Kemzeke is a village in the Belgian municipality of Stekene in the province of East-Flanders. Until 1977, it was an independent municipality. It is located between the Dutch border and Sint-Niklaas.

Belsele is a village and a deelgemeente of the municipality of Sint-Niklaas, which is situated in the Belgian province of East Flanders.

Stekene (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈsteːkənə]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. Since 1976, the municipality has comprised the towns of Kemzeke, Klein-Sinaai and Stekene proper. It also includes the village Koewacht. In 2021, Stekene had a total population of 18,863. The total area is 44.80 km².Stekene profiles itself as an oasis of green within industrialized Flanders as a large part of its area consists of forests and agricultural lands. The E34 road, from Antwerp to the coast, passes through the municipality and also has its own access to it. Another part of the community is the N403, which connects to Sint-Niklaas.

Sint-Gillis-Waas (Dutch pronunciation: [sɪnt ˌxɪlɪs ˈʋaːs]; French: Saint-Gilles-Waes) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of De Klinge, Meerdonk, Sint-Gillis-Waas proper and Sint-Pauwels. On 1 January 2018, Sint-Gillis-Waas had a total population of 19,273. The total area is 54.98 km² which gives a population density of 357 inhabitants per km².

Sint-Niklaas (Dutch: [ˌsɪnt nɪˈklaːs] ; French: Saint-Nicolas, [sɛ̃ nikɔla]) is a Belgian city and municipality located in the Flemish province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Sint-Niklaas proper and the towns of Belsele, Nieuwkerken-Waas, and Sinaai. Sint-Niklaas is the capital and major city of the Waasland region straddling the East Flanders and Antwerp provinces. The city is known for having the largest market square in Belgium. At one point this square also boasted the largest Christmas tree, and the largest easter egg in Europe.

Kapellebrug is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Hulst, and lies about 31 km southwest of Bergen op Zoom. The village was first mentioned in 1459 as ter Eecken, and is a combination of chapel and bridge.Kapellebrug was home to 278 people in 1840. The village used to be split in the municipalities Sint Jansteen and Clinge. In 1970, it became part of the municipality of Hulst.

De Klinge is a Belgian town and part of the municipality of Sint-Gillis-Waas in the province of East Flanders (Oost-Vlaanderen), is located on the border with the Netherlands province of Zeeland and within the non-administrative region known as the Waasland or the Land van Waas. On the Dutch side of the border the town is called Clinge and is part of the municipality of Hulst. Sint-Niklaas is 10 kilometres south of De Klinge. The nearest large Belgian city is Antwerp (Antwerpen) to the east. The town is bordered by many forests, including the Stropersbos (the Stroper Forest), which are excellent for cycling and walking. The dialect of Dutch spoken in De Klinge is called Klings, an East Flemish dialect. In the past there were several makers of clogs (wooden shoes) or klompen as they are called in Dutch. A statue called De Klomp stands in the middle of the round-about on the road from Sint-Gillis-Waas where the Bergstraat, Hogenakkerstraat, and Klingedijkstraat meet. Every July a kermis festival, called the Klingse Kalsei Braderij is held on the main cobblestone street, Klingedorp. The town also has an abbey beer called Klingse Kalsei which is available during this festival and features the Klingedorpstraat on its label. This beer is not actually brewed in De Klinge but in Ertvelde by Van Steenberghe Brewery.

Thermidor was restaurant in Kapellebrug, Hulst, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1973. In 1975, it was again awarded a Michelin star and retained that rating until 1981.Rien Versprille was head chef.The building became a gambling house until it was closed down by the Dutch Revenue Service in 2002. The building is demolished after a fire in 2004.

Sint-Niklaas railway station (Dutch: Station Sint-Niklaas, French: Gare de Saint-Nicolas) is a railway station in Sint-Niklaas, East Flanders, Belgium. The original station opened on 3 November 1844 on railway line 59. The current station was built in 1972 by the architects Ludwig Van Wilder and Omer De Grootte. The train services are operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB).

Walburg Castle (Dutch: Kasteel Walburg) is a 16th-century castle in the East Flemish city of Sint-Niklaas. The castle dates from the 16th century. In 1553 knight Willem van Waelwijck built his moated castle within walking distance of the market. He named his castle after his wife, Walburgis. The former domain consisted of an orchard, a garden and two country roads. The castle changed hands several times and, among other things, it was turned into a brewery in 1618. In the 19th century it came into the hands of the Van Naemen family and the castle was renovated. The park was also converted into an English garden.The castle was acquired by the municipality in 1949. The park was opened to the public in 1952. After the death of the mayor Romain De Vidts, the park was renamed Romain De Vidtspark. In 1975 the castle and the park were registered as protected monuments.
