Michigan Governor's Mansion

The Michigan Governor's Summer Residence, also known as the Lawrence A. Young Cottage, is a house located at the junction of Fort Hill and Huron roads on Mackinac Island, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Lansing Car Assembly was a General Motors automobile factory in Lansing, Michigan. It contained two elements, a 1901 automobile plant in downtown Lansing, and the 1920 Durant Motors factory on Lansing's Far Westside. The Lansing plant was the home factory for Oldsmobile, and the longest-operating automobile factory in the United States when it closed on May 6, 2005, and one of General Motors last assembly plants where vehicle bodies were made at one plant, and then trucked to another plant to be finished. General Motors began demolition of the plant in the spring of 2006, and demolition was completed in 2007. A new plant at nearby Lansing Grand River Assembly, which began production in 2001, as well as the Delta Township called Lansing Delta Township Assembly assumed some operations when it began production in 2006. From the 1940s through the 1980s, it was the main producer of full-size Oldsmobiles (88 and 98), but by the 1990s it was producing compact cars for several GM divisions.

J. W. Sexton High School is a public school located on the western edge of Lansing, Michigan, United States, in the Lansing School District. The principal is currently Daniel Boggan. The Sexton J-Dubbs are members of the Capital Area Activities Conference. The school has a fierce rivalry with the Everett Vikings of Everett High School on the south side of the city. In March 2012 the Lansing School District announced that Sexton would house 7-12 grades beginning in the 2012–2013 school year.

The Lansing Metal Center was a General Motors foundry located in Lansing Township, Michigan directly across Saginaw Street from the Lansing Craft Center. It was originally built as a jet engine manufacturing plant in 1952 and shuttered in 2006.Upon its closing, the plant was 1,590,000 square feet (148,000 m2) in size, and employed 1,200. General Motors began the demolition of the plant in February 2008 along with the Lansing Craft Center, when all operations were transferred to the nearby Lansing Delta Township facility.

The Darius B. Moon House is a private home constructed by architect Darius B. Moon for his own use. It is located at 216 Huron Street in Lansing, Michigan. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Darius B. Moon (1851–1939) was an architect in Lansing, Michigan, United States. A largely self-educated poet, artist and craftsman, Moon built over 260 structures, most of them in the area of Lansing and East Lansing, Michigan, during a prolific career that stretched from 1860 to 1923. Darius B. Moon was born in 1851 in Cattaraugus County, New York, and moved to Eaton County, Michigan when he was three years old. He was married in 1877, and moved to Lansing by 1883 and began his career as a builder. He was interested in architecture from an early age, and was likely self-taught. Following his interest, by 1888 he was working as an architect. He worked alone until 1909, when he partnered with Raymond Spice to form the firm of Moon and Spice. He continued working until his retirement in 1923.His Queen Anne-style houses range from the Ransom E. Olds residence (demolished in 1971 to make way for the R. E. Olds Freeway) to the Howland House student co-op (originally the home of Chester D. Woodbury) in East Lansing. He also designed residences for Henry Kosltchek, Edward D. Sparrow, Frank Dodge, Judge Person, and H.M. Rogers. In addition to houses, Moon designed four schools, the Olds Motor Works, and the original Sparrow Hospital.

Barnes Avenue School is a school building located at 1028 West Barnes Avenue in Lansing, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

The Lansing Craft Center (LCC) was a specialized General Motors automobile assembly factory in Lansing Township, Michigan located at 2801 West Saginaw Street across from GM's Lansing Metal Center.

Lansing Redistribution Center (formerly, Lansing Service Parts Operation) is a General Motors automobile parts warehouse located in Delta charter Township, Michigan at West Mount Hope Highway and Lansing Road along GTW-operated railway. The 2,300,000 sq ft (210,000 m2) was originally constructed in 1959, opened in 1960 and expanded in 1964, 1965, 1969 and 1979.It is the only General Motors warehouse that specializes in shipping parts in low demand. It had 240 employees as of 2008.As of 2022, the warehouse had 210 employees.

Lansing Grand River Assembly (LGR) is a General Motors owned and operated automobile assembly facility located in Lansing, Michigan, United States. Lansing Grand River Assembly produces vehicles built upon the GM Alpha platform including the Cadillac CT4, Cadillac CT5, and Chevrolet Camaro. The Lansing Grand River Assembly facility includes a body shop, paint shop, general assembly and central utilities complex.

The Michigan Hall of Justice, also known as the Michigan Supreme Court Building is a six-story structure at 925 Ottawa Street in Lansing, Michigan. An example of monumental neoclassicism, the Hall of Justice was designed by Spillis Candella DMJM and Albert Kahn Associates, Inc.The building contains a total of 280,000 sq ft (26,000 m2) houses the Michigan Supreme Court, state court administrative offices and a 3,800 sq ft (350 m2) learning center. The Michigan Hall of Justice is situated at the west end of the mall facing the Michigan State Capitol and consists of a limestone-clad central entry, framed by Doric columns, and two curved wings. Above the entry is a three-sided bay that is capped by a glass dome. One-story colonnades extend from the two curved wings providing a covered area for pedestrians and helping to link the building visually to the Capitol.

The Michigan Supreme Court is the highest court in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is Michigan's court of last resort and consists of seven justices. The Court is located in the Michigan Hall of Justice at 925 Ottawa Street in Lansing, the state capital.
