Köln Hansaring railway station is situated in the city of Cologne in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, about one kilometre northwest of Köln Hauptbahnhof. A few hundred metres west of the station is the Betriebsbahnhof Köln Hansaring Wendeanlage (Köln Hansaring operations station reversing facility). At the station Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 11 branches off towards Neuss Hauptbahnhof via Köln-Nippes station and Köln-Chorweiler on the Lower Left Rhine Railway from S-Bahn line S 12, which runs parallel to the Cologne–Aachen high-speed railway to Düren via Köln-Ehrenfeld and Köln-Weiden West station. The station (which is classified as a Haltepunkt, that is a "halt", which is defined as having no set of points) and the operating station together form the western end of the trunk line of the Cologne S-Bahn (which is operated as part of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn). It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. The S-Bahn trains stop here on an island platform, which has a length of 145 metres. A large part of the platform is located on a bridge over a street called Hansaring. There is a covered connection between the Hansaring S-Bahn station and the Hansaring station of the Cologne Stadtbahn in the median strip of the Hansaring.

St. Agnes is a neogothic Catholic church in Neustadt-Nord, Cologne, Germany. It was consecrated in 1902 and is the second-largest church in Cologne after the Cologne cathedral. St. Agnes is 80 metres (260 ft) long, 40 metres (130 ft) wide and occupies an area of 2,155 square metres (23,200 sq ft). The tower has a height of 61 metres (200 ft). The church is named after Agnes of Rome.

The Hansahochhaus is a skyscraper in the Neustadt-Nord quarter of north-central Cologne. When constructed in 1924-25 it was the city's first skyscraper, and one of the first skyscrapers in Germany. It was designed as an office building in the Expressionist style by the local architect, Jacob Koerfer. It was constructed in just 135 working days, which was considered less than the time taken to erect comparable buildings in the United States where skyscrapers were already becoming mainstream by the 1920s, but construction of the Hansahochhaus was subject to interruptions so the total construction period stretched over 15 months. With 17 floors and a total height of 65 meters, for a brief period following its construction the Hansahochhaus was Europe's tallest buildingIt is currently protected under historic monument legislation.

Ebertplatz is a major underground station on the Cologne Stadtbahn lines 12, 15, 16 and 18, located in Cologne. The station lies at Ebertplatz on the Cologne Ring in the district of Innenstadt.

Hansagymnasium Köln is a Gymnasium in Cologne, Germany and has about 800 pupils. The school was founded in 1899 as a business school. Until 1941 its name was Oberrealschule am Hansaring.

Lohsestraße is a station on the Cologne Stadtbahn lines 12 and 15, located in the Cologne district of Nippes. The station lies on Neusser Straße, adjacent to nearby Lohsestraße, after which the station is named. The station was opened in 1974 and consists of two side platforms with two rail tracks.

The Basilica church of St. Ursula (German: [ˌzaŋt ˈʔʊʁzula], Colognian: [ˌtsɪnt ˈʔoʒəla]) is located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is built upon the ancient ruins of a Roman cemetery, where the 11,000 virgins associated with the legend of Saint Ursula are said to have been buried. The church has an impressive reliquary created from the bones of the former occupants of the cemetery. It is one of the twelve Romanesque churches of Cologne and was designated a Minor Basilica on 25 June 1920. While the nave and main tower are Romanesque, the choir has been rebuilt in the Gothic style.
