Hearn Plaza

Wait Chapel is a building on the campus of Wake Forest University. The first building constructed on the university's Reynolda campus, in October 1956, it is named for Samuel Wait, the university's first president. Its steeple reaches to 213 feet. The chapel stands on the northeastern side of Hearn Plaza (Upper Quad), opposite Reynolda Hall. The chapel, which seats 2,250 people, houses the Janet Jeffrey Carlile Harris Carillon of 48 bells and the Williams Organ, donated by Walter McAdoo Williams, namesake of Walter M. Williams High School. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke at Wait Chapel on October 11, 1962. On March 17, 1978, president Jimmy Carter made a major National Security address in the chapel. In 1988, it hosted a presidential debate between George H. W. Bush and Michael Dukakis. On October 11, 2000, it hosted the presidential debate between candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore. On September 13, 2007, it hosted a broadcast of National Public Radio (NPR) show, Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. The show aired on September 15. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. spoke here in November 2011. A private memorial ceremony for Dr. Maya Angelou was held in Wait Chapel on June 7, 2014. Attendees included first lady Michelle Obama, president Bill Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey.The chapel is linked to a vast underground series of tunnels crisscrossing the campus carrying utilities.The congregation of Wake Forest Baptist Church holds regular Sunday services in the chapel. In the late 1990s the chapel became the center of controversy when members of the church decided to conduct a same-sex commitment ceremony; this became the subject of the documentary A Union in Wait. Other events held in the chapel throughout the year, include a Moravian lovefeast during the Christmas season.

Reynolda Hall is the main building on the Reynolda Campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is located on the southeastern side of Hearn Plaza (also known as the Upper Quad), opposite Wait Chapel, while the rear of the building overlooks Manchester Plaza (Magnolia Quad or Lower Quad). The building, which opened in 1956, is named for Reynolda, the country estate of the family of R. J. Reynolds, a prominent businessman in Winston-Salem. Reynolda is the Latin feminine for Reynolds, a naming convention aimed to recognize the role Katharine Smith Reynolds, wife of R. J., had in the development of the estate.Reynolda Hall contains a cafeteria (nicknamed The Pit), the Green Room study area, the Magnolia Room dining hall and administrative offices.

Wake Forest University School of Divinity is an ecumenical divinity school located on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The School offers a Master of Divinity degree as well several joint degree programs in cooperation with other graduate programs at the university in bioethics, counseling, education, law, and sustainability. The school has 19 faculty.

Wake Forest University (WFU) is a private research university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States. Founded in 1834, the university received its name from its original location in Wake Forest, north of Raleigh, North Carolina. The Reynolda Campus, the university's main campus, has been located north of downtown Winston-Salem since the university moved there in 1956. The Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist medical campus has two locations, the older one located near the Ardmore neighborhood in central Winston-Salem, and the newer campus at Wake Forest Innovation Quarter downtown. The Winston-Salem Open is a men's professional tennis tournament played on the ATP Tour at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in the United States. It made its debut at Winston-Salem in 2011 and is part of the 250 tier of events. The tournament was previously staged in Long Island and New Haven before it was sold and relocated to Winston-Salem, creating a new tournament.The Winston-Salem Open was awarded the 2016 ATP Tour 250 Tournament of the Year.

Reynolds Gymnasium is a multi-purpose arena located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the campus of Wake Forest University. The arena was completed in March 1956 after the university relocated to Winston-Salem from its namesake town in Wake County. Originally the home of Wake Forest women's (and on rare occasions, men's) basketball, Reynolds Gym currently plays host to the women's volleyball program, something it has done since 1971. The basketball teams now call Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, adjacent to the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds, home. In addition to the gym's purpose as a volleyball venue it also houses health and exercise science offices and labs, ROTC rooms, and a sports medicine center.

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library (also known as ZSR Library) is the main library of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. An eight-story building, it is located on the university's main (Reynolda) campus, a short distance south of the T. K. Hearn Plaza (the quad). The library opened in 1956. The four-story Wilson Wing was added in 1991.The building is named for Zachary Smith Reynolds (1911–1932), the son of R. J. Reynolds, a prominent businessman in Winston-Salem. The library is open to students and faculty in the Undergraduate College, the Wake Forest School of Business, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Wake Forest Divinity School.Its 173,000 square feet (16,100 m2) contains over 1.2 million volumes, while its circulation is over 100,000 per year.A coffeehouse in the library is run by Camino Bakery.

Kentner Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the campus of Wake Forest University. Kentner Stadium serves as home to the Demon Deacons track and field and field hockey teams. It also housed the Deacon soccer teams until they moved across campus to Spry Stadium. It can seat up to 4,000 spectators and is named for Jeff Kentner, of Charlotte, North Carolina who donated large sums of money to the university. The stadium has also been used by area Special Olympic events.

The Calloway School of Business and Accountancy is the undergraduate business school of Wake Forest University. It is named after Wayne Calloway, who was the Chairman and former CEO of PepsiCo, Inc. In the 2012 BusinessWeek Undergraduate Business Schools Rankings, the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy is ranked 1st in the Academic Quality and Hardest Working categories, and 19th overall. The Wayne Calloway Center, in which the School of Business and Accountancy is housed, was formerly known as Babcock Hall. The school's stated mission is: To enhance business and society, through our teaching and scholarship.

W. Dennie Spry Soccer Stadium (usually called Spry Stadium) is a soccer-specific stadium located on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where it is home to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer and women's soccer teams. Opened in 1996, W. Dennie Spry Soccer Stadium is home to the Wake Forest men's and women's soccer programs. Considered one of the top soccer facilities in the country, the 3,000-seat stadium is considered a jewel in Wake Forest's family of athletic facilities and gives the Demon Deacons a true home field advantage. The Spry Stadium complex features a fully lit natural grass playing field along with two lit natural grass practice fields. The facility also includes a state-of-the-art scoreboard and sound system, locker rooms for both the men's and women's teams, a pressbox with rooftop observation deck and concession stands. The Deacons regularly play in front of packed crowds, as the campus and local communities support the men's and women's teams. A strong contingent of students can always be found on the hill overlooking the north side of the stadium. Spry Stadium has hosted several major soccer events. The ACC Tournament has been contested four times at Spry: the women's tournament was held there in 1997, while the men's event was held at the venue for three straight years from 1998 to 2000. In March 2001, Spry Stadium hosted a Major League Soccer exhibition match between the Miami Fusion and D.C. United and an exhibition match between Wake Forest and the United States U-17 National Team. Spry Stadium will be one of the hosts for the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament and the 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The Wake Forest University School of Law is one of the professional graduate schools of Wake Forest University. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wake Forest University School of Law is a private American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). The school was established in 1894. The current dean is Andrew R. Klein. As of 2021, Wake Forest University School of Law has 44 Resident Faculty Members, 43 Extended Faculty Members, 8 Law Librarians, and 20 School Administrators.The school is known for emphasizing small classes, and the entering class in 2022 had 159 students, divided amongst four sections of approximately 40 students each. The entering class had a median LSAT score of 165 and media GPA of 3.72.According to Wake Forest's official ABA-required disclosures, 96.5% of the Class of 2021 obtained full-time, long-term, Bar-required or JD Advantage employment within 10 months after graduation. Of those graduates, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., and Florida accounted for the most popular employment locations.The bar passage rate in North Carolina for the Class of 2021 was 95.7% and the overall bar passage rate was 94.27%.
