Florida. Opened in 1973, it features 79 stores in over one million square feet of shop space. The mall's anchor stores are Macy's, Floor & Decor, and Dillard's Clearance Center. Predating the mall's opening was a Sears department store opened in 1963; this store closed in 2016 and has been razed for redevelopment. JCPenney, another anchor store closed in 2020. Other major tenants include Premiere Cinemas and Planet Fitness. The mall is managed by UP Development, Inc.

The Cady Way Trail is a 6.5-mile (10.5 km) rail trail in the Orlando, Florida area opened in 1994. It is partly owned by the Orlando Department of Families, Parks and Recreation and partly by Orange County Parks and Recreation. The project was awarded a $1,750,000 Transportation Enhancement grant by the Federal Highway Administration and the Florida Department of Transportation, and a $483,000 grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
