The Tourny avenues (lit. English for Allées de Tourny) are located in the city center of Périgueux, in the French department of Dordogne. Their history dates back to the 18th century, when Intendant Louis-Urbain Aubert de Tourny created them between 1743 and 1748. In 1909, the monument to the dead of the Dordogne Mobiles was built in its eastern section, which was renamed "esplanade du Souvenir" in 1997. The allées have been classified as a site of picturesque interest since 1950. Since the 1980s, they have hosted a variety of events.
