The Damsgård Tunnel (Norwegian: Damsgårdstunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It consists of two tubes, each of which carries two lanes of traffic through the Damsgårdsfjellet mountain between the neighborhoods of Lyngbø and Gyldenpris and the onwards towards the city centre. The northern end of the tunnel lies adjacent to the entrance to the Løvstakk Tunnel and the Puddefjord Bridge. The tunnel is one of the major arterial highways leading west from the city centre. The tube that carries eastbound traffic was opened in 1992 and it is 2,360-metre (7,740 ft) long, while the other tube opened the following year and it is slightly shorter at 2,342-metre (7,684 ft) long. The Damsgård Tunnel is part of Norwegian National Road 555 which runs from Fjell to Bergen's city centre. The average daily traffic through the Damsgård Tunnel was 35,127 vehicles in 2007, up from 29,336 in 2000.

It is located in the borough of Laksevåg in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Laksevåg parish which is part of the Bergen domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1875 using plans drawn up by the architects Peter Andreas Blix and Theodor August Fromholz. The church seats about 432 people.

The Løvstakken Tunnel (Norwegian: Løvstakktunnelen) is a road tunnel in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel connects the Fyllingsdalen area with the eastern part of the borough of Laksevåg and the city centre. It was built in 1968 to improve connectivity with the newly developed area. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 17,015 vehicles in 2007, down from 17,702 vehicles in 2000. The tunnel is 2,045 metres (6,709 ft) long.In 2002, a safety study by the German company Deutsche Montan Technologie found serious shortcomings in the tunnel's safety, and among 30 European tunnels studied, the tunnel was ranked in 27th place. To improve matters, the flammable polyethylene foam in the tunnel was removed, fire extinguishers and emergency phones were installed at 50-metre (160 ft) and 250-metre (820 ft) intervals respectively, surveillance cameras, emergency lighting, and emergency signage were introduced, and the speed limit was reduced from 70 to 60 kilometres per hour (43 to 37 mph). This raised the safety standard to minimum requirements, but the traffic volume is still large for a single tunnel.

Nygård Church (Norwegian: Nygård kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Bergen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Gravdal neighborhood in the city of Bergen. It is the church for the Nygård parish which is part of the Bergen domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1972 using plans drawn up by the architect Arvid Jacobson from the firm of Einar Vaardal-Lunde. The church seats about 520 people.

Puddefjorden, often anglicized as Pudde Fjord, is an inlet or fjord in the central part of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. An arm off of the main Byfjorden, the Puddefjorden is 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) long and stretches from the tip of the Nordnes peninsula to the Solheimsviken bay at the entrance to the Store Lungegårdsvannet bay. The fjord is 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) at its widest, between Nordnes and the inner part of the borough of Laksevåg. The innermost part of the fjord, known as Damsgårdssundet, is much narrower, scarcely 100 metres (330 ft) wide at its narrowest. The fjord is located next to some of Bergen's most important industrial areas, and has played a significant part in the city's development and industrialisation.

The white, concrete church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1976 using plans drawn up by the architect Helge Hjertholm. The church seats about 350 people, but it expandable up to about 600.

The Nordnes Park (Norwegian: Nordnesparken) is a public park in the municipality of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The park is located near the centre of the city of Bergen on the northwestern end of the Nordnes peninsula. It was established in 1888-1898 after an initiative from Edvard G. Johannessen in Det nyttige Selskab. The park covers about 32.7 decares (8.1 acres) of land. The Bergen Aquarium and the headquarters of the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research are both located on the grounds of the park.The city of Bergen and the city of Seattle are sister cities, and in 1970, Seattle sent a totem pole to Bergen to celebrate the city's 900th anniversary. The totem pole was erected in the Nordnes Park.

Bergen Port is an international seaport located in the centre of Bergen, Norway, operated by Bergen Port Authority. Port locations are featured along most of the two bays in Bergen, Vågen and Puddefjorden. In 2006 it served 27,342 calls with 68 million tonnes of cargo and 109,000 containersas well as 600,000 cruise ship passengers. The port has 5,500 meters of quays with draft at 11 meters. Warehouses with capacity of 50,000 square meters are co-located with the port.
