Esterra Park is a transit-oriented development under construction in the Overlake area of Redmond, Washington. The 28-acre (11 ha), 3.0 million square feet (280,000 m2) project is near major regional shopping and employment centers and multiple modes of transportation, including the future Overlake Village light rail station scheduled to open in 2023. The Esterra Park campus is expected to be home to a combined 8,000 residents and workers.

Overlake Village station is a future light rail station in Redmond, Washington, United States. It will be an at-grade station on the East Link Extension, part of Sound Transit's Link light rail station. The station will serve the Overlake neighborhood and its existing park and ride. Construction began on the station in 2017 and it is expected to open in 2023.

Overlake is the name for a region comprising parts of eastern Bellevue and southern Redmond, Washington. It is in the vicinity of Microsoft's main corporate campus and is officially defined as a neighborhood consisting of the parts of Redmond lying south of Northeast 60th Street and between 148th Avenue Northeast and Bellevue-Redmond Road. The Overlake area, so named because it is located across Lake Washington from Seattle, straddles the boundaries of Bellevue and Redmond and is considered to have its own identity distinct from those of both cities. Aside from Microsoft, the area is home to a number of corporate campuses, including the headquarters of Nintendo of America, and includes a busy retail district along 148th Avenue N.E. and N.E. 24th Street. It is also the home of the Civil Air Patrol Overlake Composite Squadron.Historically, the term referred to a much larger region of King County that is collectively known today as the Eastside.

Crossroads is a neighborhood in Bellevue, Washington. It is situated in the north and eastern portion of the city, lying south of Bellevue-Redmond Road, east of Bellevue's Wilburton neighborhood, and north of Lake Hills.The Crossroads area was originally referred to as "Highlands". During the latter half of the 1800s and into the early twentieth century, its land was largely used for timber harvesting. By the 1920s, farming had taken hold in the present-day Crossroads and Lake Hills areas, much of it conducted by Japanese immigrants. This agricultural activity was abruptly curtailed following the Japanese American Internment in 1942, and the farmland was quickly replaced by suburban housing during the post-war years. The Crossroads area was annexed by Bellevue in 1964. The Crossroads Shopping Center opened in 1962, and following revitalization efforts by Ron Sher starting in 1988, now serves as a vibrant unofficial community center. By the early 2000s, Crossroads had become the second-most densely populated area of Bellevue, following the downtown area. The non-white population in the Crossroads neighborhood exceeded 60 percent by 2010.

The Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) is a Microsoft sponsored team of international legal and internet security experts employing the latest tools and technologies to stop or interfere with cyber crime and cyber threats. The Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit was assembled in 2008. In 2013, a Cybercrime center for the DCU was opened in Redmond, Washington. There are about 100 members of the DCU stationed just in Redmond, Washington at the original Cybercrime Center. Members of the DCU include lawyers, data scientists, investigators, forensic analysts, and engineers. The DCU has international offices located in major cities such as: Beijing, Berlin, Bogota, Delhi, Dublin, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Washington, D.C. The DCU's main focuses are child protection, copyright infringement and malware crimes. The DCU must work closely with law enforcement to ensure the perpetrators are punished to the full extent of the law. The DCU has taken down many major botnets such as the Citadel, Rustock, and Zeus. Around the world malware has cost users about $113 billion and the DCU's jobs is to shut them down in accordance with the law.

Redmond Technology station, formerly Overlake Transit Center, is a bus station and future light rail station in Redmond, Washington, United States. The current bus station opened in 2002 and is located on the headquarters campus of Microsoft; it is served by Sound Transit Express and King County Metro. In 2023, it will become the eastern terminus of Line 2 of Sound Transit's Link light rail system.

Interlake High School (IHS) is a public secondary school in Bellevue, Washington, one of the four traditional high schools in the Bellevue School District. Its mascot is a Saint Bernard named Bernie, and the school's sports teams are known as the "Saints."

Building 92 on the campus contains a visitor center (with interactive exhibits) and store that are open to the public.

Odle Middle School is a public middle school in the Crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington, United States. The school is one of seven middle schools in the Bellevue School District, and was named posthumously after Frank Odle, who taught in the district for 55 years before retiring in 1968. Odle is located near Stevenson Elementary, formerly a primary feeder elementary school for Odle. Odle is primarily known for its hosting of the ALS program, a gifted program for high-performing children. As of the 2019–20 school year, the school's principal is Aaron Miller and its assistant principals are Renee Del-Barut Fierro and Danielle Virata.In the 2001–02 school year, Odle Middle School was one of two schools in the state to be awarded a Blue Ribbon by the U.S. Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive.

The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle (JDS) is the oldest community Jewish day school in the Pacific Northwest. according to its mission statement adopted in 2012, JDS serves "to provide an exceptional education that empowers Jewish children to be confident, wise, and compassionate upstanders who are committed to life-long learning and community stewardship." JDS offers an integrated curriculum of Judaic studies and general studies focusing on the "whole student," from Pre-Kindergarten to grade 8.

Washington's 48th legislative district is one of forty-nine districts in Washington state for representation in the state legislature. It covers areas of Redmond, Bellevue (including West Lake Sammamish), and Kirkland, and it encompasses Clyde Hill, Yarrow Point, Hunts Point, and Medina. It also contains Bridle Trails State Park and Marymoor Park. The district's legislators are state senator Patty Kuderer and state representatives Vandana Slatter (position 1) and Amy Walen (position 2), all Democrats.
