The Bud Adams Equestrian Center is a multi-purpose arena and equestrian center in Fort Pierce, Florida on the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds. It can seat up to 5,000, and in 2007 was the home to the Port St. Lucie Mustangs indoor football team. The Equestrian Center, with 3,462 permanent seats, is used for a variety of events including rodeos, horse shows and concerts (seating up to 5,000). The arena measures 75,000 square feet (7,000 m²) of total space. All permanent seats are bleachers.

Clover Park is a baseball stadium located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The stadium was built in time for the 1988 season and holds 7,160 people. It is the spring training home of the New York Mets (who moved from St. Petersburg's Al Lang Stadium), as well as the home to the St. Lucie Mets Single-A team and the Florida Complex League Mets Rookie League team. The stadium shares the same field dimensions of the now demolished Shea Stadium. It also sometimes hosts college games.

Whereas, the total staff in the district consists of over 6,500 teachers and 2,300 administration staff.

Fort Pierce Central High School is a public high school located in Fort Pierce, Florida, United States. It is part of the St. Lucie Public Schools district.

Indian River State College (IRSC) is a public college with a main campus in Fort Pierce, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System and serves the counties of Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie on the Treasure Coast region of Florida.

WQCS (FM 88.9) is the National Public Radio member station for the Treasure Coast of Florida. Licensed to Fort Pierce, it is owned by Indian River State College, with studios in building Q of the college's main campus in Fort Pierce. The station signed on in March 1982, originally at 88.3 FM, and operating at 3,000 watts from the McAlpin Fine Arts Center. Four years later, it boosted its power to 100,000 watts, more than tripling its coverage area in the process, and moved to its current dial position at 88.9 FM. The format is a mix of classical music and NPR talk programming. WQCS also broadcasts in HD. It offers a 24-hour news/talk station on HD 2, and a classic hits station known as "The River" (taken from a nickname for the college) on HD 3.

Victory Forge Military Academy has changed its name to Southeastern Military Academy. Victory Forge Military Academy, located in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is a year-round boarding school that utilizes military-style components for behavior modification. It enrolls "rebellious and troubled" adolescent males under the age of 18. The academy states that it is accredited by the National Association of Christian Education (NACE). The academy is highly controversial and has been subject to numerous allegations of physical and emotional abuse for its use of shackles and beatings.

Fort Pierce South is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,062 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Port St. Lucie Metropolitan Statistical Area.

WQCP (91.1 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station broadcasting a classical music radio format. It is licensed to Fort Pierce, Florida, and serves the Treasure Coast. It is part of IRSC Public Media, a division of Indian River State College, alongside two other stations: WQCS 88.9 FM in Fort Pierce and WQJS 88.5 FM in Clewiston.

The Captain Hammond House is a historic house located at 5775 Citrus Avenue in White City, Florida. It was built for and served as the home for the retired New England sea captain John Hammond.

St. Lucie West Centennial High School is a public high school in Port St. Lucie, Florida, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,502 students and 125.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 20.0:1. There were 1,181 students (47.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 171 (6.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

John Carroll High School, located in Fort Pierce, Florida, is a co-ed Catholic high school serving nearly 400 students in grades 9-12.
