Vinehall Street

Vinehall School is a co-educational day, boarding school and nursery located near the town of Robertsbridge, East Sussex. It takes children from ages 2 to 13. The school received an Independent Schools Inspectorate. The school received a full inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in February 2018. Vinehall School was inspected by Ofsted in 2011.

Mountfield Halt (TQ 746 197 50°57′01″N 0°29′12″E) was situated on the Hastings Line between Robertsbridge and Battle. It opened in 1923 and was closed on 6 October 1969. Both platforms were built of sleepers. The station stood just east of Battle Road (A2100) level crossing.There are no remains of the halt today.

Mountfield is a village and civil parish in the Rother district of East Sussex, England, and three miles (5 km) north-west of Battle. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book.The parish church is dedicated to All Saints; Mountfield and Whatlington Church of England Primary School is at the road junction in the nearby hamlet of Johns Cross by the A21 and the A2100 roads further north.

Whatlington is a village and civil parish in the Rother district of East Sussex, England. The village is seven miles (11 km) north of Hastings, just off the A21 road. The village is in two parts, one in the valley on the road from Battle, where the church and the parish hall lie on either side of the stream, and one a mile or so further on the main A21 to Hastings, with a triangular village green in front of the Royal Oak pub and restaurant. The Norman parish church is dedicated to St Mary Magdalene; the yew tree which stood there until 1987 was traditionally thought to be one thousand years old, and to have been used by William the Conqueror to hang members of King Harold's personal guard. Malcolm Muggeridge lived with his family in Whatlington; both he and his wife are buried in the churchyard. On the main road a now disused chapel serves as a commercial business.The early feminist Barbara Bodichon was born here in 1827.

Durhamford Manor is a Grade II* listed country house in the parish of Sedlescombe, East Sussex, England. The timber-framed, close-studded house dates to the early 16th century. The north front features a gable with scalloped bargeboards.

Sedlescombe organic vineyard is an English vineyard located in Robertsbridge, just outside Sedlescombe in East Sussex.It is one of the few British vineyards to produce red wine, an all-organic vineyard established in 1979.

Cripps Corner is a village in the civil parish of Ewhurst and the Rother district of East Sussex, England. It is in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and on a southern ridge of the valley of the River Rother which flows through Bodiam, 2.5 miles (4 km) to the north of Cripps Corner.Cripps Corner is one of three settlements in Ewhurst parish, the others being Staplecross and Ewhurst Green to the north. The village borders, and extends over the north-east edge of Sedlescombe civil parish, and is 24 miles (40 km) east-northeast from the county town of Lewes, and 2 miles (3 km) east from the A21 road which in East Sussex runs north to south from Flimwell to Hastings. The village is centred on the convergence of three roads forming an open triangle. These roads are the B2165 which runs from Cripps Corner to Beckley at the north-east; the B2089 from the A21 road at the west to Rye at the east; and the B2244 from The Moor (village) in Hawkhurst at the north to Sedlescombe at the south, which within the settlement is named Junction Road.A viaduct carries the B2089 over the B2244. It was built in 1834 by Stephen Putnam of St Leonards-on-Sea who was responsible for the improvement of the East Sussex section of the road between the Medway towns and Hastings. Putnam followed the designs of Thomas Telford who had, a short while beforehand, been responsible for road-over-road bridges in Kent.The closest school is Staplecross Methodist Primary School to the north in Staplecross. To the north-east, adjacent to the village on the B2165 to Staplecross, is a garden centre and a plant nursery. To the north on the B2244 is a Glamping site. To the west on the B2089 is a pet supplies company; and, at Swaile's Green, a furniture maker & seller. Adjacent at the south, on the B2244 in Sedlescombe, is an organic vineyard and a small light industrial site. Opposite the vineyard is the site venue for the annual 'Big Green Cardigan', a multi-genre music event for approximately 500 people.Cripps Corner is connected by bus to Hastings, Bodiam, and Hawkhurst (349); Etchingham, Sedlescombe, and Bexhill-on-Sea (360); Westfield, Northiam, Staplecross, and Robertsbridge (381); Westfield, and Robertsbridge (382); Peasmarsh, Sedlescombe, and Robertsbridge (383); and Mountfield, Broad Oak, and Battle (B72). The closest railway station is 2.5 miles (4 km) north at Bodiam, part of the heritage Kent and East Sussex Railway linking to the town of Tenterden to the north-east. The closest National Rail station is at Robertsbridge on the Hastings line, 3 miles (5 km) to the north-west, linking to Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.

Salehurst Halt was a halt station on the Kent and East Sussex Railway which served the village of Salehurst in East Sussex, England. The station was reached by a footpath leading south from the village church in Salehurst. Closed in 1954, Salehurst Halt may yet see trains again as the Rother Valley Railway, a preservation society, is proposing to reopen the line from Robertsbridge to Bodiam, including the line through the halt.

Robertsbridge Abbey was a Cistercian abbey in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, England. It was founded in 1176 by Alured and Alicia de St Martin. Due to its position, the Abbey lands suffered continually from the effects of the sea, and it was never rich or prominent. The abbey was eventually forcibly surrendered in 1538 by the abbot Thomas Taylor, and dissolved as part of the Dissolution of the Monasteries. There were then eight monks. The property afterwards passed to Sir William Sydney.The main surviving part of the Abbey is the Abbot's house, built circa 1250, formerly a farmhouse but now part of a private residence. The building is mainly of stone rubble with some red brick and brick buttresses at the back, weather-boarded at the gable end with a steeply-pitched tiled roof. Beneath the building is a crypt. The house is a grade I listed building.In the garden of the house are the ruins of a rectangular building of stone rubble which was part of the Frater which are separately grade II* listed.

King's Mead Mill (also Battle Windmill or Caldbec Hill Mill) is a grade II listed smock mill at Battle, Sussex, England, which has been converted to residential accommodation.

Robertsbridge United Reformed Church (originally Robertsbridge Congregational Chapel) is a former United Reformed Church place of worship in Robertsbridge, a village in the district of Rother in the English county of East Sussex. Built for Congregational worshippers in 1881 following their secession from a long-established Wesleyan Methodist chapel, it was the third Nonconformist place of worship in the village, whose nearest parish church was in the neighbouring settlement of Salehurst. Like the former Strict Baptist and Methodist chapels in the village, which have both closed, it no longer serves Robertsbridge as a place of worship. Local architect Thomas Elworthy's distinctive design—a "rich" and highly decorated blend of several styles—has divided opinion amongst architectural historians. English Heritage has listed the church at Grade II for its architectural and historical importance.

The Seven Stars Inn is a 14th-century public house in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, a well-preserved example of a medieval building and a typical Sussex village pub. It is associated with historical events, both real and rumoured. As of at least autumn 2016, it was closed for business.
