Kitsilano () is a neighbourhood located in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Kitsilano is named after Squamish chief August Jack Khatsahlano, and the neighbourhood is located in Vancouver's West Side along the south shore of English Bay, between the neighbourhoods of West Point Grey and Fairview. The area is mostly residential with two main commercial areas, West 4th Avenue and West Broadway, known for their retail stores, restaurants and organic food markets.

Greektown in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is an area in the Kitsilano neighborhood that was historically an enclave of Greek immigrants and their descendants. The term is an informal one, and Greektown's borders are not strictly defined; however, West Broadway around Trutch Street is generally considered the neighbourhood's heart, while Blenheim St to the west and MacDonald St to the east are approximately its outer limits. Vancouverites of Greek descent, who live in Kitsilano, nostalgically also call the area Ουέστ Μπροντουέι (literally "West Broadway").This Greek identity has waned considerably since the area first became a community of exiles during the dictatorship in Greece of the 1960s and early 1970s, and the primary markers of Greektown are St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral located at the intersection of Arbutus Street and Valley Drive, the local Athens Social Club, a Greek supermarket, and a higher-than-average concentration of Greek restaurants. There is also a Greek Senior Citizen Society. St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral been noted for its traditional Byzantine Icons. St. George's Hellenic Community of Vancouver (attached to the cathedral with the same patron saint), holds every year a Greek Food Festival from October 20 to October 22. The Hellenic Cultural Festival takes place every June in Kitsilano. The highlight is Greek Day, when Broadway is closed to vehicle traffic between MacDonald and Blenheim for free, family-oriented festivities. The festival is part of an ongoing effort to restore the Greek identity of Greektown.

Kitsilano Secondary School is a public secondary school in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The school has several district programs including French immersion and on-site pre-employment. Advanced Placement courses are also offered.

Duthie Books was a chain of bookstores operating in Vancouver from 1957-2010. It was founded by Bill Duthie, "a storied bookseller who championed authors and wheeled-and-dealed with publishers, becoming a fixture on the Canadian literary scene." The stores were run by his three children – Cathy, Celia, and David – following his death in 1984. The first store opened on Robson Street near the public library. The shop had expanded to locations on W. 10th Avenue, Seymour Street, Hastings Street, and the Arbutus Village by the time of Duthie's death. A series of expansions through the 1990s led to a peak of ten shops throughout the city, but also left the bookseller in poor financial condition. The company declared bankruptcy in 1999. A single store remained open at 2239 West 4th Avenue, which closed in January 2010, causing widespread commentary about the death of this landmark Vancouver book store.

St. John's School, in Vancouver, British Columbia, is an independent, co-educational, non-religious, IB World School for junior kindergarten to grade 12 students. St. John's School is accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. The school is a member of the Federation of Independent Schools Association (FISA), the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), and the Independent Schools Association of British Columbia (ISABC). St. John's offers the International Baccalaureate's Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.

Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, especially in the warm summer months. Located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, the beach faces out onto English Bay.

Arbutus Ridge is an affluent residential neighbourhood in Vancouver's West Side. It is bordered by 16th Avenue in the north, 41st Avenue in the south, Mackenzie Street in the west, and East Boulevard in the east. The neighbourhood is characterized by larger than average lot sizes, with stately homes on tree-lined streets. One of the catalysts for growth in the neighbourhood was the existence of the Vancouver-Steveston Interurban route of the British Columbia Electric Railway, which ran between 1905 and 1958. The route once followed by the interurban is now part of the Arbutus Greenway.

Arbutus is a planned underground station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It will be located at the northeast corner of the intersection of West Broadway and Arbutus Street in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and will be the western terminus of the Millennium Line when completed. Originally scheduled to open in 2025, the station's projected opening was pushed back to early 2026 in November 2022.The station will provide a connection to the Arbutus Greenway. Passengers continuing to the University of British Columbia (UBC) will have to transfer to a 99 B-Line bus to continue west along Broadway. As the planned new eastern terminus of the 99 B-Line, the station design includes a bus loop. There have been proposals to extend the Millennium Line all the way to UBC, but as of May 2020, funding for that proposal had not been committed. Federal funding was being discussed as of February 2021.

Vancouver Independent School for Science and Technology (VISST) is a charity and not-for-profit independent school with a STEM focus. It is located in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Madrona School Society is a not-for-profit independent school located in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a focus on gifted education. Subjects are taught in small groups based on students' ability levels. On average, the student-teacher ratio is between 6:1 and 14:1. Currently, the school offers Kindergarten through Grade 8.

Bessborough Armoury is a Canadian Forces armoury located at 2025 West 11th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia.

15th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA, is a Primary Reserve Royal Canadian Artillery (RCA) regiment based in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Bessborough Armoury. 15th Field Regiment is part of the 39 Canadian Brigade Group of 3rd Canadian Division. The regiment was created in 1920 as one of the recommendations of the Otter Committee. In the Second World War it manned the coastal defence artillery guns that protected the Port of Vancouver. After the war the regiment reverted to field artillery. While the regiment has never deployed overseas, several of its members have individually participated in Canadian Forces missions overseas.This unit is not the same 15th Field Artillery Regiment (4th Canadian Armoured Division) that served in the Second World War.
