The Jaffery Sports Club Ground is a cricket ground situated in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosted its first ODI international during the 2007 World Cricket League in Kenya. The Ground is owned by a sect of the Muslim community in Nairobi. Hence most of the players in the Club team are Islamic. This club plays host to the matches of the Nairobi Jaffery Sports Club from the Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association. Many of the young players from the cricket team have gone on to represent Kenya at various levels including Kenya, Kenya 'A', and at junior levels. A few players from this club have also gone on to represent different teams at the Sahara Elite League. A few of these players include Charles Obuya (Eastern Aces), and Ashwin Prabhakar (Southern Stars, Kenya 'A').

The Kenya High School is a public girls' high school located on Mandera Road in the upmarket Kileleshwa suburb of Westlands Sub-County in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi. The school, which follows the national curriculum, is one of Kenya's 112 national schools and also one of the 18 prestigious Cluster III secondary schools. Located on a 150-acre campus some six Km from the Central Business District, the institution caters for 1500+ students who attend Forms 1-4 (= US grades 9-12) in seven streams, at the end of which the students sit for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. It is primarily a boarding school and accepts day-scholars on a case-by-case basis. The Kenya High School consistently performs well in national secondary exams, and has enforced a proper code of conduct to be followed by all.

Strathmore School is Kenya's first multi-racial school, established in 1961 in the Lavington area of Nairobi. It began as a residential Sixth Form College offering British-styled A-level courses and in 1963 switched from the Cambridge School Certificate Examination to the London GCE. In 1977 it became a full-fledged Secondary school. In 1988, the school began offering education under the KCSE - Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education - curricula which it follows to date. The first batch of Primary school students (6-7 year olds) entered in 1987. It no longer has any boarders.

The Refugee Consortium of Kenya (Refugee Consortium of Kenya) also called Haki House (Right House), is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1998 by Ms. Abi Gitari to address the increasingly complex and deteriorating refugee situation in Kenya, the Great Lakes, and the Horn of Africa Region. RCK was founded by Ms. Abi Gitari and Justice Mbogholi Msagha as a co-founder. Eunice Ndonga-Githinji is its current Executive Director.

Kianda School is a private, all-girls day school with a Catholic ethos located in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Kenya. The school was opened in 1977 by The Kianda Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to better Kenyan women's lives through education and Christian values. The school began with 40 students but has now grown to a student body of about 830 in both its primary and secondary school sections.
