Denver Online High School is an online school that is run by the Denver Public School District. It uses the Schoology curriculum. Forty percent of the enrolled students are gifted.First opened in 2003, it enrolls students full time, and provides supplementary classes for students enrolled at other high schools and online classes for homeschooled families.

Sunnyside is a city-center neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, located in the Northside of Denver, west of Interstate 25. The neighborhood is bounded by Union Pacific Railroad lines on the east, Interstate 70 on the north, Federal Boulevard on the West and 38th Avenue on the south. It is bordered by the Highland neighborhood on the south and the Chaffee Park neighborhood on the north. The neighborhood has a community group named Sunnyside United Neighbors, Inc (SUNI).

Highland is a distinct city-center neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, United States, bounded by West 38th Avenue to the north, a Union Pacific Railroad line on the east, the South Platte River to the southeast, Speer Boulevard on the south, and Federal Boulevard on the west. The Highlands is sometimes used to refer to two separate city-center neighborhoods in Denver; Highland and West Highland, although the two neighborhoods are distinct. Highland and West Highland are both in the area that is referred to as the Northside. Highland is located immediately northwest of downtown. Note that the Highland neighborhood association has a slightly different definition with the easternmost boundary stopping at I-25. And the West Highland neighborhood to the immediate west of Highland, with the borders of 38th and 29th Avenues on the north and south and Federal and Sheridan Boulevards on the east and west. To distinguish between its immediately adjacent neighbor, West Highland, Highland is sometimes referred to as East Highland, Lower Highland or LoHi. The two together are casually called "the Highlands," a term which often falsely encompasses other Northwest Denver neighborhoods such as Jefferson Park, Sunnyside and Berkeley. Realtors have particularly pushed the inclusion of the recently gentrified Berkeley, located directly north of West Highland, as part of the Highlands, sometimes going so far as to refer to Berkeley and parts of Sunnyside as the "Upper Highlands". To add further confusion, within the Highlands neighborhoods there are several historic designations of various degrees, including Potter Highlands, Scottish Highlands and Highlands Park.West Highland and the Highland neighborhoods (large portions of zip codes 80211 and 80212) currently have a population of about 57,000 people.

The St. Patrick Mission Church in Denver, Colorado, known also as St. Patrick's, is a historic church at 3325 Pecos Street. It was built in 1907 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.The parish was established in 1881.

The All Saints Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado, later known as Chapel of Our Merciful Saviour, is a historic church at 2222 W. 32nd Avenue. It was built in 1890 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Highland Park Historic District in Denver, Colorado is a 23.8 acres (9.6 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has also been known as Scottish Village.It includes "the only segment of the original Highland Park subdivision to remain intact", with 133 contributing buildings on 23.8 acres (9.6 ha).The district is bounded by Zuni St., Dunkeld Pl., Clay St., and 32nd Ave.

The Romeo Block, located at 2944 Zuni St. in Denver, Colorado, was built in 1889. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.It was designed in 1889 by the Baerresen Brothers, Harold and Viggio, for use by five storefronts on the street level, as a rooming house on the second floor, and possibly also as a blacksmith shop in the basement.

41st & Fox station (sometimes stylized as 41st•Fox) is a commuter rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. It serves the Regional Transportation District's B Line and G Line and serves the Globeville and Sunnyside neighborhoods. It is the first station northbound on the route from Denver Union Station.The station was originally scheduled to open in 2016, but was delayed with the rest of the G Line to early 2019. It opened on April 26, 2019. 41st & Fox station has connections to TheRide buses.

St. Elizabeth's Retreat Chapel is a historic Catholic chapel at 2825 W. 32nd Avenue in Denver, Colorado, United States. It was built in 1894 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.It was designed by architect Frederick G. Sterner and has an apsidal plan.

19th Street Bridge is a two-span through Pratt truss road bridge in Denver, Colorado, over the South Platte River, now used for pedestrians. It was built in 1888 to replace a wooden structure and carried automobile traffic until 1986. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Highland Bridge is the third of three pedestrian bridges to connect Downtown Denver with the Highland neighborhood. The bridge crosses the Valley Highway (Interstate 25) between Platte Street and Central Street as an extension of the 16th Street Mall. The bridge was opened on December 16, 2006. It is 325 feet long and cost US $5.2 million to build.
