Laksevåg Church (Norwegian: Laksevåg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Laksevåg in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Laksevåg parish which is part of the Bergen domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1875 using plans drawn up by the architects Peter Andreas Blix and Theodor August Fromholz. The church seats about 432 people.

The Damsgård Tunnel (Norwegian: Damsgårdstunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It consists of two tubes, each of which carries two lanes of traffic through the Damsgårdsfjellet mountain between the neighborhoods of Lyngbø and Gyldenpris and the onwards towards the city centre. The northern end of the tunnel lies adjacent to the entrance to the Løvstakk Tunnel and the Puddefjord Bridge. The tunnel is one of the major arterial highways leading west from the city centre. The tube that carries eastbound traffic was opened in 1992 and it is 2,360-metre (7,740 ft) long, while the other tube opened the following year and it is slightly shorter at 2,342-metre (7,684 ft) long. The Damsgård Tunnel is part of Norwegian National Road 555 which runs from Fjell to Bergen's city centre. The average daily traffic through the Damsgård Tunnel was 35,127 vehicles in 2007, up from 29,336 in 2000.

The Løvstakken Tunnel (Norwegian: Løvstakktunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel connects the Fyllingsdalen area with the eastern part of the borough of Laksevåg and the city centre. It was built in 1968 to improve connectivity with the newly developed area. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 17,015 vehicles in 2007, down from 17,702 vehicles in 2000. The tunnel is 2,045 metres (6,709 ft) long.In 2002, a safety study by the German company Deutsche Montan Technologie found serious shortcomings in the tunnel's safety, and among 30 European tunnels studied, the tunnel was ranked in 27th place. To improve matters, the flammable polyethylene foam in the tunnel was removed, fire extinguishers and emergency phones were installed at 50-metre (160 ft) and 250-metre (820 ft) intervals respectively, surveillance cameras, emergency lighting, and emergency signage were introduced, and the speed limit was reduced from 70 to 60 kilometres per hour (43 to 37 mph). This raised the safety standard to minimum requirements, but the traffic volume is still large for a single tunnel.

Damsgårdsfjellet is a mountain in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The 284-metre (932 ft) tall mountain lies west of Melkeplassen and it is one of the seven mountains surrounding the city center of Bergen.

Port locations are featured along most of the two bays in Bergen, Vågen and Puddefjorden. Carte Blanche is the Norwegian national company of contemporary dance, based in Bergen in western Norway. Since August 2018 the artistic and general director of the company has been Annabelle Bonnéry from France. Choreographers who have recently worked with Carte Blanche include Ina Christel Johannessen, Alan Lucien Øyen, Sharon Eyal (from Batsheva Dance Company), and Rui Horta. The company produces a minimum of three new choreographic works a year and performs an average of four to six productions every year. While the home base of the company is in Bergen, the company spends much time touring elsewhere in Norway (e.g. Oslo Opera House), but also abroad. Some recent international performances include: "Klokka 3 om ettermiddagen" (3 o'clock in the afternoon) by Ina Christel Johannessen at the "Ice hot – Nordic dance platform" festival in Stockholm, Sweden, "Corps de Walk" by Sharon Eyal in Turku, Finland, as a part of city's activities as a European Capital of Culture in 2011 "Ambra" by Ina Christel Johannessen, a co-production between Carte Blanche and Iceland Dance Company staged at the Reykjavík Arts Festival and the Bergen International Festival. Johannessen received the 2008 Norwegian Critics Price for her choreography of Ambra. "Killer Pig" and "Love" by Sharon Eyal at the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Becket, MA, USAThe company has an international crew of about 15 dancers. During the audition in January 2011, 170 candidates representing 28 nationalities were competing for two vacancies.The history of Carte Blanche in Bergen starts in 1989, first as a regional dance theatre. After a turbulent start including a bankruptcy, the company has gained a solid position, and is currently the national contemporary dance theatre of Norway. Carte Blanche is owned and funded by the Norwegian state (70%), the County of Hordaland (15%) and the City of Bergen (15%).

The Puddefjord Bridge (Norwegian: Puddefjordsbroen) is an arch bridge in Bergen, Norway. The reinforced concrete bridge consists of two directly adjacent, near-identical bridges, the first of which was built in 1956 and the second in 1999. Norwegian National Road RV 555 crosses Puddefjord bridge over Damsgårdssundet into the tunnels Løvstakk tunnel (Løvstakktunnelen) to Fyllingsdalen and Damsgårds tunnel (Damsgårdstunnelen) to Laksevåg. The bridge carries six lanes of motor vehicles and two cycle/footpaths across the Puddefjorden in central Bergen, between Møhlenpris in the city centre and Gyldenpris in Årstad borough. Although it does not have official motorway status, it is an important part of the city's motorway network, linking the westbound motorway, Sotraveien, to European route E39.The bridge was important in the development of the valley of Fyllingsdalen, which was annexed by Bergen in 1955. It also served as a more convenient road to the city centre for the residents of Laksevåg, who prior to its construction had to drive through Danmarksplass or take the ferry across the Puddefjord.As of 2012, the bridge carried a daily average traffic of 56,098 vehicles.
