The Águas Livres Aqueduct (Portuguese: Aqueduto das Águas Livres, pronounced [ɐkɨˈdutu dɐz‿aɡwɐʃ ˈlivɾɨʃ], "Aqueduct of the Free Waters") is a historic aqueduct in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. It is one of the most remarkable examples of 18th-century Portuguese engineering. The main course of the aqueduct covers 18 km, but the whole network of canals extends through nearly 58 km. The city of Lisbon has always suffered from lack of drinking water, and King John V decided to build an aqueduct to bring water from sources in the parish of Caneças, in the modern municipality of Odivelas. The project was paid for by a special sales tax on beef, olive oil, wine, and other products.

From 1978 (the year it was founded) until 1988, Nova SBE campus was in Campo Grande. After that, and until it moved to Carcavelos in September 2018, the School was housed in the 19th-century building of the former Jesuit College of Campolide.

Campo de Sete Rios was a football grass field in Lisbon, Portugal. When the rent at Quinta da Feiteira became too high in 1908, the managing directors looked for a solution. In the end of 1912, thanks to Cosme Damião, Benfica rented a field in a farm in Sete Rios for $250 yearly. To be able to support the rent and adequate the field, Benfica launched a fund raiser. The field was rented on 1 January 1913 next to the railway station de Sete Rios. Benfica then build a stand for 10,000 people and a tennis court. In 1916, the owners of the land asked for $650 yearly, plus expenses and the benefactories remain on the land. Also no compensation for eventual expropriation by the Municipality of Lisbon. Sport Lisboa e Benfica refused and left the ground in 1917 to Campo de Benfica in the back of its headquarters in Avenida Gomes Pereira. Between 1913 and 1917, Benfica played 38 matches, won 26, draw 6 and lost 6, scored 130, conceded 40.

NOVA University Lisbon (Portuguese: Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, pronounced [univɨɾsiˈðað(ɨ) ˈnɔvɐ ðɨ liʒˈβo.ɐ]), or just NOVA, is a Portuguese public university whose rectorate is located in Campolide, Lisbon. Founded in 1973, it is the newest of the public universities in the Portuguese capital city, earning its name as the "New" (NOVA) University of Lisbon. Lycée français Charles Lepierre is an international school in Lisbon, Portugal. The medium of instruction is French. In 1907, a French-medium school was opened on Rua da Emenda by the Société de l’École Française de Lisbonne. In 1917 the school moved to Pátio do Tijolo in the Braancamp Palace near Largo do Rato, purchased that year by the Société de l’École Française de Lisbonne. In 1952, the school moved to its current location. The school is named after Professor Charles Lepierre (1867-1945), a chemical engineer who graduated from the École de Physique et Chimie Industrielle de Paris, who was a student of Pierre Curie and who moved to Portugal in 1888. He was a University Professor at Coimbra University initially, at the micro-biology laboratory, then at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. His areas of research were chemistry, micro-biology and public health. He was responsible for founding the first industrial chemical engineering course in Portugal. The school belongs to the system of schools managed by the Agence pour l’Enseignement du Français à l’Étranger (AEFE) under the French foreign ministry. The school follows the official instructions of France's Ministry of National Education.

The Central Mosque of Lisbon (Portuguese: Mesquita Central de Lisboa) is the main mosque of Lisbon, Portugal, serving the capital city's Islamic community, the mosque is Europe's third largest mosque outside of Turkey. The building was designed by the architects António Maria Braga, winner of the 2019 Rafael Manzano Prize, and João Paulo Conceição; its external features includes four minaret and two domes. The mosque contains reception halls, a prayer hall and an auditorium. The Central Mosque has formed a council to provide financial and others services to members of the local Muslim community.

Estádio das Amoreiras, also known as Campo das Amoreiras, was a multi-use stadium in Lisbon, Portugal. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home games of S.L. Benfica. Opened in 1925, the stadium was able to hold 20,000 spectators. It was demolished in 1940 to make way for a freeway. Benfica would then move to Estádio do Campo Grande.
